Hampton Inn Manhattan Seaport Financial District in New York

Near the Brooklyn Bridge, 5 minute walk (or less) from the Fulton St Subway station, free Wifi & breakfast, helpful, friendly staff. Interesting neighborhood, lots of shops & restaurants—check out the coffee, bread & pastries at Cafe Pataro.

This was a good NY trip. The hotel rooms have 2 Queen beds, which is not always available in NY. The hotel staff were were very pleasant, and seemed to be family run. Breakfast was above average. Location was excellent. 2 mins walk to South street seaport restaurants. 10 min walk to Freedom tower. We had stayed in hotels in mid- town before….. this is far superior.

We stayed here while on our first trip to NYC. This side of town much more mellow. Which I didn't mind. Hotel was clean, 9 floors and less 60 rooms if I'm not mistaken. All staff were very nice and pleasant. What really did it for me was Cesar in the café. Super sweet, very humble. Always helping and cleaning. Because of him and how he treated my family and all other guests there I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a very good location. Staff is friendly, sikliny, helpful and kind. Especially the front office. I can only reccomend. Breakfast offer is not that big, but you can still select eggs, some sausage, pastry, porridge, juices, fruits so for a couple days it is very sufficient :) Thank you very much :)

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but that was expected so no surprise there. The breakfast room was a bit small and crowded. The food was typical breakfast fare for a Hampton Inn (waffles, breads, eggs, sausage, yogurt). I've stayed before and will stay again.

My husband and I stayed last week for my birthday and I was very impressed from start to finish. We arrived at approximately 2:20pm and had no problem checking in, in fact it was the easiest check in I've ever experienced. The gentleman was friendly and accommodating, sorry I did not get his name. the hotel is close (on top of) the Seaport. We were attending a concert at Pier 17 and we walked a few blocks to attend. Its really great when you can check in, freshen up, go to dinner, have a drink, and go to a show with never having to get a cab and only walk a short distance. Every time in the future we attend a show, we will be staying overnight (we live on Long Island). The room was very clean, and had everything we needed including space. The continental breakfast in the morning was the real pleasure of the trip. We had every intention on heading to the Seaport for pastries however I had coffee and my sons girlfriend had a waffle. The gentleman, Caesar who works this small dining room, went out of his way to accommodate every person in the room. We watched him anticipate each persons needs and get things for them before they even knew they needed it. He made the waffles, he served the waffles, and he cleaned up plates. Continental Breakfast does not include service, however this gentleman served everyone.....all with a huge smile on his face. We will 100% return to this location. 5 star!
