We had heard that Beacon Hill Hotel restaurant had a new chef, so we went to give it a try and we’re very very happy. The food was great, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere very festive. We will definitely be going back.

We had an excellent experience @ The Beacon Hill Hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting Boston. It's a cozy little hotel in the Beacon Hill area very close to Boston Commons and the start of the Freedom Trail.

A fabulous location and beautiful boutique hotel with a vibrant atmosphere. Close to many nice shops, antique stores, restaurants and within sight of the Boston Commons. The bar always had a lively crowd and the restaurant was fabulous! Rooms were not large, but more than adequate and charming with lots of light. Clean, modern and nicely decorated. Staff was very polite, helpful and cheerful. Highly recommended, would stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are incompetent, negligent, and unapologetically ineffectual, so just beware of that.

We had the best Thanksgiving dinner here! The food was phenomenal. The drinks were fabulous. And the atmosphere was cozy.

This hotel was in the perfect location to take in all the Boston sites. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exactly what was pictured and extremely clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Boston!

Had a perfect experience at the Beacon Hill Hotel! I work in the design industry, and am planning to roll out a brand marketing program at my company, which will require hosting some of the top Designers and Architects in the country; I was staying at the hotel as a "test drive" to make sure it would be "up to snuff" for our very discerning, sophisticated clients, and...it is!

Everything about the stay was lovely. The room was charming - bathrooms were stunning and seemed recently updated, and the location is perfect - ideal walking distance to the park and other desirable places and in such a darling part of the city. Would definitely stay here again on a future visit!

Located right downtown within walking distance to the park. No parking on site. Parking garage was a few blocks away. No loading or unloading area by the hotel, have to haul luggage through park and down sidewalk to hotel. Hotel check in located in the restaurant/bar area. Room was small but clean. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night making sleeping difficult. No staff at front desk after 11 pm. Elevator stopped working during our stay. There is roof top seating area which looked small and cozy, we did not utilize due to only staying one night. Breakfast and coffee served in bar area consisted of pastries and fruit. In my opinion the hotel is overpriced but you’re paying for the location. You could stay somewhere cheaper and uber for the cost difference.

Very cool iconic bar. It is a small place and very busy. Hard to get a spot at the bar but I was seated in the dining area. The beer and food are available. I was surprised at the affordable prices since I was expecting this tourist spot to be more expensive. You can take lots of pictures and the best part is having the option to buy the $7.00 cheers beer mug. A great souvenir to take back home with you. Definately check out the Cheers bar and have fun taking lots of pictures.

Unfortunately, upstairs (where the Cheers set is) feels like any other chain type of restaurant... Definitely not a nostalgic feeling you'd imagine.. But I rarely watched the show. Food was good and they have beer specials. Staff was super friendly. But I would check out the downstairs bar. It's a bar, seems more cozy with a certain charm to it.

Was very neat to see in person, very clean bar. Much smaller then I expected. The set bar was unavailable to see during our visit due to a party but was able to see some of the memorabilia. If you enjoyed the show always worth a visit. I hope to update this review next year when I'm able to see the set.

For the novelty, it was worth the visit. I was there on Thanksgiving night near closing. Staff was polite and helpful. They could have used 2 more servers. Standing room only. It's a very small space for the amount of tourists that visit. I had the hot wings and skins. Tasty. The winter lager was very good. Cheers!

This could and should be an outstanding experience. Ours was most enjoyable except for a couple of employees that need a serious attitude adjustment. The waitress who literally pushed me out of her way when I was taking a picture. Imagine a tourist wanting a picture in Cheers! Also the bartender who told two ladies beside us that this wasn’t the actual set (even though the sign on the entrance said it was) and none of the actors had ever stepped foot in the place. He went on to tell them he’d worked there for 5 years now and had never watched an episode of the tv show. This guy should watch and learn how to properly behave from some of the best in Coach, Sam and Woody!
