OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Paradise Hotel, Honolulu1 / 30

Honolulu, 150 Kaʻiulani Ave (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was spacious and the location was good. The only downside was the lack of a kettle.
Good location! Very convenient!
good location, room is clean and nice. but a little bit nosiy since our room is near to a building under construction and the sink is clogged up
Hands down, this hotel is all about location, convenience, and comfort. If you want to be right in the middle of all the Waikīkī buzz, this is it. You’re just minutes from Waikīkī Beach and within easy walking distance to International Market Place, Royal Hawaiian Center, countless restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Everything is so accessible that you can explore easily on foot. The rooms...
The room was just renovated with partial sea view. Excellent pool with jacuzzi. Good location- very close to everything. Much recommended
Basic hotel and basic amenities pool was in shade whole day we were there (Oct) good location to walk everywhere though

Honolulu, 2023 Kalia Road, Waikiki (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The sofa bed was missing a comforter and pillow, which I noticed when I was trying to set it up at night. I contacted them via text message and they sent it to me, but it took more than 30 minutes. I wish they had prepared it properly.
Kitchen fully equipped, but dated. Presented mold around facet and backsplash. Rooms dated and carpet need replaced.
The room was clean. Staff was responsive when we had an issue with one of the televisions. The ocean view was as expected (in a good way).
We had a whole deregulated time. Staff was amazing and the rooms were wonderful!
It was perfect Maybe have a separate trash bin in kitchen for plastic water bottles to recycle We gave our extra food to the local unhoused (maybe provide guest with a telephone number to a local food pantry to leave unused packaged food)
It was a very pleasant trip. Our first time in Waikiki and definitely not our last. The only thing is that the bathroom door doesn’t close or lock.

The room was great, the weather was nice, and the cleaning was prompt and thorough.
The hotel's location is just a few minutes' walk from Waikiki Beach, but this also means it can be quite noisy at night. Overall, the hotel service is good, and the facilities are well-equipped, though the breakfast selection is somewhat limited.
The room was quite spacious, and the bed was indeed the promised 1.5 meters wide. Plus, there was a sofa bed that folds out, so two kids could easily sleep there. The only real downside was the air conditioning; it was incredibly noisy, like a tractor! As for breakfast, it was packed with people, but since it was free, I won't really comment on it. I've attached a picture of the breakfast.
The hotel is very close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk. However, the room was incredibly tiny, barely fitting a bed with just enough space to squeeze by. The bathroom smelled like vomit, and it stank for all three days of our stay. There are only three elevators, so going up and down often involved a long wait. Breakfast was included, but it was served on an outdoor terrace on the 3rd floor, making...
Nice spot close to the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious but the building is a bit old. Pricey a bit. There are other similarly priced hotels that are a better deal for the money in the area. Building is only 20 floors - so ocean/mountain view is kinda limited. Breakfast is just okay. Its mostly the same menu everyday for people with dietary restrictions. Same fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread etc....
Breakfast area is in an open area and birds were dining with the guests, so be on the look out for bird poops. It rained in the morning so some guests got wet and did not even enjoy their breakfast.

The room itself was satisfactory, mainly because it was large and had a good view. However, everything else was poor. 1. Service: Because it's not an international chain, it felt like they hadn't received systematic international staff training. Their service was very free-style, especially the breakfast staff. The person issuing tickets at the door even rolled their eyes. 2. Privacy: We booked two...
I was very satisfied with the room; it was a good value for the price. The ocean view was fantastic, and the hotel's own beach was perfect for sunbathing, though it wasn't particularly clean for swimming. The service was also excellent, and the staff were very nice.
It's a little far from Waikiki, but there's a gentle breeze that you won't find in Waikiki. Restaurants along the beach are convenient, but personally, I prefer the Italian food.
Beautiful hotel with a nice beach. The only problem is that the breakfast buffet has too few varieties.
Extremely comfortable and sunny.
Early check-in was available, and it was quiet and clean, which was great. The pool wasn't crowded, so the kids had a great time.

Amazing place , great location. I really enjoyed and recommend
It was a very stylish hotel, with a great location overlooking Diamond Head. The staff were all kind and welcoming, and I never had a bad experience. I highly recommend it.
The view wasn't what I expected, but it was good enough. I was satisfied. I wondered if early check-in was possible, but I was lucky enough to be able to check in right away. The beach towels were available for unlimited rental, which was really convenient whenever I went to the beach. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
We stayed here for 7 nights, and we had a wonderful time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The view from out room was exactly as it was showed online. The coffee shop is excellent! I signed up for surf lessons through the shop located in the building. The instructors were fun and informative. The location is great. So close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Absolutely wonderful 4-star hotel booked through Costco Travel. Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier. Our room was the city view king with balcony, and it was super clean and spacious. We still got a view of the ocean from a side window! The room came with complimentary beach slippers and cute water bottle. The bathroom came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Room...
My wife and I had debated for years on visiting Hawaii and finally opted to book a trip. We went through Costco because of the amazing deal we could not pass up. We loved that the hotel was right across from the beach and had a view of Diamond Head crater. I have to stay, we were not disappointed one bit! The service attitude is terrible. The front desk staff keeps changing, making communication difficult.
very good service got to checkedin early and hold our bags at checked out. very central location
Great location, situated in the centre, clean room, nice balcony.
The room was decent, and the price was fair. The location is super convenient for getting around. Bus stops for lines 20 and 42 are just about 100 meters away, offering easy access to the airport.
The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting the beach. They offer complimentary coffee before 9 AM, and overall, it provides good value for money. However, the room we were assigned on our last night was street-facing, which made it incredibly noisy at night, and I didn't get a good night's sleep!
Super close to Waikiki Beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Public transport is also very convenient, with bus and trolley stops less than 100 meters from the property. The room was spotless, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The front desk staff speak Japanese and English, but it would be a bonus if they could speak a bit of Chinese too.

The room was decent, but it was advertised as a sea view room, and the reality was a huge letdown – the sea was so far away we could only see a tiny corner of it. The hotel's location isn't too far from the main street, nor is it too close, making it easily walkable. For the area, it offers pretty good value for money.
The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily walk to Ala Moana Center and the Duty Free shop downtown. The hotel environment is also quite good. Highly recommended!
The location was great, very close to the bus stop and a supermarket. The bathroom was a bit small with limited space for toiletries, but the room itself was spacious and clean. Early check-in cost an extra $50, but it's recommended if you arrive in the morning and want to relax in your room right away.
Great hotel with great value if book with trip.com. Hotel is near everywhere in Waikiki and Ala Moana.
It was an enjoyable and smooth check-in at the counter with friendly staffs!
The room was decent, and its location right on the main road made getting around quite convenient.

I was very satisfied with this booking. The room was clean and tidy, and the scenery was beautiful with yachts docked in the beach and harbor. The surrounding facilities were comprehensive, including a large shopping complex nearby.
Best place to stay if you visit HNL! The hotel is quite far away from Waikiki, but its worth it. Parking is relatively cheap since you are paying resort fee. Room has balcony and very big bed! Loved staying here! will def come back. Staff were very helpful and friendly also!
Location is a bit off the busiest part of the beach but we like it quiet enough for us. Good size of rooms with a balcony. Not too many choices of restaurants around but still can make it to the biggest mall in walking distance.
The hotel is in a good location, however, the check-in staff are not very friendly when we checked in!
We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway...

As a family, we found the room quite cramped. The hotel entrance was small, and it felt more like a serviced apartment or an Airbnb than a traditional hotel. The elevator doors closed very quickly, which I even pointed out to other guests. It felt a bit unsafe, especially for children. Overall, it was good and clean.
This was our first stay at this hotel.  We really enjoyed the cleanliness and how quiet it was. We plan to stay here again.
Halepuna is still new and the interior is very beautiful. The rooms are clean and the shower water pressure is excellent. They even bring your luggage to your room, which is great service. Amenities are not provided in the room, but they will bring them if you ask the front desk. I went there because of its reputation. The environment is average. The room with sea view I booked was pretty good. The hotel gave me champagne. Thank you very much. The outdoor pool of the hotel is quite good and worth recommending.
The hotel is clean and sanitary. It is located next to the main street and is very convenient for shopping. Recommended 👍
The best bakery in Hawaii is on the first floor so I could go buy some bread every morning. They also gave me a cute bottle to fill with water.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view isn't great, being surrounded by buildings, but I could see the Royal Hawaiian from my balcony. The pool was always open. Very nice location! Love the design and happy smiles!
The hotel had a very nice design. The front desk staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. The amenities were amazing. Beach sandals, Maui chips, water bottles, etc. Although it's not located on the beach, it's a little cheaper, so I recommend it.
As expected, the room was cute and I was excited as soon as I arrived. There was free coffee and water, and shave ice every day, so it felt like a good deal. I was wondering how the location would compare to hotels along Kalakaua, but when it came to food, Duke's Lane and Waikiki Market were right there, so I thought Kuhio Avenue was more convenient. Except for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat...
The front desk staff was very unfriendly. I saw a female staff member forcefully throw a guest's room card onto the floor during check-out, which left a very bad impression.
A little tired in terms of decor, but very nice and functional for a quick stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and definitely walking distance from the airport (15-20 minutes along a sidewalk the entire way)
Close to airport, very clean, staff are very accommodating. The hotel could do with some renovations. Shuttle bus needs repair
It was a truly wonderful experience at the airport, with such friendly and helpful staff. I was traveling with my three children, and everyone was incredibly kind and supportive.
It was close to the airport BUT, sketchy, dodgy and slept with one eye open. What an awful part of town. Even didn’t feel safe swimming in the hotel pool. Such a shame. It did save us a commute from Honolulu to the airport before our flight.

Courtyard Waikiki Beach, Honolulu1 / 30

Honolulu, 400 Royal Hawaiian Ave (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This was the worse Marriott property I have ever stayed in. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. NONE! The shower was extremely SMALL! Someone who was 250-300 pounds would not have fit in the shower.  Front desk and housekeeping never answered the phone and I called numerous times.  The workers were pleasant but the room I stayed in was sub standard. I will not stay here again.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, target, coffee, and the beach. The rooms have paper thin walls and all night we heard noisy people, trucks outside, roosters, etc, it was LOUD! One of our rooms was super hot the whole day.
Great location. Walkable to beaches and shopping. I’m not much of a “shopper” but for all of you shoppers, there’s plenty of action to be had. The nearby beaches are beautiful. But you already knew that. Dedicated ride share spot to wait for your chariot to whisk you around the island. This property is absolutely doable for your Oahu adventures.
Combined business and pleasure trip. Outstanding service from the staff, both at the front desk and the valet guys. Location is fine: easy walk to all the glitz and hustle and bustle of Waikiki (if that is what you are looking for). Pool is surprisingly nice and quiet, even though it's next to the parking lot and there is no view. As for the rooms, I can only comment on our room: bed was comfortable...

Great stay at the Hyatt Centric. Location was excellent. Only negative was the extensive “resort fee” ad it was difficult to justify the cost for the services provided

Location is great, it's walkable to restaurants and shops. Room is clean. There are 2 water bottles in the room and we can refill water next to the front for free.
Great location, easy to access foods, shopping and entertainment. Short walk to Waikiki Beach. 2 things I dislike about - i was given a room with no desk, charging my phone and watch is just troublesome. There are events held by the pool, and there are relatively few children around, so adults can relax and enjoy a drink. I was a little disappointed that there were no slippers as amenities, but the bathrobes had an original design and I was in a good mood. The room was spacious enough and had a really cute design, so I was very satisfied.
Not recommended for families, not a typical family hotel. It is small and boutique as advertised. Only one lift working during our visit and used by everyone including household staff, long waits and usually full. They appear to have strict rules and did not feel comfortable walking freely around the hotel, always felt like we were being watched. I would not stay here again and would not recommend...
It's a nice place; the facilities are a bit retro, but the prices aren't cheap. It's not far from the beach, but you have to walk a few blocks. There's a white flowering tree outside, and behind it leads to a food street with pockbowl and other delicious options. There are also restaurants downstairs, and the pockbowl there is quite good.
Lower-floor king-size bed rooms are not recommended; they offer no view, the facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The location is inconvenient; it's 7-8 minutes from the main shopping mall and 15 minutes from the beach. If you absolutely must book, a high-floor room with a view is recommended.
A welcome drink is provided, and the high-floor rooms offer river and mountain views. The hotel facilities are basic and somewhat old, and it's far from the beach and shopping malls. The bedding was rather dirty.
The hotel has over the last couple of years been refurbished by new owners. The pool area is now better maintained and has dedicated staff who are present at all times. The pool is large snd nicely situated. The point of difference is the shade provided by numerous umbrellas and some shade trees. There is also bar and food service to your deckchair. Good location within the city area.
Excellent and friendly service.
While the price is on the cheaper side, the facilities are very outdated, so I wouldn't recommend it for family travelers. There were a lot of young Korean tour groups, which made it noisy. However, the cleaning staff were very friendly and kept the rooms spotlessly clean.
The location and value for money were excellent! While the cleaning wasn't super thorough, I was still very satisfied! Oh, and just a heads up, the showerhead here is fixed.
Had a solo day trip and wanted to try Hotel La Croix because they had a penthouse room for under $300.  The front desk staff were helpful and very eager and upbeat in a friendly way compared to other places where it seemed more forced or fake.  Skyline Penthouse only had a city view and it was decent sized for the price. The airport shuttle is right outside, making transportation very convenient.
Poor value for money, not recommended for travelers with a generous budget. The hotel's overall facilities are quite basic, with no extra value-added services, falling far short of the standards of similar-tiered hotels domestically. The stay experience didn't meet expectations.
An old hotel but it feels very Hawaiian! Very friendly staff and it's really very clean. The shower pressure is borderline acceptable. Great laundry facilities (pay by contactless card) and the water refill machine was a nice touch. The parking is $30 a day and finding a space can be tough but this seems standard in this location.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location in the Waikiki Beach area, making it incredibly convenient for the beach, shopping, and dining. However, the hotel itself is a bit dated, and because of the carpeting in the rooms, there's an undeniable stale smell. If you're looking for a sparkling clean environment, this might not be the best fit.
Housekeeping very Honest thank you
So close to Waikiki beach. Cost efficient!
It was clean, and the bathroom shower was functional, which was nice. However, when I asked for a can opener, they just brought me one. The pool was out of the sun and very cold, so no one was in it. It's a three-minute walk to Kuhio Beach, but it's surrounded by hotels, so you only get a city view. The bus stop is a bit of a walk away, but it was a good value hotel.

We had a 2 bedroom which was spacious. I have stayed in the one bedrooms before and they are really tight if you have 3 people. But the 2 bedroom was very spacious even though we were 5 people and had to use the sleeper sofa. The location is the best if you want to go shopping, out to eat or walk on the beach. One bedroom was rather small for the 3 of us but we made it work. The resort location was excellent. And it was very clean. We took advantage of a lei making class and an ukelele lesson, both offered by the resort. I would stay there again. The employees were also excellent. It all made for a very good vacation.
Great hotel! Everyone that we encounter we had with employees was positive and friendly! Would gladly stay here again!
Excellent location, but unfortunately no view for us as resort guests. We looked into a high rise carpark next door which was a wind tunnel creating siren type noises keeping you awake throughout the night. Took me many nights to work out what the siren sound was.

It is an older hotel and the rooms need a major update, some of the rooms look like they are from the 1990s minus the flat screen test. Our favorite place to stay on Waikiki. The Valet Parking is the best. Location is 1/2 block to the ocean through or in front of the Sheraton Hotel. The rooms are well appointed. Full kitchen with all the basics, plus extras you can borrow from Housekeeping, like a rice cooker, air fryer or blender. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
If I could give 3.5 stars, I would — but Google only allows full stars. All three stars are for location and staff, which are truly top tier. First, the good: The location is unbeatable. You’re right in the heart of Waikīkī — across the street from Halekulani and Outrigger, steps from the beach, next to ABC (which is everywhere), and right by Roy’s. You can literally walk across the street to Orchids...
