We stayed at the Grand Waikikian twice before and were VERY disappointed this time. Paid for a 1 bedroom suite with ocean view, not very clean at all, no one slept the first 3 nights. There was a loud bang every 15 minutes coming from inside our wall. On the third night at 2:30 am I went to the front desk and asked to be moved or fix the noise. They sent maintenance up at 3 am who “confirmed the noise” but there was “nothing they could do”. The next morning we spoke to a manager and were moved but it was a downgrade. The new room hadn’t even been cleaned! There was pee all over the toilet seat, down the front, on the floor, sheets were not cleaned and smelled, the sofa bed was fodled up and still had dirty bedding on it that smelled like puke, the washing machine smelled so bad I refused to wash our clothes in it and had to keep it closed, the sink drains and toilet were clogged, the bathtub would gurgle anytime someone flushed or drained something somewhere else (bathtub is in the room, so good luck sleeping), you could hear everything the people above you were doing all the time. They sent room service up to clean, but it wasn’t done well and the pee spots on the floor remained the rest of our stay. When room service showed up at 9-9:30 am and we were still waking up, some would that said they couldn’t come back if we didn’t leave in the next 30-60 min for them to clean the room. Spoke to a manager who didn’t help resolve any concerns and nothing was done to help us enjoy the stay. Do not recommend!

Be very careful booking a stay here especially if it’s your first time in Hawaii you will get suckered into a time share make sure you look up time shares prior to your visit this is becoming a big scheme you will offered gifts to hear there pitch and everything sound too good to be true.
