Excellent day everything was picture. Perfect love their rooftop bar. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. The price point was phenomenal.

The Godfrey nails it when it comes to location—smack in the middle of River North with everything walkable. The rooftop bar is a real highlight: great views, solid drinks, and a fun scene without trying too hard.
Now for the con: the bed. It was very soft. Like, sink-in-and-question-your-spine soft. If you're into that, great. If you're someone who likes to wake up without a back spasm, maybe bring a plank.
Stylish place overall, with a cool energy. Just be prepared to float through your sleep like you're on a marshmallow.

Great location. Beautiful hotel. Service was the worst I’ve ever received. Our room towels were dirty so we called for new ones. The front desk said he was the only person so he didn’t have time to bring any.
We were seated outside at the rooftop lounge. Asked multiple times to be seated in the covered area. The hosts lied and said there was no seating but continued to seat others. After asking a fourth time for inside seating we were given one.
I ordered Lamb Lollipops. They were slopped on a plate and only 1 of the 4 was tender.
When leaving I called Valet for our car. I didn’t get an answer but the worker did call back. When I answered he start yelling, “Ticket number! Ticket number! Speak louder and quicker I’m busy!”

The Godfrey has a great location. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, just don’t get an end room on the 10th floor. Right outside my end room were the strobe lights for the top of the building. The curtains do not cover the windows fully so the strobe lights come through making your room a rave until midnight. I went to bed around 10pm each night and fought to sleep with the dancing lights in my otherwise dark room. I called and talked to the concierge in which they said they couldn’t do anything about the lights. I have no idea how they have this room operational. The next day when I talked to them they said they could move my room to a lesser room. Not great service but a nice hotel otherwise.

Went for a business trip, has a very cool rooftop bar and a restaurant. Great rooms, great products in the bathroom as well. Good views depending on the side you get.
Room service was top notch. Although getting water is a pain, the front desk only gives you 2 small bottles at a time.

We stayed at the Godfrey for our honey moon. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel was so clean. This hotel is about a mile from Michigan avenue and other hidden gems such as a wonderful steakhouse. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating it was a little more expensive but I would stay here over and over again! Highly recommend!

We had a really good time here. The band was really good. It's a nice place to relax and listen to live music with a drink or two.

Drink prices before 9pm were great for downtown!! Saw a few comedians performing downstairs and there was a stage upstairs. Couldn't tell if it was amateure or not but live performance regardless upstairs. Have to go again

The tromboner alone is enough of a reason to come here (pun intended). But for real; the Bad Ass Company Band is phenomenal. The trombone player astounded me. After seeng several shows from Austin, TX to NYC I have never heard a trombone player rock like this guy. Keep it up. Cool place. Cover was a little surprising but as long as it goes to the band it's well worth it.

We stayed at the hotel across the street so this place was very convenient.
We walked over and asked what time they closed, they told us 4am! Lol
They also wanted to charge us $5 to get in, i said no thanks we'll be back later....
We tried the place on the next block which was chill.
After we had 2 drinks there we decided to go back to the underground.
All of a sudden they didn't have a cover charge.

It's an original bar, apparently there's a hand full of bars that are allowed to stay open until 4am if they had a liquor license before a certain date. This place has history.

Can get a little loud on weekends, but during the week for a happy hour or a beer with a bro...Still a great option. They also have a VEGAN salad!!! WIN!

Before 10:00 PM, they have really good food at good prices for River North. After 10:00 PM, it turns into more of a club with better than expected prices.

Awesome fun place. We drank here twice. Once at night and once during the day before our flight. Both times were amazing and I recommend going on game day. Go Cubs! We almost miss our flight for the fabulous drinks and appetizers.

Wings are very tasteful. They know how to make chicken food :) Also the sauces which they serve with the chickens are nice. I liked the design of restaurant. Other meals are as good as wings.

Hooters has always been a cool place to go with friends and have a chill time, an that we did. Unfortunately, the wings were dry, barely any meat, and looked like it was sitting around or over cooked. I'm not one to complain, especially when i was really trying to get away from some stress.

Good time with my father visiting his home city from out of town, nice friendly faces great service, always came back around to see were we enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything!!!
