I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean & spacious, the bed very comfortable. The hotel is in a noisy part of city so hotel leaves complimentary earplugs. Considering I use them normally, the traffic noise didn't bother me. The complimentary breakfast was free and hot so can't complain. The only complaint I have is that the elevator was extremely slow but in the grand scheme of things, the hotel was great.

Worst experience ever. Staff not willing to help. The man who answered the phone in the afternoon was incredibly sarcastic and just awful. I forgot my charger in the room and he refused to look in the lost and found items until I begged. Terrible experience with customer service.

While the staff that I encountered during my stay were very nice (the breakfast staff were awesome!!!), I do have to admit that the neighborhood wasn’t the best location. All the other reviews I’ve read were absolutely correct. There were prostitutes, drug dealers, drug addicted shooting up in plain view, and the the parking was very, very, very limited, and right in the middle of all the above named situations. This really needs to be taken care of. The reviews would be much better if the hotel surroundings change. Our room was amazing. Very home like. I did enjoy my stay.

We stayed for one night. Price was below average for a Boston hotel which was a plus. Room was surprisingly clean and modern considering the area the hotel is located. Parking is complimentary but limited. We arrived at night and there we homeless people scattered around the outside of hotel. I also saw first hand on two different occasions people injecting a needle in their arm in between our vehicle in the back lot. In the early morning there were multiple women presumably prostitutes milling around the back of the hotel. I did not feel that my vehicle was safe or would I let my wife and kids out of hotel alone.

Do not go here. . .or don't leave your room at night. At night this parking lot is full of people that are a mixture of homeless, mental health issues, drug abuse, and Prostitutes. Hopefully Charry (spelling?) isn't your night desk attendant because she has absolutely no customer service skills. I was told, "they are here all the time and don't bother any one or their cars." Kind of her though to offer their security guard to escort me through the parking lot. A real shame since the photos online seem very nice. I guess the trick is to check in before sunset. Go to the Double Tree around the corner on Mount Vernon St. they are cheaper and their night clerk was one of the most positive, nicest, and helpful persons I've met. He took care of me and made sure I had fresh water and several warm cookies on my way out! :D

Although the location is a little sketchy, the hotel itself is amazing and very well maintained. Had a room on 5th floor, not too noisy!!! The free shuttle service driving to downtown area is very convenient! The free breakfast was wonderful. My son loved the delicious cookies in the evening. They have free juices and coffee’s all day long.
The staff was amazing!

Hotel, room and staff are wonderful. The neighborhood is not for the faint of heart, as it sits in a pocket of major drug use and people hanging around. We didn't have any problems, but you should know before you go. Very nice location and easily commuted into downtown via Lyft for under $10

Location is horrible (not the hotels fault I know, but still horrible) with us watching people shoot up drugs right across the street as we looked out the window. We also witnessed at least one drug deal out there as well, and when arriving back to the hotel after a concert we attended, we came back to a bunch of homeless people sleeping on the ground next door to the hotel. Again, I understand that the homeless must sleep somewhere but it really took away from the overall feeling of a safe location with all that we saw while there. I was very worried about my car being broken into as well considering how many people were out there loitering (thankfully it wasn’t, and we had a handicapped parking pass so we were able to stay next to hotel/on site rather than off site like most of the other guests).
The other issue was one of our bath towels had a huge dark stain on it which was gross, and the desk seemed to have dried syrup or something from a previous guests breakfast maybe? Also the “full” breakfast options are pretty limited and I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast at all.
Over all, even though the hotel was decent as far as set up and the room itself, we wouldn’t stay here again!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Hotel , room, and provided breakfast were very nice and met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not being located downtown made it much more economical than the expensive inner city hotels. It also meant we took mass transit, which was in reasonable walking distance for us (being in adequate, healthy shape). The neighborhood includes a large Boston medical complex, which meant there were occasional ambulance sirens and other common urban hustle and bustle noises - neither of which were intrusive. Some other on-line reviews criticized the urban quality of the neighborhood as not feeling safe walking out and about. We had no problems or these experiences at all.

The hotel itself is great and cheap. Service is good and they also offer breakfast for free in the morning. A lot of maps in the lobby. The rooms have television and WiFi is perfect. The actual location though isn’t nice, lots of drugs and homelessness and a bad area in general. It has nothing to do with the hotel but still good to know.

While staying at The Hampton Inn I called New Market Pizza. They did NOT know me from Adam. Yet, the young lady who answered the phone and, took my order was extraordinarily kind AND Friendly! Now, the most important part! I ordered a Pizza I am compelled by honesty. This was NOT the BEST pizza I'd ever had. It WAS However a VERY CLOSE Second! REALLY REALLY Good Pizza! You need to know, I'm from Pittsburgh were we have a LOT of GREAT Italian-American Pizzarias soooo many SUPER GREAT Pizzas made in Pittsburgh so I am VERY HARD To impress! THIS IS EXCELLENT PIZZA! World Class! A++++++++. The delivery came quickly and, PIPING HOT! I could NOT Have been more satisfied! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEW MARKET PIZZA!!!

Now, 2 years later.... I did a search for Pizza delivery cause I was hungry and, didn't really feel like going out. Up comes New Market. So, I look at the reviews and, there's a review by ME! I figured well, if I says it's good pizza must be good Pizza!! So, I order again, 2 years after the first time. Again, the gal on the phone doesn't know me from Adam. I have a bad cold all congested. AGAIN, this gal, (I think now, it's the same gal as the first time). She's VERY Nice, VERY Friendly she takes my order and, 30 minutes later there's a PIPING HOT Pizza at my door!

Turns out leaving a review for a place could turn out to help you at a later time! 2 years later. Different Hotel but, still same area. Sure am glad I got this New Market Pizza!

Its a nice place to get food at a cheap price. They have pizza slices of different pizza type beside cheese and pepperoni like buffalo chicken and broccoli chicken alfredo. The cost is a around 5 dollars but the slices are huge like a 4th of a large pizza but they also do larger pizzas. The godfather steak sub is the best item on the menu along with the west coast salad

Racist. I called in my order for a lg cheese pizza. When i came to pick up the pizza with my 2yr old the service was horrible. I went to the register to get my food and they never acknowledged me at all. Mind you im 6 3 300 lbs. So stood at the register for 15 minutes and never got any service. So i left. And when I called to speak to a manager and they gave me attitude. Mind u while i was standing there they made it a point to serve everyone but the one and only black man with his child. NEVER EVER AGAIN

I really love this place. The people are really nice and the food is always great. This is the first bad experience I have had this far. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and as I was enjoying my food I found a dead fly in the salad. It really bummed and grossed me out to see it. Be careful ordering salad, just make sure you don't run into the same issue I did.
