The hotel is in a good position and facing one of the most beautiful avenue of Chicago. Regarding my experience, the room was nice and clean. The view from the windows was nice. The staff was polite and available. The main disappointing point was the internet connection which was not working well. I would consider to stay again on this hotel but if you need a good internet connection for working this could not be the right choice.

I'd like to recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Chicago for a while. It's perfect, and the service is wonderful, all very nice and firendly.
The location is very convenient, and the place itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay

We stayed at the Warwick Allerton during our Chicago visit. 2 adults and 6 children. The hotel was in a fantastic location on the magnificent mile, and a short walk to Navy Pier. The hotel was clean and staff gave us free bottled water. The only negative was paying $70 for parking. It was valet and we expected to pay a lot in the city but not having access to our car was a bummer!

The hotel’s best value lies in the location — 3 min to Starbucks Roastery, ~ 15/20 min walk to the magnificent mile, and close to subway stations.

But lacking certain facilities which I consider necessary to ensure safety of solo travellers (access to different floors only by room keys, and a safe). Also the bed in the room was close to the door, so I could hear the elevator bells and people’s conversations in hallway.

For housekeeping, overall the room was well-cleaned. However, the housekeeping staff still knocked on the door trying to come in the room, when I hung up the “Do Not Disturb” sign.

Overall, good hotel for a short stay.

Every aspect of staying here was excellent. I was in town for a convention and they allowed me to ship my inventory ahead of time to store it there. There was never any attitude or hesitation about helping me, and every employee I spoke to was very friendly. Great location on Michigan Ave made it easy to get around. When staying in Chicago, this will be my first choice every time.

I got a great room - temperature adjusted nicely with the wall unit, tv was fine, bathroom was super clean and the bed was sharp looking. I loved the bar on the level with the Lobby and loved the little cafe in the morning. I was only a little disappointed in the pillows, which was a nitpick. Only major disappointment was the door linking to the adjoining room must have not been very soundproof - the people next door to me were making noise at 3-4-5 in the morning.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this hotel. We had asked in advance about any possible special touches for the occasion, but were told this was handled by management and would be addressed after the weekend, despite our stay running from Thursday to Monday. Unfortunately, nothing was arranged. The (paid) breakfast was also limited, with only one option available out of the five or six listed. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and our room was more spacious than during a previous stay. However, cleanliness could be slightly improved. Overall, the price is reasonable and I would still recommend the hotel, but it’s not without its shortcomings, and the lack of attention to our honeymoon was particularly disappointing.

Attended a trade show in March. The hotel offered great value for money and even had a free shuttle bus to the exhibition. It's located right next to the Magnificent Mile, making it perfect for shopping 🛍️. You can also visit the largest Starbucks and Harry Potter next door. Chicago 360 is also very close by. We even got to experience the lively atmosphere of St. Patrick's Day. The location is excellent! There's also a Chinese restaurant nearby, which is perfect for satisfying a Chinese palate, and a famous deep-dish pizza spot not too far away.

Considering US prices, this room rate is really cheap. There's an unavoidable resort fee of $29.35 USD (including tax) charged daily. So, you should definitely make full use of the in-room coffee machine and the gym upstairs (though I didn't use either, even though the coffee was Starbucks – I just went across the street for my Starbucks fix). At check-in, they put a hold on my credit card for a deposit, the exact amount of which I wasn't sure of. Based on my credit card notification, it seemed to be roughly the same amount as the total resort fees for my stay, rather than the standard $100 per day. (I asked, and they genuinely don't accept cash for the deposit, so no need to exchange too much cash; I just used my card for everything). You do have to go to the front desk daily for bottled water. But I thought the front desk staff were all really nice! Especially one slightly older but very elegant Caucasian gentleman. That's because I kept pestering them about the deposit amount and then, at check-out, I kept asking for a receipt for it, haha. In reality, the amount they put a hold on at check-in isn't actually charged. They only charge you after check-out for the resort fees multiplied by the number of days. You can still ask for a breakdown, and it's just $25 + $4.35 per day. No need to worry about waiting for a deposit refund to show up on your bank statement. Also, storing luggage on the first floor costs $2 per piece.

The hairdryer is wall-mounted, but it's not like those weak ones; it's quite powerful enough. The showerhead is also fixed, not a handheld one, which made washing a bit difficult. The sink faucet for hot and cold water is very responsive; for someone from a warmer Asian country who was nearly frozen outdoors, it was great not to be surprised by the water temperature from the sink.

The pizza was alright, but not everything it was tooted to be. I had a thin crust pizza with hot sausage. The toppings were great, a little too much cheese for my liking though. My pie had peppers on it, which saved the day. What lost it for me was the crust. The crust wasn't very flavorful and tasted a bit too greasy. Perhaps I'm picky, but I like a light crust where you taste the bread not just the day used to cook it. Still searching for that famous Chicago pie...

Hands down best pizza I have ever had! I loved the style of the restaurant and got some great Chicago style deep dish. I got the three meat pizza and all the ingredients used were perfect. The only downside is that the waiter only took our order and never checked back with us so couldn't order drinks. The only way this could be better is adding some butter or flavor to the crust. The crust was cooked perfectly though (not too hard or soft) so it wasn't too big of a deal.

Always the best in Chicago deep dish pizza! I much prefer this location to the newer one. Come early or you'll be waiting in a long line. Parking can be difficult and/or expensive if you're not lucky enough to find a close spot on the street. Outdoor seating is nice during good weather. The pizza and atmosphere is well worth the inconveniences of parking and a wait.

The atmosphere is great and happy hour menu is awesome but this pizza was over rated. The deep dish pizza was smothered in marinara sauce so much I couldn't taste any of my toppings. The pizza crust was hard and extra crispy like a pie instead of soft and doughy like a regular deep dish pizza. I didn't get to try the regular pizza and maybe I had different expectations than what it what it really is, but I won't be going back to this pizza place.

It's always amazing how bad service can really ruin a dining experience. I have nothing but compliments on the food. Great pizza! But to have consistency on something as simple as getting a drink refill left allot to be desired. I found myself having to walk up to the area where they serve the drinks to ask for a refill. That wasn't the worst part. Worse part was after asking one of the guys for a refill it was done in such a manner as if he was doing me a favor. Maybe I'll try a different Ginos location next year when i visit Chicago again and hope that the management there is more selective in their hiring. Great food experience bad service experience.

I was in Chi for couple days and just had to try deep dish pizza. Came in right before dinner time and was able to grab a seat at the bar. The place got supper packed right after I came in, the line was huge, looked like at least an hour wait for the end of the line people. This place is sure popular amongst tourists and locals. Food was delicious, drinks are great, prices are average. Yay to coming at the right time and was able to try true Chicago deep dish pizza!!! ?

Nice space, warm and pizza smells delicious. I got a booth and they are really comfy. Ordered veggie deep dish pizza. Takes 45 mins to cook so hard some Parmesan fries (really good). Pizza tasted good the crust is think if you like that.
I think I’m just used to eating more Italian thin crust pizzas. Really filling though! Thanks guys. (Sorry I didn’t take photos, ate pizza real quick)

Waited about an hour or so just to be seated so please note that it gets ridiculously busy during prime times, especially if it's tourist season. After getting seated, we ordered our food and it came after about half an hour. We only ordered 2 small 4-sliced deep dish pizza's and honestly, they were just okay to me. I wouldn't say pizza is my go-to when it comes to figuring out what to eat when heading out, and I wouldn't say deep dish is exactly my favourite either or something I was immediately impressed with anyhow, but overall it was an interesting experience I can finally say I had and probably would not recommend this place during busy times. I saw other people waiting in despair for their food and our server didn't update us on the wait times even though she would pass by numerous times.

My family loved this place. I don't know what kind of person who hasn't heard of Giordano's before, but if you haven't - get over here and try some deep dish pizza.

Now, deep dish/Chicago style isn't my favorite, but I always stop here every time I am near, it is that good. I think they have them in the Twin Cities now where I live but to me it has to be in Chicago.

Great service, Pizza was excellent. Will be back next time I am in town.

It was Christmas Eve when I visited and the restaurant was supposed to close at 11pm.. I was there around 8:30 and the staff at front desk says the order will take 2 hours to get it ready.. when I looked around half of the restaurant had empty tables.. it just felt like the staff don’t want us to come in and I guess they were saying same to everyone just so to close the restaurant before time.. I am adding this review just so management is aware of what staff is doing there.. I am an Michigan resident and visiting Giordano’s was my in my bucket list.. but I guess I no more feel like going there.. to maintain the reputation they need to get better..

During night class these guys are never busy - they make my order very fast every time.

I rarely give a bad review, but today unfortunately I was not met with the typical professionalism I'm used to...
As I stood in line with 10+ ppl, while the Baristas discuss their disrespect if they joined the military and the military made them do something that they didnt want to do and about other things, as a woman stated 6Xs, "NO WHIP", before the Baristas acknowledged her and while spraying whip in her order... but if he was paying attention he would have heard her.
Then the supervisor interrupts the Baristas by asking very loudly, if he wanted his tips and he asking how much, she states $30, he then walks to her and stops what he is doing and now, the whole team is huddled to discuss the tips and other things, while 10 ppl are waiting on an order and 5+ ppl are in line... I asked that they service the customers waiting... I received and was met with an unprofessional reaction from the Baristas and staff..."the machines make the coffee", "the coffee makes itself", "the coffee is ready", then why don't we (10ppl) don't have our orders? And the supervisor and 4 other staff members stood around to further discuss my dissatisfaction with the level of unprofessionalism. Where is customer service.
05.10.2017 Taylor
Fast service and friendly staff. Definitely gets super busy at peak times because it's on the Northwestern Campus.
25.08.2017 Jonathan
The customer service at this location has really started to go downhill recently. Baristas are disinterested and sometimes outright rude. coffee is still standard Starbucks, but I would rather walk a block or two to a different location
07.07.2017 Veronica
Worst customer service. I get that this location gets busy but you work in customer service. Plus there is always an issue with mobile ordering and them forgetting items in your order. Only reason I go to this location is because of how close it is.
