Joyce and Jean really made my stay at the Chicago Athletic Association one of the most stellar experiences I’ve ever had. They both went above and beyond to make sure I had whatever I needed and the attentiveness for the staff at large was impeccable. Check-in was a breeze and from there the accommodations were top-tier. The room was wonderfully appointed, and the hotel amenities could not be beaten. I will always come back to this hotel.

From 11 PM until 1 AM our room was vibrating from the loud House music in the Gameroom directly above us. Then from 130 AM until 530 AM all of the dumpster in the Alley directly outside of our third story window were being emptied extremely loudly. We were able to sleep from 530 until 9 AM.

The location couldn’t be better—right across from The Bean. The hotel is gorgeous, old-style elegance with a beautiful, antique-like bar, a cozy fireplace, and fabulous wooden details throughout. The food and drinks were excellent.

The service was outstanding and attentive, from the bellman to the janitorial staff. The rooms are spacious, with a very comfortable large king bed. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Room was great the bar was a bit loud and they now have part of the lobby as restaurant which is kinda annoying but forgivable for how nice the hotel is

the only issue i have with this hotel, my favorite in Chicago, is the elevators take a long time when you are in the back tower. front tower is preferred

The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is the most charming hotel in the city of Chicago. My wife and I recently got married in Chicago and one of the highlights of the weekend was hanging out at the hotel! It has a roaring 20's vibe with the dark woods in the main lobby and the large game room which is a fun place to get a drink and play chess/pool. Amazing location close to the Amtrak, Chicago subway, and the South shore railroad. And it's across the street from Millennium Park. Most importantly, the staff is very professional and attentive and will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I always stay at this hotel when I go to Chicago because of it's charm and service. I would never stay anywhere else because it's a truly unique hotel in an awesome location with the nicest and most professional staff. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

great hotel with strong history vibe and post industrial style room interior . great location that closes to a lot of major destinations. But for the size and facing of the room(basically looking at the other back of building about 20’ of distance), I think it’s overpriced.
