Best Western Grant Park Hotel in Chicago

Why no love for the exterior? From outside it looks like the place isn't even open. Pity because the food was delicious.

We went here in February 2017. After hearing rave reviews I was expecting a little better. The white chocolate caramel pretzel pancakes weren't hot and the pretzel made them pretty hard. The French toast was awesome and the egg breakfast was pretty standard! I'd give it another go.

The food at this bongo room is great!! Coffee and tea selections are really good. They would do well if they sold coffee to go. I just hate they don’t have alcohol.

Best pizza taste ever! May take long, but totally worth it. They give you the option to order your food while you are waiting, which could save you about half an hour if you are in a rush. Very friendly and helpful staff, plus a warm and enjoyable environment. The suggested servings are real BTW! If it's your first time, do not miss the classic and Lou deep dish.

Such a great experience with very nice people and fresh food.
We came from Canada and were looking to try the deep dish pizza in Chicago. We ordered a pizza and a salad. Both were fantastic.

This was my first ever deep dish pizza experience... and it was a good one. Good service with good advice on portion size (a small IS enough for two hungry guys). The pizza was delicious and there's a fairly good selection of beers. There isn't much of an ambience though - decor is a bit dull and there was sport on TV.

Always very crowded around dinnertime and they do not take over-the-phone reservations - one of the staff was very blunt about that. However, I don't mind because the restaurant was likely very busy when we called. The wait is always long - I have often been somewhere in the 20s for my waiting number, so the wait is usually 40-60 minutes. But it is totally worth it for the food!
If you are new to Lou's and you go at a crowded time, it can be confusing how to get started. You will want to go to the host podium first and set up your party. Then the host will give you a menu, and you will move to the cashiers to place your order. You will get a waiting number, and if you give your phone number, you will get very helpful text alerts or an app to check your place in line! Be sure to be in the restaurant when it's very close to your turn or you will miss your reservation getting called.
Anyway, Lou Malnati's pizza is fantastic. I love how cheesy it is! I was skeptical about deep dish pizza when I moved to Chicago for school, but Lou's pizza is the best!

If you have never had Chicago style deep dish pizza, you have to try Lou Malnati's! Service was great! We were seated right away and our waiter was very prompt. Individual pizza looks tiny when they bring it out but looks are deceiving, this little pizza is plenty for one person to eat. This is a great location with great service.
