They offered free towel rentals, which we used a lot! Mahalo! The bed was also big and comfortable. Having two key cards was very convenient.
I stayed for five days and four nights, and the air conditioning was incredibly loud at night, like a bomber, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also, if you want them to clean your room, it costs $25 USD each time. I'd advise anyone who is sensitive to noise at night to avoid this hotel.
The hotel is located in a bustling area of downtown Honolulu, very close to commercial centers like Walmart and Macy's, just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the service attitude is quite good.
100% budget hotel but the main issue I had was the hidden fees. I ended up paying almost double when I checked in. Seems really dishonest to charge a low amount through the app and then charged again when you check in.
the staff (hotel and restaurant) are nice; a bit far from ala moana center and ala moana beach and park if you are carrying heavy luggages
Good Hotel! Close to Walmart and Ala Moana Center

Fabulous boutique hotel. Thought of all the little things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were very polite and friendly. Great shower pressure, bed was comfortable and air con fantastic. We had a room on the 3rd floor and unfortunately we could smell one of the burger restaurants frying food each morning, which was not pleasant. Not the hotels fault, but it’s something to bear in...
The staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Great location.  Would definitely stay there again. The hotel appears a little dated, with old, stained carpet, but I believe they are remodeling.
Like this hotel…very good location , walking distance to markets, ABC store across street, couple of minutes to shopping…only drawback would be the pool- rooftop and small
Great value, thoughtful amenities. Old building that’s been renovated. Clean with good service.
Location is great, next to pick up bus location and in middle of city center. Unfortunately the room next to me keep make noise and had police came in final. Great stay and nice room.
This here is a very nice cute boutique hotel. They are cozy, cost effective and the staff are super nice and very accommodating. The water machine is really cool, the snacks in the room aren’t an extra cost, even the valet is cool. My only problem (which has nothing to do with this business) would be parking your car in the lot directly next to them. It belongs to the building next door but they have...

A cozy hotel near the sea. All the staff are wonderful✨✨ The food in the restaurant is also excellent. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again.
The entire hotel staff represents the image of the business and culture of the hotel plus just friendly nice people helping to make your stay unforgettable. I will stay here every time I come back to the island!
Our housekeeper Gemma was a memorable part of our stay...such a lovely person, who did an excellent job. The view from our room was AMAZING! We've never had a better lanai...FABULOUS! 😎
The staff are very courteous and attentive. This is a wonderful area to stay away from the crowds. Pau Tree restaurant has excellent food and our brunch was outstanding.
A lovely hotel and beautiful, lively lobby, Rooms with an ocean view, great staff and housekeeping. I would love to stay here again! The Hau Tree restaurant is wonderful.
The shower water pressure was about the same as in Japan, which was very helpful! However, it was a bit noisy and a bit damp. Also, there were no amenities, so I recommend bringing your own from Japan!

We travel 3-5 times a year from Maui, and love staying at the Best Western Plaza Hotel. The staff is great, my daughter loves the pool, and we love waking up and going down to get breakfast every morning.
The room was quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept very well. The hotel is also close to the airport and offers a free shuttle bus service, which is very convenient for transfers.
It good if you have a morning flight. Since it just 5-10 min with the taxi. Or your can go with airport shuttle. Room is a bit on the older side. And the carpet is dirty a lot of dust. Room is big. bed is comfortable for a night. Room sound proof is not good. Hotel is beside the highway. So until midnight is still very loud.
It was too far from all the things you wanna do and the pool times are a bit ridiculous but I liked it
Great service, professional staff.  If you are looking to be near the airport this is a great choice.  They have an airport shuttle and breakfast. If I’m in HNL again for a quick layover type trip I would stay here again.
OK to stay for a night when you have an early flight out. VERY noisy location and a/c is unbelievably loud. Bed is rather soft. Too expensive for what it is.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Staff are helpful, excellent room and super clean. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Honolulu!
Amazing location, spacious and premium rooms. My all time favorite at Honolulu
9+ Years and Still Our Favorite! We’ve been staying at Hokulani for over 9 years, and it continues to be our all-time favorite hotel in Waikiki. You simply can’t find another place like this—it’s spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The suites are big, well-equipped, and perfect for families. Although the building is old, having been in business for 60 years, the rooms have been thoroughly renovated and are clean and problem-free. Above all, the size is excellent. The pool is also nice. For this price and location, I am completely satisfied. There are not many Japanese guests, but I would recommend it for families.
Very spacious, clean and bright. Location is excellent, it's has many amenities within few minutes reach.
The hotel rooms are old but that's not a problem. You can always get a replacement beach towel or bath towel at the front desk. The water server was only at the front desk, but it would be more convenient if it was available in other places.
Felt special staying at Waikiki’s first high-rise hotel. Thank you Carissa & Shell Ilikai team.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff!
The location is great! I chose an oceanfront room and enjoyed meals overlooking Waikiki Beach, the sunset, and the sound of the moon and waves at night. Aston Circle Wakiki Hotel offers excellent value right across the street from Wakiki beach! Rooms are small but clean and tidy. Wonderful ocean front views and a convenient location close to stores and restaurants make staying at Aston Circle Wakiki Hotel a perfect choice.
The biggest selling point is the unbeatable ocean view. Personally, I feel the ocean view room offers the best value for money. Although it's not a 360-degree view, the ocean view from my balcony is already very good. I always rushed back to the balcony for lunch. The hotel is opposite Waikiki Beach, and the main street is downstairs, so you can get takeout to eat on the balcony. There's a microwave...

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, an easy 5-10 mins walk from Waikiki beach and close to restaurants, shops, and attractions like Diamond Head trail. As a solo female traveller I always felt very safe in the area, including early morning or at night. The hotel is peaceful, with a lovely bar and cosy atmosphere, and things like free daily slushies and snacks at reception, and biscuits...
Facilities: A bit dated. There's a small courtyard on the first floor and a small balcony upstairs. The common area is cozy and has a small swimming pool. Cleanliness: Fair, but there are some insects on the first floor. Environment: Conveniently located near the bustling shopping district.
This was my first trip to Hawaii. The atmosphere was wonderful, giving me a local Hawaiian feel that you don't get at hotels. Front desk is very friendly. We arrived early, had our luggage stored and also checked in earlier . The room is very spacious with beautiful harbor views. We watched sunset in the room, beautiful! The state capitol building and Iolani palace are just two blocks away. Chinatown is within 10 minutes walking distance. Many good restaurants available
The room was really nice and the staff were really nice and respectful. Just had a little odd issue with the toilet but didn’t bother me much.
Based off the reviews, we were worried of the bad things people were saying. We worried about the homeless people issues, of the smell that had been reported but we were very please to see our room was extremely clean and we saw about two homeless people there. The neighborhood is decent, there’s a 7/11 on the same block which is very very convenient. Our room was bigger than expected, no one ever...
It was near Bishop St., so it was a bit far from Waikiki Beach, but there was a bus stop nearby and the staff were all very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and I would definitely stay here again if I go to Hawaii again.
The room condition was good considering the old building. Personally, I think it was because it was an ocean view, so the view from the room was great. The staff was friendly and helped me check in early, which I was very grateful for. There was a Korean mart, 7/11, and Paris Baguette right next to the hotel, so it was convenient. The airport is also easily accessible by taking city bus number 20.

Staff was very knowledgeable and willing to help. The stay includes an entrance ticket for the Honolulu Museum of Art which is worthy to visit.
Special thanks for Kalei as wonderful and kind positive professional to provide the neich services

The staff was friendly and accomodations very comfortable. I wish the restaurant was open more days because it was excellent in all ways.
Always a pleasure staying here! Bright, clean room with amazing coffee. Love the location in Diamond Head- we will be back
We live on O`ahu on the west side, and sometimes events/activities in town run late; the Lotus has become the go-to place for crashing in Honolulu when we also want to swim at Kaimana Beach first thing in the morning, or eat at Arden, or walk Kapiolani Park, and generally avoid the craziness of inner Waikiki. Easy place to return too. Aloha no!

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, there was a discrepancy with the payment. The listing stated that both cash and credit were accepted for on-site payment, but they only accepted credit cards. I had already exchanged currency, so I ended up losing money. I really wish they would provide accurate information.
Located 15mins walk from Waikiki Beach. Rooms are decent size with balcony. Lacking amenities like vanity kit, dental kit plus there was US$35.00 charge on check out for amenities.
Coconut Waikiki hotel was conveniently located in walking distance from Waikiki. Had a very nice view to river and had various amenities available to the guests. We enjoyed our stay and it had exceeded our expectations.
Very good hotel, well located. There are many restaurants nearby.
I really enjoyed staying here! It was so much cheaper than other hotels but safe, spacious, clean, and the best location ever. I really appreciated the service for the complimentary water, coffee, tea, and popcorn downstairs. Never had to wait for the elevator and staff were all so kind and nice!! It's close to the bus stop and quiet, with no noisy restaurants nearby. There's a pool right next to the front desk, where they apparently hold exercise events. Good location, Clean. But limited on parking space, have to park somewhere else
I don’t know why front desk gave us small bed. And the room smells a little bit weird. Some of the stuff are pretty kind and made me feel warm.
It was cheapest hotel for 170$ per night in Honolulu. Room clean and have everything you need. If in normal city can say that price for such place should be 30$, but Hawaii it’s Hawaii. Can recommend this hotel, but not recommend to visit Hawaii - there much better places for less price in the world
Rooms are very old and do not look like photos. Walls have literally no sound barrier. Can hear the neighbours till late at night.
The room is old and has a musty smell as soon as you enter. The towels were clean at first, but some of the bath towels were very dark. The room is not big and the bathroom is small. Very close to the beach Easy access to restaurants shopping area Good for short stay
I was a bit skeptical about the feel of the area and the hotel, but everything worked great. The location is perfect and about a five minute walk from the beach. The room was clean when I entered, and set to 61 degrees F. The room looks a bit dated, but the hot water is superb and the bed comfortable. For the price point, this is an amazing value in Waikiki.
Small old school hotel/motel. Still uses an actual metal key for the door. I got a queen bed room and that is what I got. Tiny room with a queen bed. The problem was the entire room was windows and couldn't open the curtains. Also because it was windows, it was loud. Easy access to Waikiki and shopping center. Very convenient for a stay in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. would stay here again. There are some problems with the elevator system and it is not the best looking property but it does have a good location.
Amazing trip!! View of ocean was panoramic, we got to even see the fireworks on Friday from the condo we booked. Waking up to that view of ocean, mountain, you can clearly even see the sand from Ala Moana beach park! Amazing all around. Pool was nice! Elevator were fine. Check in was easy. It was amazing trip, we could have stayed there forever. Not to mention, apartment was super tidy! It also came...
The location was amazing, overlooking the beaches to Waikiki and Honolulu! The elevator was troublesome because only one was in operation. This made for a timely entrance and exit as the building was nearly 40 floors. Clean and tidy place. The room was amazing with an amazing view overlooking the beaches!
Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. But you can not beat the location. The building felt tired and dated it could use some TLC
Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Well with the price. Bed was very comfortable. Extremely clean rooms and great amenities
This is a condo hotel and if you're not expecting a real hotel it's great. There is no Lobby or front desk service. No one here to give you your key you need to get it from a lockbox. Since I've been here both elevators are working fine and the parking is great. The room is nice and the view is great. You can't beat the location for this cost.
