Very modern and quite nice

I don’t understand why this is a 5 -star hotel. It was quite expensive, we went there during art week and we didn’t have much to choose from. But I read good reviews about this hotel and decided to give it a go.
The rooms were smaller than pictured. They gave us a connecting room and we could hear the neighbors- there was not much privacy.
The hardware of the bar installed on the shower door came off, and they just put the hardware on the counter without fixing it, and the bar almost came off and fell on my feet. Hair from previous guests was also found on the drain.
However, the restaurants are not bad, we had room service a couple of times and were quiet satisfied with the food.

This has been and is my favorite hotel in Miami! The location is in the center of Brickell right next to the mall. So it’s possible to walk around. I love the location! The amenities are amazing! I love the pool, I love the gym and the restaurants and bars as well. The rooms are super clean and have a beautiful aesthetic! The entire hotel smells amazing and looks luxurious and amazing as well. You can rent the city bikes for free and have amazing views from the balcony. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind! By far my favorite hotel in Miami!

THE BEST hotel I have ever stayed in! I LOVED IT! EAST was fantastic. I got there for check-in, and my room wasn't ready. In about fifteen minutes, they called me and apologized for the inconvenience (which there wasn't), and upgraded me to a two bedroom suite! I love the attention to detail they have, and how nice the hotel is. When you get a chance, go to the rooftop bar, Sugar. The view is phenomenal. Ramon was the guy who usually brought my car down from valet. He was so great, and he's a really funny dude. I Loved staying here, and would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

I went there for lunch today , and I have to say that Daniel was amazing ! I told him that I was in a time frame from my lunch break and didn't have much time. He made sure that the food came out fast and it was delicious

Overpriced mall-court level food, unfriendly sloppy service, and the hygiene of a Chinatown corner joint. We didn’t even get silverware and napkins until we asked for them, to which the bored waitress responded: Do you really need silverware?.. We also had to return a lipstick stained glass TWICE, and don’t get me started with the restrooms.. anyway, if you want this standard you can go to your local cats and dogs Chinese joint and save yourself the money.

The food is good, but the service has very very low standards. I went to this restaurant seven times in one year. Only once everything was well. The first time that I went there I waited almost 15 minutes and nobody wanted to take my order. I left the restaurant quite upset with the lack of respect. After several months, I gave them another chance. I waited for more than 40 minutes for my order. Another time it took 30 minutes for the waiter to say that the desert that I had ordered was not available. Last time, the waiter simply forgot one item of my order. All these problems are an evidence that the restaurant is badly managed and that the people working there are not happy at all. If you want a stress-free dining, do not go to this restaurant.

love it. much better than the dolphin mall PFC. very cozy ( cough cough felt no AC (thumbs up)). big big portions. wonderful spring rolls (i just realized the spring rolls arent vegan (thus not wonderful) but the lettuce wraps (which are famus i guess) are vegan but i havent tried). nice nice waiter (warning: pfc waiters often overly attractive n nice). last but not least on your birthday if u have the "rewards account thingy" they should give you a free appetizer or dessert. bye.

Christmas Eve morning. Needed coffee. My son & I walked to Balans. We each had a cappuccino & decided to have breakfast. The service was great & helpful. We sat outside with the beautiful December weather. The food was delicious & reasonably priced.

Place is Good, Food and Drinks are nice. but This Place is missing 2 stars Just Because of its Service. The staff needs to be trained and should deliver the order in time on Tables and professionally. Otherwise great experience.

I usually come here for breakfast or brunch and they offer your usual American breakfast items like eggs Benedict, Florentine, pancakes and oatmeal. I almost always get the oatmeal with water (they also make it with milk) which comes with banana and I ask for honey.
The alcoholic drinks I've had here were not of good quality, though.

The only thing better than an October Sunday morning in Miami below 80 degrees...is starting the day with a fantastic brunch. Today I was fortunate to have both!
Balans has been my go-to brunch spot in Brickell for years...but something has recently changed this bustling, yet relaxing eatery, from good to great. The servers were more than welcoming and gracious from start to finish. My spinach stuffed omelette came piping hot, the Swiss cheese melted perfectly...and most importantly, with clean flavors. My mimosa was the cherry on top!
Definitely stop in for a nice weekend bite. The menu, while offering many breakfast staples, also has a variety of tasty eclectic creations.

They overcharged me. When I noticed the discrepancy between my receipt and credit card bill, I immediately called the restaurant. I have talked with several people, but no one can help me. I called every day for a week straight. I am not impressed at all, and I will never dine here again.
