They offered free towel rentals, which we used a lot! Mahalo! The bed was also big and comfortable. Having two key cards was very convenient.
The hotel staffs are kind and professionals. The room is spacious and amenities are nicely done I think. My husband loved their bed linens. The blanket was so soft and comfy
You can walk to Alamoana center, Walmart and Target. We were able to get some snacks at Alamoana food court many times and it was very convenient!
The hotel is located in a bustling area of downtown Honolulu, very close to commercial centers like Walmart and Macy's, just a 5-minute walk away
I like the Pagoda Hotel. Service staff are friendly, good & affordable breakfast...Good location near the neighborhood and shopping areas
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the service attitude is quite good

Not the hotels fault, but it’s something to bear in mind if you’re given a lower floor. Rooftop pool is small but a nice extra if you don’t fancy the beach. Close to everything; restaurants, shops, beach
The staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Great location.  Would definitely stay there again. The hotel appears a little dated, with old, stained carpet, but I believe they are remodeling.
Like this hotel…very good location , walking distance to markets, ABC store across street, couple of minutes to shopping…only drawback would be the pool- rooftop and small
Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk especially, Mina Molina (she's awesome, friendly and very professional)
Thought of all the little things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were very polite and friendly. Great shower pressure, bed was comfortable and air con fantastic
My only problem (which has nothing to do with this business) would be parking your car in the lot directly next to them. It belongs to the building next door but they have paid public parking

The shower water pressure was about the same as in Japan, which was very helpful! However, it was a bit noisy and a bit damp. Also, there were no amenities, so I recommend bringing your own from Japan!
Our housekeeper Gemma was a memorable part of our stay...such a lovely person, who did an excellent job. The view from our room was AMAZING! We've never had a better lanai...FABULOUS! 😎
It was the best hotel I've stayed at in Hawaii. The stylish lobby was so comfortable that I wanted to sit on the sofa all day, and the room was just the right size for two people
We requested a room on a high floor, so we got a room on the top floor. The lanai was also spacious, and the view from the 9th floor was amazing, with Diamond Head and the ocean
The staff are very courteous and attentive. This is a wonderful area to stay away from the crowds. Pau Tree restaurant has excellent food and our brunch was outstanding.
Even if you don't have a breakfast plan, the shop in the hotel has a wide variety of snacks such as sandwiches, so it's a good idea to buy them and eat them in your room

We travel 3-5 times a year from Maui, and love staying at the Best Western Plaza Hotel. The staff is great, my daughter loves the pool, and we love waking up and going down to get breakfast every morning.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, for a stopover between Melbourne and New York and were very happy with it! We were greeted warmly, advised on where to eat (IHOP down the road was excellent too!), slept well in comfortable beds with blackout curtains and were refreshed for the next part of the journey
The room was quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept very well. The hotel is also close to the airport and offers a free shuttle bus service, which is very convenient for transfers.
It was too far from all the things you wanna do and the pool times are a bit ridiculous but I liked it
Great service, professional staff.  If you are looking to be near the airport this is a great choice.  They have an airport shuttle and breakfast. If I’m in HNL again for a quick layover type trip I would stay here again
Shuttle bus worked seamlessly as well. Thank you all for a wonderful, albeit brief, stay. We swill see you the next time we do that long trip!

The gentleman who works at the pool bar just stares at the tv all day when we he could be collecting empty cups or heaven forbid serving! It’s nice but if you’re expecting a luxury hotel with all the facilities this isn’t it
The location is good, easy walk to broadway, time square, Fifth Ave and Central Park. Very simple breakfast available. Some homeless people on the street but didn’t feel unsafe.
The staff are always warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is peaceful yet close to everything. We’ll definitely be back again next year. Thank you Hokulani for always making our stay feel special 💛
You simply can’t find another place like this—it’s spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The suites are big, well-equipped, and perfect for families
The layout is also a big plus. We were traveling with our parents, and the space was well-designed so that everyone had some privacy and didn’t disturb each other at night (even with snoring!)
9+ Years and Still Our Favorite! We’ve been staying at Hokulani for over 9 years, and it continues to be our all-time favorite hotel in Waikiki

The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a great time staying there in a studio unit for a family of 3. Beach towels are provided at the office. Ala Moana beach is close by (we drove) and it is awesome
The hotel rooms are old but that's not a problem. You can always get a replacement beach towel or bath towel at the front desk
Position amazing Shops and restaurants close Room spacious and modern Pool great and walk along lagoon beautiful
Thank you for your hospitality. I was worried after reading the reviews, but it was very comfortable. The Hilton is across the street, so you can see the fireworks beautifully
There was a water server at the front desk, which was helpful. There were sponges, dish soap, salt, pepper, and coffee in the kitchen. The front desk staff were very kind.
The only disappointing thing is that there is no bathtub and the shower is fixed, so it is difficult to use. I would like to stay here again if I come to Hawaii

The hotel is peaceful, with a lovely bar and cosy atmosphere, and things like free daily slushies and snacks at reception, and biscuits in the room on arrival are great touches
There's a small courtyard on the first floor and a small balcony upstairs. The common area is cozy and has a small swimming pool. Cleanliness: Fair, but there are some insects on the first floor
This was my first trip to Hawaii. The atmosphere was wonderful, giving me a local Hawaiian feel that you don't get at hotels. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the tourist attractions around Waikiki Beach
My room was near the front desk on the first floor, but since the attached bar is nearby, I was a bit concerned about hearing people talking outside at night. I appreciated the free beach chair rentals
The rooms are large and good standard, with a great boho vibe, although the bathrooms are very compact and damp, and some upgrades around the hotel are starting to be needed
Room cleaning was not always thorough, but this wasn’t a major issue during my stay. For the price point this hotel is an excellent choice and I look forward to returning

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. We just spent 11 nights at the Aqua Oasis and had a great stay
clean, no bugs, linen was fresh, room smells good, nice and dark at night after closing all curtains
The staff were all very kind and always greeted me with a smile. I'll come see you again when I visit Hawaii. Thank you for the fun time!
The staff was very helpful and polite. The location of the hotel is central and close to everything. The room was clean, but the whole place needs an upgrade because it's a bit old and it shows.
The counter staff is excellent. The man printed out a document for me and even made it in a Word document for readability The breakfast was lackluster. Frozen pasties and no protein choices
The room was outdated & showed signs of wear n tear

The room was really nice and the staff were really nice and respectful. Just had a little odd issue with the toilet but didn’t bother me much.
I have the good fortune to work in downtown Honolulu on occasion and this is where I stay. It's an actual condo with a small kitcken, living room and bedroom
We arrived early, had our luggage stored and also checked in earlier. The room is very spacious with beautiful harbor views
The neighborhood is decent, there’s a 7/11 on the same block which is very very convenient. Our room was bigger than expected, no one ever used the pool so we had it to ourselves
We watched sunset in the room, beautiful! The state capitol building and Iolani palace are just two blocks away. Chinatown is within 10 minutes walking distance. Many good restaurants available
We worried about the homeless people issues, of the smell that had been reported but we were very please to see our room was extremely clean and we saw about two homeless people there

Special thanks for Kalei as wonderful and kind positive professional to provide the neich services
Friendly customer service
I stayed in Deluxe Room 914. There's an ice machine in the lobby. If you fill your water bottle with ice before heading out, you can avoid buying many expensive bottled drinks.
Staff was very knowledgeable and willing to help. The stay includes an entrance ticket for the Honolulu Museum of Art which is worthy to visit.
Although the hotel is not new, the staff are friendly and the rooms are cleaned, so you can stay with peace of mind. I wasn't expecting much, but I could see the ocean of Waikiki in the distance from the balcony
The staff is friendly and accommodating. If we were ever to return we would stay here. One word of caution is the basement parking is tight. The low hanging pipes challenged a tall vehicle

Coconut Waikiki hotel was conveniently located in walking distance from Waikiki. Had a very nice view to river and had various amenities available to the guests. We enjoyed our stay and it had exceeded our expectations.
I really appreciated the service for the complimentary water, coffee, tea, and popcorn downstairs. Never had to wait for the elevator and staff were all so kind and nice!! I will definitely come back
I really enjoyed staying here! It was so much cheaper than other hotels but safe, spacious, clean, and the best location ever
Very good hotel, well located. There are many restaurants nearby.
I really wish they would provide accurate information
Located 15mins walk from Waikiki Beach. Rooms are decent size with balcony. Lacking amenities like vanity kit, dental kit plus there was US$35.00 charge on check out for amenities.

We came back from the Stay last week. Basically you get what you pay for its a budget hotel, however the room is a good size, bed very comfortable. Housekeeping came in every day we were there 5 nights
Location is an excellent. Service is an excellent. One thing I didnt like: every day preparing food smelling was coming in an evening. Awful
Waikiki beach is just a street away, there is a convenience store beside. Room: The room is very spacious except for the bathroom. The bathroom design was old and had little space to move around
Experience: They do daily housekeeping and had very pleasant experience with the front desk. They serve free snacks in the counter and let me borrow their umbrella
Price: One of the cheapest in Honolulu for the service Overall: I would definitely comeback. This is the best option if you're in a budget
This hotel was so cute and it had a great little bar in the lobby.

The property is older, but recently remodeled. Great location, and overall I enjoyed my stay. Pros: > Friendly staff, clean room, property is well maintained
> Cafe downstairs is excellent (I'd come back to this cafe for the coffee alone). > Pool is small, but cute with designated family/adult swim hours. > Hotel has a great vibe and hosts events throughout the week
It's close to the bus stop and quiet, with no noisy restaurants nearby. There's a pool right next to the front desk, where they apparently hold exercise events
There were no toothbrushes as amenities, and there was no kettle or bottled water, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser on the first floor (I brought my own kettle, so it wasn't a problem)
The shower water felt a little lukewarm, but that's common overseas, so it's tolerable since it's not cold water. There were no chairs in the room, so I sat on a chair on the balcony

Why then a 5 star review? The price is low, the beds are great, the rooms are clean, the staff are excellent, the valet parking was half the price of public parking, the lobby is welcoming, the beach goodies are free to use, the tea and coffee are unlimited, and the location! Excellent location
From the moment we checked in to check out. 5 mins from the beach and local shopping. Room was cozy and comfortable. Robes were a nice bonus! Coffee and water available 24/7
Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. In addition to that, they provide FREE beach gear (towels, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, chairs, and tote bags). No hidden fees when you book through their website
The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, bus stops, and the commercial district. While the rooms are a bit small, they are well-equipped. The lobby offers complimentary beach gear for guests to borrow
My husband and I stayed at Vive for 4 nights, and loved it so much. The staff is amazing, they welcomed us with a glass of pineapple juice and upgraded us to a better room
I recommend creating an account on their website, if you do so they give you 50% off valet parking, free room upgrade (when available), and they give you one extra hour to check-out

service is good and stuff are welcoming. overall the stay is alright, tho a bit old and the AC is loud. Can use hotel’s towels to go to the beach which is convenient
From start, this is more like 3-4* review but considering all the circumstances, a solid 5*. The room was very dated but everything functional
very good. good location for restuarant and other places.
They also sell detergent for $1/load at the front desk. They have live music and hula dancers on Wednesday nights in the lobby that play for a few hours, great sense of community
The room looks a bit dated, but the hot water is superb and the bed comfortable. For the price point, this is an amazing value in Waikiki
Great locally owned business in a prime location one block from the beach. They offer umbrellas, chairs, and towels to take to the beach. 24/7 laundry machines available, very cheap pricing as well for that

Friendly place! I will recommend to everyone, really close to Waikiki beach. Excellent location
The location was great and the staff was friendly.
Good hotel for a short stay in waikiki. The location is great right in the center but the fact that it is just above a nightclub is a downside as you can quite hear the music until 2 or 4 in the morning

Waking up to that view of ocean, mountain, you can clearly even see the sand from Ala Moana beach park! Amazing all around. Pool was nice! Elevator were fine. It was amazing trip, we could have stayed there forever
The location was amazing, overlooking the beaches to Waikiki and Honolulu! The elevator was troublesome because only one was in operation. This made for a timely entrance and exit as the building was nearly 40 floors
Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy
Not to mention, apartment was super tidy! It also came with a therapeutic queen bed! They stocked water, still water and all essentials for us amazing!
There are some problems with the elevator system and it is not the best looking property but it does have a good location
Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Well with the price. Bed was very comfortable. Extremely clean rooms and great amenities

The amenities are perfectly adequate (air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV), the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and there's even a small (clean) pool right behind the bar
The location of the room is very good, close to Waikiki Beach, Mecy and Alomona shopping districts. There is an abc store and MM next to it, so you can have breakfast. The room is retro, clean and hygienic
There is a bar next to it where you can have a drink, which is very cozy. Although the sound insulation is not so perfect, the transportation is convenient, and it is highly recommended
Room was comfortable, but bathroom very tight and in need of a little repair work. Food was delicious at the bar and service was very friendly.
Great location. Great front desk staff. Even though traditional room is clean.
More than adequate for an overnight stay. Very good location near Waikiki Beach, with its shops and restaurants

We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!
The shower hose was situated upwards, so gravity would make it kink unless you wrapped it around the top post of the holder, and the head would pop out of the holder and spray everything unless you had it wrapped around the hand hold underneath it, then tightly placed in its holder
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic
but the passageways were very narrow ,and had blind corners, so watch out for that. I'll probably stay here again, just because I didn't get screwed out of parking
Also it was about chest level, and I'm only 5'7. The parking garage was good, plenty of spots to park, I only had to ever go to the second floor

Our room was in Waikiki tower and faced Waikiki for a pleasing vista, tho with all the high rises in Waikiki the vista was a little on the narrow side, but the lanai was a fantastic spot from which to enjoy a morning coffee
It is located next to one of Hawaii's Most Famous Shopping Centers where there is shopping, food, and entertainment.
Great accommodations just off Waikiki. If, like us, you were there to spend time in Waikiki then be prepared to walk a bit or take a short bus ride to the heart of Waikiki
We had a Waikiki trolley pass and used that option from the shopping plaza next door. An easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was very hospitable as were the shopkeepers in the lobby area
The hotel was very clea an comfortable. My only complaint was checking in. There were only two clerks and a large number of us came in around the same time
Took about 45 minutes to check in but once I was at the counter it was quick. Full room cleaning service each day and the room was spotless
