I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel, and it easily stood out compared to others in the area. The location was ideal, with plenty of nearby shops and dining options, which made getting around simple and stress-free.

The hotel itself felt modern and, with a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Everything was clean, from the lobby to the rooms.

Overall, it offered a great balance of comfort, style, and location. I’d definitely choose to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nicer, more polished option in the area.

The room is nice and clean. The housekeeping is very good and worthy of praise.
Minor disadvantages: The windows are not soundproof enough and the gym is average.

The Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago is a fantastic hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city. Its location is incredibly convenient—steps away from multiple bus lines and metro stations, making it super easy to explore all that Chicago has to offer. Whether you’re heading to the museums, shopping on the Magnificent Mile, or catching a show in the theater district, everything feels close by.

The rooms are modern, comfortable, and extremely clean. You can tell attention is paid to every detail, and the environment feels both welcoming and stylish. One of our favorite touches was the in-room coffee at the 3rd floor. Were Starbucks coffee from a high-end machine that made mornings that much better. they also offer fresh apples and oranges daily, which is a nice bonus if you’re on the go.

The hotel also features a lovely lounge area that’s perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. Whether you’re relaxing with a drink or just enjoying the atmosphere, it’s a cozy space that adds to the overall experience.

I walked into this hotel because it was pet friendly and centrally located in the hearts of downtown Chicago. I assumed a big mistake that they would give me their best rates but instead gave me their highest rates. After I checked in I was scrolling through my hotel apps and found out they were charging me twice what I what have paid if I had books through an app. When I brought this to their attention they would not reduce the price of the room. The staff was totally unprofessional & really didn't care one way or another. I will never ever go back to nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. Stay away from the Hyatt centric in the loop. It is a terrible hotel

Great hotel in the center of downtown. I was able to walk everywhere. I stayed in town for the river dyeing on St. Patrick’s Day weekend and was a 10 min walk from the river. I booked 6 months in advance and got a great deal for 3 nights in downtown Chicago.

I won't stay at this hotel next time. The smell after renovation is too strong. There is definitely excessive formaldehyde, which seriously affects the health of people.

My room was very nice. Temperature control was great. I wish room service was available but I did get a chance to eat at the restaurant downstairs which was pretty tasty. I would recommend a stay . And considering future stays

The location of the hotel is very good, and the transportation is very convenient. There are buses and subways nearby. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to fake fifth avenue.

Very nice Hotel. Nice, clean and modern rooms.
Location is amazing. Close to tram and metro stops. Bus stops nearby too.
Close to the big shopping street, everything in walking distance.

This hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was able to do early check-in with no issues. Our room was nice and clean, we just wish we didn't have to go to a different floor for the microwave.
The shower was a little tricky with the door and turning on the water. The tile floor was a little slippery, so I was a little nervous about that.

We tried out the bar downstairs, and it was nice. Our bartenders were great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Great happy hour specials! Food was delicious and the drinks reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Went on a Thursday at 5pm and this place got a little more crowded around 6pm but still had no wait. It's large enough for large groups, and plenty of room at the bar for a quick drink or meal.

We came in for breakfast and were promptly seated. The decor of this place is amazing and the service was great. We split the French toast and the western breakfast. Both were out quickly and were delicious. Thanks for a great start to our day!

Great server. My companions enjoyed the fish and chips and shepherd's pie. The onion soup was okay but I wouldn't order it again. Pretzel bites with cheese were great.

Had a private company party in the downstairs area. Amazing food and great drinks. The fish and chips were very filling and the sliders were perfectly cooked(medium rare-medium). I would absolutely come back again and actually pay this time.

They provide quick and friendly service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming it feels a bit like a neighborhood pub while being downtown. Our server Elephant and Castle is a must stop on all my trips.
