Windows were very dirty with fungus, no body cream or hair dryer in the room, when I tried to contact the lobby from the room, it never rang.

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas. The room was clean, staff were friendly and courteous. The public areas looked a little worn and tired-and sad. We stayed there despite e-mail warning us of imminent elevator outages because of its location and convenience , and free parking but mainly due to my belief that Marriott has the most comfortable beds and the facility's indoor swimming pool.

What was most bothersome was the constant beeping in the reception and adjoining lounge area. The receptionists said they couldnt disarm it.

I stay at this Marriott year after year, and it’s because the staff here consistently goes above and beyond. During my recent stay, the elevator issues could have made things difficult, but the team handled everything like absolute pros.

A huge shoutout to Josh, who literally climbed 15 flights of stairs to bring me my DoorDash and then brought food up from the bar/restaurant as well. That level of service is rare and truly deserves recognition.

Zehra is another standout. She’s always warm, professional, and such a bright spot every time I’m here. I’m so happy she’s back!

And I can’t say enough about Thea, She handles all my reservations, cancellations, room requests everything with absolute professionalism, class, and grace. She is truly the reason I choose this property every time.

The entire front desk team makes my stays feel effortlessly and that’s not something you find everywhere.

If you’re looking for a hotel where the staff truly cares, this location is it. These employees are the reason I remain loyal to Marriott, and I hope management recognizes the incredible work they’re doing.

Being in TX, I'll describe this Courtyard as ridden hard and put away wet. Perfect example of poor owner investment and a staff that seems barely able to fend-off the justified guest complaints. I truly feel sorry for them and do not blame them for any of the issues I've experienced.

Read the reviews, they're accurate. Every time I've stayed here there have been moderate to serious facility problems. Electricity working? Maybe. Elevators operating? Sometimes. Hot water? Rarely. Cleanliness? Never, not once.

Shame on me for staying in this toxic relationship with a narcissistic property (staff excluded).

Some of the staff were awesome. Some of the staff were rude and acted like they didn’t want you to ask questions. The rooms are old and stinky. No complementary breakfast. Or coffee. There are so many nice rooms around here with complementary breakfast and coffee. And for the same prices or even cheaper! This is probably the worst room to book in this area.

The room did its job, but the elevator definitely didn’t. I’m pretty sure it gave up on life long before I arrived. Every day felt like a dramatic escape scene where I climbed the stairs wondering if this was a hotel or a punishment for my past sins. By the end, I wasn’t a guest—I was a weary survivor with thighs of steel. If you enjoy suffering with a touch of cardio, highly recommended (My room was in the 12th floor 🙂)

I have stayed at some run down courtyards over the years but this one is the worst! Terrible customer service on top of it all. They don’t even keep up on their maintenance! The elevator is broken. Not a big deal in a 4 or 5 story typical courtyard but this one has 15! Two elevators. One was out of service on arrival then the other broke down too. Bathroom had footprints in it. The bedding is paper thin. Stay elsewhere

Staff was very helpful. Location was great near Galleria Mall and many other stores and restaurants. Parking was easy. Rooms clean and comfortable beds.

The food is quite good, the presentation is stunning, the service is great, elegant atmosphere, and prices are a little high (probably justifiably so). I went for brunch on Sunday and they have a great 3-course meal for 2 people that runs $60 (2 small appetizers, 1 huge entree, 2 small desserts), and I think the price is worth it! I had a great Malbec with my food; they have a decent selection of wines. Great spot behind the Galleria for bringing a date, or to celebrate an occasion. I look forward to returning sometime.

Very bad, I was invited for my friends birthday. I'm wondering how they get that high, worst server I ever had, asked for tea and he came back with 3tea bags in his hands. I ordered ribs and it was impossible to cut the beef. When I told him, he took the plate without saying sorry or ask me if I want to order something else!!!
First and last time for sure.

I wanted to like this place, they have a great looking menu. Unfortunately, great food does not follow. Honestly, there are far better steakhouses just moments away. On a positive note, the waitstaff and service is excellent, everyone was very kind.

Great place. Good wine list - had a fantastic Malbec with my meal. The steak was nicely portioned and cooked. Wait staff were super friendly and helpful. Go check it out when in Houston!

Tango & Malbec is worth the experience. The food was delicious and the staff attentive. I especially enjoyed the prime pork chop with applesauce. I will definitely return so I can try different menu items.
