I was there with family for a family party… great place to stay,
Clean & Comfortable major plus . You don’t find too many places where you feel like home.
Staff were amazing and it shows that staying here means a lot .
Plenty of parking, they just painted these rooms they look wonderful,clean crisp.
Vicki always was there to answer any question about directions or a place to eat after Resturant closed.. she knew a lot of good places and great directions… who needs google maps we had Vicki. Thank you for a great stay… see you again in September

This is not the Ritz. But it is affordable, close to an L stop, close to Loyola and on a main road so it’s easy to find. They do not offer maid service during your stay, we saw no breakfast (we brought granola bars so I wasn’t really looking) and the rooms are showing their age. But, they are clean, the hotel staff are very nice and there is free secure parking. At this price what more can you ask for? We will stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. As a few mentioned in other reviews, there is a smell of old or damp carpet though that might just be on one floor. The rooms and facility were quite clean, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and we'd stay here again. I do want to emphasize this isn't a 4 star hotel. I'm giving it 4 google stars because for the price, it was good.

My flight was delayed twice and ultimately cancelled. Inturn I was unable to reach my destination. The super8 manager dodged my calls and refused to honor Expedia's zero fee cancellation policy. Think twice about paying upfront with this location.

Super 8 allowed me to check in extremely late after a mix up with our other accommodation. The room was clean and there was free breakfast in the morning. Decent place.

Brand new. Very nice. Restaurant next door. Not on all GPS devices. My bed is a nice and firm pillow-top type. There is a modem in each room so the WiFi is great. Fridge, microwave, and a large granite counter in bathroom.

Looks like a shady place at first, but once we checked out the neighborhood and room, it wasn't bad at all. Better than some places surrounding Chicago for the same price, if not more...best part about it was that parking is free, unlike some of the hotels in downtown. That was another perk, it was close, yet far enough from downtown, that is within minutes from the hotel.
There was a nice spot/beach close by for our kids to put their feet in the water and take awesome pics of Lake Michigan. All in all the hotel is convenient and rooms were clean and updated. It is an older building, but served its purpose for the price.

A nice place for a motel but a bit pricey to stay for a night. It was not worth the price for a two bed room. For that amount I could have stayed at a Hilton not a Super 8

The management at this hotel is rude and unprofessional. Planned a trip to see a cubs game and it got postponed. No need for the room so we let them know in plenty of time but could not get a refund even though we never even checked into the room. Now I know why the parking lot was empty. Regardless of policy they need to learn how to treat customers. Probably for the best we didn't stay there. Based on the looks alone it was pretty creepy and run down. Next trip to Chicago i will look for a real hotel. Avoid this hotel!!
