The room itself was satisfactory, mainly because it was large and had a good view. However, everything else was poor.
1. Service: Because it's not an international chain, it felt like they hadn't received systematic international staff training. Their service was very free-style, especially the breakfast staff. The person issuing tickets at the door even rolled their eyes.
2. Privacy: We booked two...
I was very satisfied with the room; it was a good value for the price. The ocean view was fantastic, and the hotel's own beach was perfect for sunbathing, though it wasn't particularly clean for swimming.
The service was also excellent, and the staff were very nice.
It's a little far from Waikiki, but there's a gentle breeze that you won't find in Waikiki. Restaurants along the beach are convenient, but personally, I prefer the Italian food.
Beautiful hotel with a nice beach. The only problem is that the breakfast buffet has too few varieties.
Extremely comfortable and sunny.
Early check-in was available, and it was quiet and clean, which was great. The pool wasn't crowded, so the kids had a great time.

Had some hiccups due to lack of pool and hot tub but rest was good. We had diamond head view which made the room extra special
My room faced the mountains, but the view was open enough to see both the hills and a bit of the Ala Wai canal, so I had no complaints. The room was clean and bright, the kitchen was easy to use, and plenty of bath towels were provided, which made my stay very comfortable.
I stayed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Over the weekend, I enjoyed quiet breakfasts on the balcony, but on Monday,...
Dear Customer Service,
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering my positive visit a few years ago.
To begin, I had to request housekeeping after three days, only to be told, “Oh, I see you have cleaning, so I’ll add you to the housekeeping list.” Despite that, the room was never vacuumed...
This hotel is in a great location! Literally a block away from Waikiki beach, 15 min walk from Diamond Head, and a mile walk to Leonard's Bakery! The only downside is you have to pay a daily fee to use the parking garage, which since I was staying in the hotel I though would be included, they will also get you with a daily fee if the pool is open. The room was clean and had shampoos and lotions provided...
I want to give a big shout out to two very exceptional ladies at the Waikiki Banyan hotel; Manager, Michelle and Kelly at the front desk. Thank you again for your kindness while we were vacationing there in April. I want to express my gratitude to both of you for showing “Aloha” and helping me while I was visiting your beautiful island. 😊
Amazing place. I traveled solo with my 2yo and it was a blast. Great location, we had a view looking at diamond head. loved it. the playground is great. the elevators are annoying but no problem except one day, we had to walk and I carried my stroller down 11 flights of stairs hahah

The 2 bed room suite was spacious and comfortable. We were a family of 5 and loved the place a lot. The balcony view was great ( partial ocean views). The interiors looked a lot better in person than photos. Washer and dryer was a big plus. Kids loved the pools. Over all excellent experience! Would love to come again.
It was difficult to secure a reservation, as there weren't many rooms available.
The staff were all friendly, and the surroundings were pleasant, a bit different from the bustling Waikiki area.
I liked it, so next time I visit Hawaii, I'll stay at the Hilton Village.
Traveled with my 2 younger kids and we had an amazing time! Loved the atmosphere, very convenient with a food marketplace downstairs if you want to cook . The shopping centers and restaurants literally 5 mins away. Hardly used the pool because I rented a car and traveled and explored all the beaches. We enjoyed the beautiful beach. The room was excellent! Staff were very friendly. Will be coming back...
Top to bottom excellente…they know how represent themselves as an employees well trained n definitely we are coming back. Our first time n we love supporting our locals more power n continue what is aloha n ohana means yo us❤️❤️❤️
Everything was so perfect! The staff was SO KIND! Service was so fast and easy, the hotel was BEAUTIFUL and the room was gorgeous! Me and my family had the best time! Definitely coming back!
Overall, the hotel is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are helpful, and the location is excellent.

Amazing place , great location. I really enjoyed and recommend
It was a very stylish hotel, with a great location overlooking Diamond Head. The staff were all kind and welcoming, and I never had a bad experience. I highly recommend it.
The view wasn't what I expected, but it was good enough. I was satisfied. I wondered if early check-in was possible, but I was lucky enough to be able to check in right away. The beach towels were available for unlimited rental, which was really convenient whenever I went to the beach. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
We stayed here for 7 nights, and we had a wonderful time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The view from out room was exactly as it was showed online. The coffee shop is excellent! I signed up for surf lessons through the shop located in the building. The instructors were fun and informative. The location is great. So close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Absolutely wonderful 4-star hotel booked through Costco Travel. Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier. Our room was the city view king with balcony, and it was super clean and spacious. We still got a view of the ocean from a side window!
The room came with complimentary beach slippers and cute water bottle. The bathroom came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Room...
My wife and I had debated for years on visiting Hawaii and finally opted to book a trip. We went through Costco because of the amazing deal we could not pass up. The service attitude is terrible. The front desk staff keeps changing, making communication difficult.
very good service got to checkedin early and hold our bags at checked out. very central location
Great location, situated in the centre, clean room, nice balcony.
The room was decent, and the price was fair. The location is super convenient for getting around. Bus stops for lines 20 and 42 are just about 100 meters away, offering easy access to the airport.
The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting the beach. They offer complimentary coffee before 9 AM, and overall, it provides good value for money. However, the room we were assigned on our last night was street-facing, which made it incredibly noisy at night, and I didn't get a good night's sleep!
Super close to Waikiki Beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Public transport is also very convenient, with bus and trolley stops less than 100 meters from the property. The room was spotless, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The front desk staff speak Japanese and English, but it would be a bonus if they could speak a bit of Chinese too.

The room was decent, but it was advertised as a sea view room, and the reality was a huge letdown – the sea was so far away we could only see a tiny corner of it. The hotel's location isn't too far from the main street, nor is it too close, making it easily walkable. For the area, it offers pretty good value for money.
The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily walk to Ala Moana Center and the Duty Free shop downtown. The hotel environment is also quite good. Highly recommended!
The location was great, very close to the bus stop and a supermarket. The bathroom was a bit small with limited space for toiletries, but the room itself was spacious and clean. Early check-in cost an extra $50, but it's recommended if you arrive in the morning and want to relax in your room right away.
Great hotel with great value if book with trip.com. Hotel is near everywhere in Waikiki and Ala Moana.
It was an enjoyable and smooth check-in at the counter with friendly staffs!

I was very satisfied with this booking. The room was clean and tidy, and the scenery was beautiful with yachts docked in the beach and harbor. The surrounding facilities were comprehensive, including a large shopping complex nearby.
Best place to stay if you visit HNL! The hotel is quite far away from Waikiki, but its worth it. Parking is relatively cheap since you are paying resort fee. Room has balcony and very big bed! Loved staying here! will def come back.
Staff were very helpful and friendly also!
Location is a bit off the busiest part of the beach but we like it quiet enough for us. Good size of rooms with a balcony. Not too many choices of restaurants around but still can make it to the biggest mall in walking distance.
The hotel is in a good location, however, the check-in staff are not very friendly when we checked in!
We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience.
First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway...
The location is far from the center but not too far from the mall , they gave us room on 3rd floor quite noisy , can not open the window, too noisy , service was just short of average but many people willing to sell you tour packages

As a family, we found the room quite cramped. The hotel entrance was small, and it felt more like a serviced apartment or an Airbnb than a traditional hotel.
The elevator doors closed very quickly, which I even pointed out to other guests. It felt a bit unsafe, especially for children.
Overall, it was good and clean.
This was our first stay at this hotel. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and how quiet it was. We plan to stay here again.
Halepuna is still new and the interior is very beautiful.
The rooms are clean and the shower water pressure is excellent. They even bring your luggage to your room, which is great service.
Amenities are not provided in the room, but they will bring them if you ask the front desk. The location is behind the Sheraton, Royal Hawaiian Center, and Royal Hawaiian Hotel, so it's not very noticeable, but it...
I went there because of its reputation. The environment is average. The room with sea view I booked was pretty good. The hotel gave me champagne. Thank you very much. The outdoor pool of the hotel is quite good and worth recommending.
The hotel is clean and sanitary. It is located next to the main street and is very convenient for shopping. Recommended 👍
The best bakery in Hawaii is on the first floor so I could go buy some bread every morning. They also gave me a cute bottle to fill with water.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view isn't great, being surrounded by buildings, but I could see the Royal Hawaiian from my balcony.

The nearest hotel to airport. Hotel is clean . However need to pay tax .
Took 40 mins for the shuttle to arrive, was given breakfast voucher but left too early the next morning.
WIFI was very unstable, which was incredibly frustrating.
The staff members were very nice, the room was old but very clean.
Ok for a sleep before you go to te airport next day.
Except for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat...
The front desk staff was very unfriendly. I saw a female staff member forcefully throw a guest's room card onto the floor during check-out, which left a very bad impression.
A little tired in terms of decor, but very nice and functional for a quick stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and definitely walking distance from the airport (15-20 minutes along a sidewalk the entire way)

The room was large, comfortable, and very clean, with a balcony and a kitchen. The utensils were spotless, which was great. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the service staff are friendly and hospitable. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast was just average and not very varied.
We got the Penthouse Suite which ofcourse it was magnificent! The view was breath taking, even there were a little incident happened on the rooftop but the staff managed it pretty well with what happened. Service was top notch! Will be back for sure
Pros: The room was spacious and bright, and very clean. The staff were friendly. The facilities were complete. The bedding was comfortable. The balcony was lovely. The balcony's glass door provided good sound insulation.
Cons: The window overlooked low-level ventilation facilities, which generated a lot of noise. Opening the door to the balcony also let in a lot of noise, so it had to be kept closed...
Location: The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get to the beach or other attractions. The valet service was also very good.

Had a very satisfying stay. The hotel has a Japanese-style ambiance, and the kitchen facilities are fully equipped. The bathroom is also quite spacious. It's also close to the beach. There's a woman at the hotel lobby who speaks Chinese, which made communication smooth. The service was warm and welcoming. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
The two bedrooms with private bathrooms, plus a small third bedroom, offered plenty of space. The two balconies had great views, and we even saw a fireworks show on the beach at night. Some floors of the hotel were under renovation, so there was occasional construction noise in the evenings. The Japanese breakfast options were a nice touch. Overall, we were very satisfied. This was the worse Marriott property I have ever stayed in. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. NONE! The shower was extremely SMALL! Someone who was 250-300 pounds would not have fit in the shower.
Front desk and housekeeping never answered the phone and I called numerous times.
The workers were pleasant but the room I stayed in was sub standard. I will not stay here again.
I went into this reservation with low expectations cause previous reviews have been so bad. Overall, it was fine, but the staff at the front desk did seem not overly excited to help anybody. We had to wait two hours to check in when we got there because something was wrong with the “system“. We were put in the second tower, which only had one elevator and so there was always a long wait for the elevator...
Overall very good hotel and stay, great location perfect for families or those on vacation.
Lotta costs but comes with the territory since it’s Hawaii resort costs parking etc can’t really blame the hotel comes with travel to Hawaii similar to Vegas. They make all their money off travel tourism etc but loved our room, the pool, service etc there was a piece of gum on our carpet when we got in that...
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, target, coffee, and the beach. The rooms have paper thin walls and all night we heard noisy people, trucks outside, roosters, etc, it was LOUD! One of our rooms was super hot the whole day.
Great location. Walkable to beaches and shopping. I’m not much of a “shopper” but for all of you shoppers, there’s plenty of action to be had. The nearby beaches are beautiful. But you already knew that. Dedicated ride share spot to wait for your chariot to whisk you around the island. This property is absolutely doable for your Oahu adventures.
Combined business and pleasure trip. Outstanding service from the staff, both at the front desk and the valet guys. Location is fine: easy walk to all the glitz and hustle and bustle of Waikiki (if that is what you are looking for). Pool is surprisingly nice and quiet, even though it's next to the parking lot and there is no view. As for the rooms, I can only comment on our room: bed was comfortable...

Great stay at the Hyatt Centric. Location was excellent. Only negative was the extensive “resort fee” ad it was difficult to justify the cost for the services provided

Location is great, it's walkable to restaurants and shops. Room is clean. There are 2 water bottles in the room and we can refill water next to the front for free.
Great location, easy to access foods, shopping and entertainment. Short walk to Waikiki Beach. 2 things I dislike about - i was given a room with no desk, charging my phone and watch is just troublesome. It was SO nice experience to stay! The pool was really pretty and chill, also they gave one free drinks!
The room was also cozy and clean, taking bath after swimming makes me feel so relaxed. I want to recommend!
Great place to stay with a great staff, pool, bar, and restaurant. Lobby was beautiful also. Within walking distance of everything.
There are events held by the pool, and there are relatively few children around, so adults can relax and enjoy a drink.
I was a little disappointed that there were no slippers as amenities, but the bathrobes had an original design and I was in a good mood.
The room was spacious enough and had a really cute design, so I was very satisfied.
Not recommended for families, not a typical family hotel. It is small and boutique as advertised. Only one lift working during our visit and used by everyone including household staff, long waits and usually full.
They appear to have strict rules and did not feel comfortable walking freely around the hotel, always felt like we were being watched.
I would not stay here again and would not recommend...
It's a nice place; the facilities are a bit retro, but the prices aren't cheap. It's not far from the beach, but you have to walk a few blocks. There's a white flowering tree outside, and behind it leads to a food street with pockbowl and other delicious options. There are also restaurants downstairs, and the pockbowl there is quite good.
Lower-floor king-size bed rooms are not recommended; they offer no view, the facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The location is inconvenient; it's 7-8 minutes from the main shopping mall and 15 minutes from the beach. If you absolutely must book, a high-floor room with a view is recommended.

The location is pretty good, about a 10-15 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The mattress was a bit soft, but the other services and cleanliness were fine. Overall, it offered satisfactory value for money. The only downside is that parking was quite expensive.
The staff in this hotel are very friendly and accommodating. Near to the beach and shopping too
The hotel's location is super convenient, with a Waikiki Trolley stop right in front. Despite the affordable price, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and even accommodated our last-minute request to extend our stay. I'd definitely want to stay here again.
The staff were all so kind and wonderful. The power went out at night, but they handled it without any fuss, which I really appreciated. It's also within walking distance to the beach, and having the ABC Store inside the building was a plus.
The service was great and the location was convenient. Considering the affordable price, it's pretty good if you don't compare it to beachfront hotels. It's a good choice for a stay the day before your flight off the island. Excellent value for money!

The airport shuttle is right outside, making transportation very convenient.
Poor value for money, not recommended for travelers with a generous budget. The hotel's overall facilities are quite basic, with no extra value-added services, falling far short of the standards of similar-tiered hotels domestically. The stay experience didn't meet expectations.
An old hotel but it feels very Hawaiian! Very friendly staff and it's really very clean. The shower pressure is borderline acceptable.
Great laundry facilities (pay by contactless card) and the water refill machine was a nice touch.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location in the Waikiki Beach area, making it incredibly convenient for the beach, shopping, and dining. However, the hotel itself is a bit dated, and because of the carpeting in the rooms, there's an undeniable stale smell. If you're looking for a sparkling clean environment, this might not be the best fit.
Housekeeping very Honest thank you
So close to Waikiki beach. Cost efficient!
It was clean, and the bathroom shower was functional, which was nice. However, when I asked for a can opener, they just brought me one. The pool was out of the sun and very cold, so no one was in it. It's a three-minute walk to Kuhio Beach, but it's surrounded by hotels, so you only get a city view. The bus stop is a bit of a walk away, but it was a good value hotel.

Hotel is situated in one of the most convenient locations in Honolulu.
They offered free towel rentals, which we used a lot! Mahalo! The bed was also big and comfortable. Having two key cards was very convenient.
I stayed for five days and four nights, and the air conditioning was incredibly loud at night, like a bomber, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also, if you want them to clean your room, it costs $25 USD each time. I'd advise anyone who is sensitive to noise at night to avoid this hotel.
The hotel is located in a bustling area of downtown Honolulu, very close to commercial centers like Walmart and Macy's, just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the service attitude is quite good.
100% budget hotel but the main issue I had was the hidden fees. I ended up paying almost double when I checked in. Seems really dishonest to charge a low amount through the app and then charged again when you check in.
