The worst experience of my week in Hawaii:

Service: Absolutely nonexistent. The front desk staff didn't know anything or offer any explanations.
Restaurants: Terrible. The worst restaurant of the week, and incredibly expensive. The drinks were also awful, surprisingly so. It felt completely unprofessional.
Facilities: The hotel and rooms were very old.
Beach: Lots of people fishing on the beach at night. I didn't dare go into the water during the day.

The staff are very courteous and attentive. This is a wonderful area to stay away from the crowds. Pau Tree restaurant has excellent food and our brunch was outstanding.

A lovely hotel and beautiful, lively lobby,
Rooms with an ocean view, great staff and housekeeping. I would love to stay here again! The Hau Tree restaurant is wonderful.

The shower water pressure was about the same as in Japan, which was very helpful!
However, it was a bit noisy and a bit damp.
Also, there were no amenities, so I recommend bringing your own from Japan!

It was the best hotel I've stayed at in Hawaii. The stylish lobby was so comfortable that I wanted to sit on the sofa all day, and the room was just the right size for two people. We requested a room on a high floor, so we got a room on the top floor. The lanai was also spacious, and the view from the 9th floor was amazing, with Diamond Head and the ocean.
The air conditioner in the room broke, but they fixed it right away, which was great.
The restaurant in the hotel was also delicious.
The eggs Benedict, which is well-known, and the pancakes were the best for me.
Even if you don't have a breakfast plan, the shop in the hotel has a wide variety of snacks such as sandwiches, so it's a good idea to buy them and eat them in your room.
At the beach, there were few people and it was quiet, so we were able to spend a very meaningful time.
However, there are no Japanese staff, so if you are not familiar with English, it may be difficult to deal with any problems that arise.
Still, they explained things carefully so that Japanese people could understand, so I could see their sincerity.
I would 100% recommend this hotel.

The pictures online were false advertisement. I booked a room king Superior Oceanfront based on pictures of a different more upgraded room. When brought to the attention of the manager (I showed him the pics online and he agreed that was not the room) he stated we needed to reach out to whatever website we booked the room with and there was nothing they could do. Also there was hair on the floor of the bathroom. When we told them about that they sent someone upstairs with a rag and all he did was wipe the floor no cleaning supplies at all. He spoke little english but managed to say something about bugs coming from outside and he was in our room the day before we checked in to exterminate. There goes our balcony door from opening. The AC has to stay on the whole time to really kick in. Old old units. Also I've read the previous reviews and we are not close to any stores. My son lives out here and drove us to the stores and it was like a 20 min drive.

Very romantic and lovely little restaurant. I had breakfast and lunch there so I could try and see my husband work on trying to get the Pacific Paradise off the rocks on Kaimana Beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating getting me a table with a perfect view! The service was excellent and food wonderful! I sat under a tree where Robert Lewis Stevenson sat and wrote some of his sea stories.

Went for dinner last night. Food was fantastic. The service was A1. We had a few showers and the staff were so accommodating putting us in the dry and then when it stopped re dressing our table to sit back out again. This is a hidden treasure as it is off the main area,but worth a look. Recommend to all. Thanks Roger for looking after us. Jane and Danny. We will be back.
