A very special thank you to Tabitha, who went above and beyond to take care of us during our visit. She made me feel like family — warm, welcoming, and truly attentive to every detail
It’s rare to find that level of genuine hospitality, and it made all the difference. Thank you, Tabitha, and the whole team for making our stay so memorable
Valet parked the car and didn't have to worry about it all weekend. Nice pool/outdoor lounge area on the 6th floor. No continental breakfast, but there was an excellent NYC Bagel place just a block away
Had a great stay here. Super friendly staff and very conveniently located. The rooms are great, functional layout and the bed is SO comfy. Highly recommend
I have nothing but good thing to say about this hotel. Excellent service, location and facilities. The pool and surrounding areas were always clean. The rooms were cleaned daily by an excellent staff
Location is excellent and bed is comfortable. The swimming pool was a disappointment though - chlorine smell was too strong and stings the eyes.

The only things I would have liked to have seen would be an outlet near the desk area (only ones were near the bed) so I could more easily utilize the desk for working and a coffee maker, but honestly it worked out just fine
Definitely will go there again. Very nice place which is located in Downtown. You go out and can find everything whatever you want.
A perfect hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient place to stay without paying extra for fancy accommodations. If you just need a clean and comfy bed, a toilet, and a shower this is the way to go for sure
The location is convenient, close to the subway station, and the front desk service was pretty good. However, the safe in the room was broken and unusable
Our bathroom had a leak and it made the bathroom smell like pee. Couldn’t really use the bathroom trash can because it needed to catch the water. Let the staff know when we left, but didn’t say much about it
The bar and the lounge on the first floor was super cute and nice. Special mention to the receptionist - I forgot to ask his name, but African American dude. Amazing hospitality from the staff

The location is super convenient, surrounded by famous shops, and the area feels very safe. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. Great value for money! I'd definitely recommend it to friends visiting Chicago.
Great service, but there's a daily service fee. The hotel is generally clean and tidy. The location is excellent, with lots of activity nearby and convenient transportation
It's only about 50 meters from the 360 Chicago Observation Deck
The room was clean and well-equipped. The restaurant service was excellent, but the front desk service was poor. The hotel is located on a commercial street, offering convenient transportation
The hotel room itself is nothing like the pictures shown on the listing. The room was very dull and gloomy looking with having to rely on the lamps to light up the room
The hotel was located near a mall and many luxury branded shops, going to places and back was easy with public transport if you get a Ventra card in advance

Our second stay here - not disappointed
We thought that the $90 breakfast was a bit too high to pay for what we got for two people. We saw other plates delivered about 15 minutes after ours were more substantial
Bonus points for being connected to Nordstrom/ my husband always appreciates sitting at the Nordstrom bar while I shop! The cookies and good beverage credits for complimentary cocktails is a nice touch
The soundproofing in the room was quite good, especially for a US hotel. However, the window in this room type faced a building that was too close, so there wasn't much of a view
one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Chicago. Great restaurant and rooftop bar on the fifth floor. Location is within walking distance of most everything on Michigan Ave. Room was great , bathroom great, beds great
The hotel's location is great, making it super convenient for dining out and shopping, and transportation is easily accessible. The cleanliness was good, with tidy and hygienic bedding and amenities
Would and have already highly recommended this hotel to several people. The only suggestion I have is with the shower products. Accessibility to the pump on the shower products is difficult to pump

This is a very beautiful hotel in a very cool Chicago neighborhood. I also enjoyed the history of the hotel. They have everything from single bed rooms to 2 room suites
Surrounding environment: The golden coast area is quiet and comfortable, close to Lake Michigan, suitable for morning and evening walks
Transportation: It is about 12 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, which is a little distance
Hotel environment: Clean, atmospheric and quiet, a good choice away from the downtown
Breakfast: There are not many varieties, but the food quality is good, but...
The bed (though very low) was comfortable enough, the room (though too bright at dawn because the curtains weren’t room-darkening) was quiet enough, and the breakfast bar was ample and tasty enough to nourish us through the day
I chose this hotel because of its walking proximity to a business-related destination. It is ideally situated in the beautiful Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Other reviews have cited bait-and-switch hidden fees
A glitch in the system resulted in my receiving email and text confirmations multiple times a day, and even after check-in
Consistent with other reviewers, we found it basic and drab, with a combination of dated saggy furniture and tacky plastic updates. I wouldn’t have wanted to hang out there all day, but we weren’t there for that

Everything was really good, nice view and nice beverages provided foc at the lobby. Only they provided 2 bottle soof drinking water every 3 days, which means we got one time only. The chinese restaurant was really good
We picked a room overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan and it was a wonderful view. The floor to ceiling windows were as awesome as advertised. Very comfortable king size bed
The food was amazing, stayed an extra day due to personal reasons. The hotel offers $16 off on the restaurant downstairs, excellent food
While I was there, hit the gym too, definitely got everything you need to do a work out
We picked a city view and this did not disappoint! We were on the 10 floor looking out to the lake. The team of people from the door person , front desk team and restaurant were very helpful
Room was very quiet at night, which is nice. Front desk staff were quick at check-in and resolving an issue I had with a room key

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel, and it easily stood out compared to others in the area. The location was ideal, with plenty of nearby shops and dining options, which made getting around simple and stress-free
The hotel itself felt modern and, with a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Everything was clean, from the lobby to the rooms. Overall, it offered a great balance of comfort, style, and location
Whether you’re heading to the museums, shopping on the Magnificent Mile, or catching a show in the theater district, everything feels close by. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and extremely clean
Were Starbucks coffee from a high-end machine that made mornings that much better. they also offer fresh apples and oranges daily, which is a nice bonus if you’re on the go
You can tell attention is paid to every detail, and the environment feels both welcoming and stylish. One of our favorite touches was the in-room coffee at the 3rd floor
The room is nice and clean. The housekeeping is very good and worthy of praise.
Minor disadvantages: The windows are not soundproof enough and the gym is average.

They both went above and beyond to make sure I had whatever I needed and the attentiveness for the staff at large was impeccable. Check-in was a breeze and from there the accommodations were top-tier
The location couldn’t be better—right across from The Bean. The hotel is gorgeous, old-style elegance with a beautiful, antique-like bar, a cozy fireplace, and fabulous wooden details throughout
The food and drinks were excellent. The service was outstanding and attentive, from the bellman to the janitorial staff. The rooms are spacious, with a very comfortable large king bed
Room was great the bar was a bit loud and they now have part of the lobby as restaurant which is kinda annoying but forgivable for how nice the hotel is
The room was wonderfully appointed, and the hotel amenities could not be beaten. I will always come back to this hotel
The best place to stay in Chicago! Friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Great attention to detail to make our stay memorable!

10/10 would recommend everytime. This will be my go to hotel if and when I return to Chicago. The restaurant for breakfast had some of the best food, too. I can't find a negative thing to say or a critique
The stay was very friendly and helpful. Since my room was ready they even let me check in early!
There are 2 restaurants in this hotel. We had drinks at the one near the lobby and we ate at the ROOF
The food was delish! The environment was fun. We were worried that it was going to be more for the 20 something crowd, but there were adults of every age there
This hotel was perfect! Located next to Riverwalk and basically everything in the downtown area. I had the King Spa River view room and it was amazing. The view was perfect and the tub was on point.
Located in the heart of the city, with the station underground, perfect for those heading to the marathon starting line. Traveling to and from the airport by train is convenient and inexpensive
The location of the hotel was great for walking to different attractions downtown. Lots of food options around the hotel as well. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was good
It's very close to all the attractions, very safe in downtown, and the facilities in the hotel are also very good!
The hotel was very well located, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
The rooms are clean, mattresses are okay. No drawers for any of your clothes. The room service is 24hrs and you can ask for waters, coffee, towels and extra blankets. Didn’t know that until today when I was checking out
Very nice location in Chicago downtown with affordable price.
The cocktails were great, and the bartenders were conversational and friendly

The paint smell was a bit strong when I first entered the room. The room was large and spacious, but the cups were all disposable and there was no kettle or tea bags. The bedding was nice but a bit too soft.
Excellent day everything was picture. Perfect love their rooftop bar. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. The price point was phenomenal.
We stayed at the Godfrey for our honey moon. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel was so clean. This hotel is about a mile from Michigan avenue and other hidden gems such as a wonderful steakhouse
Went for a business trip, has a very cool rooftop bar and a restaurant. Great rooms, great products in the bathroom as well. Good views depending on the side you get
Although getting water is a pain, the front desk only gives you 2 small bottles at a time
The staff was very friendly and very accommodating it was a little more expensive but I would stay here over and over again! Highly recommend!

Great room with a view of downtown. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Drinks at the rooftop bar was fun and very classy. Breakfast at the Portsmith restaurant in the hotel lobby was delicious; great service.
Wonderful staff and amazing hospitality. Will definitely be coming back ☺️ .
The room is spacious and the staffs are super friendly and accommodating! This is such a hidden gem and my go to hotel whenever I visit Chicago! Definitely go to their restaurant downstairs which is situated within the hotel (River North Bistro) for Happy Hour!!!!
The hotel was in a great location. The staff was helpful and professional. When we first got there, we were confused because the hotel lobby is on the second floor, but we were directed to where we needed to go
This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Eurostars! We live this hotel for it's close proximity to a lot of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions, supermarkets, bars
I will definitely be staying there again
I love that The hotel provides a bowl of clean water and treats for dogs at their entrance
Lovely 🌹

But the restaurant market creations inside exquisite for the price you get a free full breakfast buffet for lunch at 789 a pound you can use my name Casablanca, and they will give you a 10 percent discount even off of that price
I stayed at the hotel for two nights and three days in late December 2025. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The heating system in my room was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep
During my entire stay, there was no housekeeping service or towel replacement, which was very inconvenient. The building also feels quite old; even the elevator rattled whenever it moved
Surprisingly great affordable hotel in downtown near the Willis Tower. My room was nice with a good view of the street. Nice workout area, didn't try pool. Room was pretty spacious with good view of street
, most of the food was already gone. It honestly felt like a “breakfast war zone. ”
I hope your hotel takes these issues seriously and improves the guest experience moving forward
Whether is absolutely not enough that I could say to anybody who is planning on coming in from out of town or just get away for the weekend, this isn't the central part of downtown Chicago access to all our public transportation, such as the buses and the trains

From the people at the front desk who were warm, courteous and friendly, to the rest of the staff who were always thoughtful and caring and very attentive
Room was excellent. Everything was clean and the amenities were fantastic. Staff was very warm and helpful. Will go back
I know someone has to be on the lower floors, but it seems that if you are going to pay more for a view they should make sure you are on a higher floor
This is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities that feel kind of luxurious. We especially loved the huge tub in our room
One gripe we had is that we paid quite a bit more for a lake view room and we were on the eighth floor, which did not really afford much of a view
Even before we arrived, the service was warm, thoughtful, and truly world-class. A very special thank you to Casey Frankel, who went above and beyond to make our time feel so meaningful

#positive #I was happy with the Cleanliness of the towels, Cleanliness of the floors, Public area decor, Staff attitude, Bathroom, Convenience of transport; #positive# Satisfied with the cleanliness of towels, cleanliness of floors, decoration of public spaces, attitude of staff, bathrooms, and convenience of transportation
All is good except the noise from the fire department from the opposite and the hole below the door is too big the flow wind can go through
The breakfast was varied and the atmosphere was casual and nice.
I booked a King bed, but as a Hyatt member I was upgraded to Double Queen bed with a view. I will book again at this hotel in the future. See below
Pros:
The rooms are updated with sufficient lighting in the bathroom
The mattress and pillows are comfortable. I appreciated the addition of a closet with a light inside. The floor is impeccably clean. The front desk texted me to inquire if they can further assist me during my stay

Only a few hundred meters from the river, close to Grant Park, many high-end shops, the Riverwalk, and too many grwst restaurants to ever visit in 10 trips!
The rooms are spacious, clean & well-appointed
They offered a complimentary item from the coffee shop and hosted happy hour during my stay. My room was neat and well kept and a great place for me to land
Always a great stay at a Virgin hotel. The location in Chicago couldn't get any better
Other amenities in the room were clean and fresh (such as the bed). Temperature control for the room was great, no issues there. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff at the front desk when checking in
Staff were great but the water temp through the shower was hard to control. Even on cold it was really hot water coming out of the shower head. But otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Accommodations were comfortable overall with a couple slight disappointments. Certain aspects of the room had not been maintained (the vinyl flooring was in desperate need of repair and cleaning)

A wonderful hotel, located in the city center. The beach is a 5-minute walk away, which is important to me. The room was very beautiful, clean, and equipped with all the amenities. The breakfast was delicious and varied
I am not used to this type of hotel. Doormen, valet parking, tiny elevators. Not the sort of place I usually stay. However we needed a place that allowed dogs and this one had a good price and location
We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes, it's a little dated, but for the price we really liked it! The staff were very friendly and our room was spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again!
I have stayed here many times. The location is wonderful. Streeterville is a favorite of mine. The staff are truly helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I will be returning.
Great location. Great staff. Clean room. Amazing shower pressure. What more do you need 😊 Could have just used some more accessible plugs next to the bed that’s all.
The people were helpful and understanding of our needs. The room was fairly large and they had tried to do tasteful modern updates

The rooms themselves were amazing, nothing less than what you would expect from a Waldorf. The pool and gym were very good for a hotel. They even went out of their way to accommodate a couple of small requests
The environment is fantastic! The decor is exactly what I wanted, and we even got an upgrade! We felt like we didn't have enough time there. The shopping area downstairs is especially convenient for shopaholics.
I told her that the turndown service would come in 30 minutes, but she didn't come as promised. I asked for two sets of new towels, but all the towels were stained except for the bath towel
My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago was exceptional. The room was not just nice, but genuinely lovely and remarkably spacious, with the added charm of an open fireplace and stunning corner views over upper Chicago
I had a fantastic stay at the Astoria Chicago, and I have to give a special shoutout to Holly at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional
Literally everyone, from door man, valet, front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant, are courteous, genuinely caring and knowledgeable, they assured my stay was excellent and it definitely was

Chicago hotels don't usually offer complimentary breakfast so I really liked that. A short walk to the El and bus stops. The pool is small but the kids enjoyed swimming. Would definitely stay here again!
I really liked the hotel, except that the room service didn't come every day, I had to go to reception and ask for cleaning and changing the towels
There is an absolutely great breakfast served each morning and it's always different. There are amenities like a workout room and an indoor pool
The only drawback is that there is something wrong with the bathroom design. The shower room only has a shower curtain and no waterproof barrier
The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and close to the lake. You can walk to Macy's and other large shopping malls. There are also Chicago Bean and Qianxi Park to visit.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. Location was perfect for us, only minutes away to our destination downtown

Room was great and spacious. Service was great. The pool and sauna were nice also.
The staff were excellent!!! The atmosphere was wonderful. Amber Clinton was especially helpful. She communicated with us very well and gave great options for an itinerary to enjoy our stay. She’s the best!!
Staff was amazing, room was spotless and the whole vibe of the hotel is relaxing. Celebrated our anniversary and it was intimate and perfect.
First time here. Welcoming staff, spacious room with lots of amenities without extra charges. Rooftop bar was nice too. Will be back.
Staff were excellent, room was large and spotless. Would definitely return to Nobu Chicago
the room was an old remolded warehouse and the concrete ceiling was not painted, however that did not distract from the area ( safe) and quality of amenities
