The room was clean and hygienic. The only downside was that the shower gel wasn't refilled in a timely manner; it ran out and wasn't replaced.

This hotel is excellent! From the ambiance to the service and location, everything is superb! I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Plus, it's right next to the Parliament House, so you can visit first thing in the morning. The front desk even upgraded us to a twin room for free!

The room was spacious, and the location is great. The facilities are clean and hygienic, making it very convenient to get around. It's also quite close to Washington Ronald Reagan Airport, less than a 20-minute drive, and they offer free luggage storage.

Old and a the room was little bit dirty. Staffs were not friendly. I asked for a pair of slippers twice and it was never delivered . However the location was good.

Trash, trash, trash, trash, trash, trash, trash! 1. They charged $60 for overnight parking. The public parking next door was half price. I gritted my teeth and bore it. 2. I checked in late at night, only to be woken up at 9 AM the next morning by renovations upstairs. The noise was like a drill going off in my head. Why didn't they inform guests beforehand that an entire floor was under renovation? And why did they put me in a room directly below the renovation site? What's the deal with that? 3. After being woken up, I went downstairs to request a room change. No room upgrade, no compensation, whatever! I'm a good person! I'm generous! So I just temporarily put up with it. First, they moved me to the 16th floor, which reeked of highly toxic paint fumes. I nearly died from the fumes, so I went downstairs again, furious, to demand another room change. The front desk staff didn't show an ounce of apology, casually saying, 'Oh, we can move you to another room, but there won't be any street-facing ones~' I gritted my teeth again! Because I didn't have time to argue with the front desk! The second room they gave me looked like a morgue, a corner room, full of dust and mites. Disgusting! But since I was so tired I was about to drop dead, I put up with it again! The next day, I broke out in hives all over! Maybe Hilton needs to hire a shaman to ward off evil, I don't know? Substandard hygiene! Substandard service! Blah, blah, blah. If you don't want to get sick or be treated with disdain, go somewhere else!

Booked King Room and was given Queen room without any heads up. When queried, hotel said they ran out of King room. Finally they agreed to swap my room for the second and third day to Twin Room.

Lighting in the room is very poor lit. Squainting my eyes to move around and to do my work.

Water dispensers provided in the lobby are always out of water.

I made a prepaid reservation but my credit card showed a charge again. But it was reversed after feedback to the hotel.

I find it disappointing for a 4 star rated hotel.

Good location to the Capitol hill and tourist attractions.
The front desk service may need to be improved

My family and I recently stayed for five days, and we left with such a wonderful experience. Every employee we encountered was friendly from the valet, to front desk, to housekeeping. However, I have to specifically recognize Sam at valet. He went above and beyond to make our little one feel right at home. Our son looked forward to seeing Sam every time we would leave/return to our hotel. Our room was clean, had plenty of space and storage. Moreover, the location is a reasonable walk to Capital Hill, local parks, and Union Station. We will definitely be returning if ever in DC again.

Mixed feelings.
The hotel is well located, with Washington Union Station nearby.
The rooms are average; they’re clean, but a bit outdated and musty.
The reception staff looked tired and unbothered. The hotel seems to operate only under daily timings; I was not able to get cleaning later on the day. The safe was not working and I had to wait until the next day for someone to come check it, same case for broken light in the bathroom.
The fitness is well equipped.
The hotel was not able to accommodate my request to cancel the last night, even though I was moving to another Hilton. Not necessarily the kind of service you’d expect from them.
Amenities were available upon request, there’s a mini fridge in the room. There was no kettle available.
Overall, for the price, you can get better in Washington DC.

When it comes to Brandon Kelly's Irish Times located near Union Station and next to The Dubliner this place attracts the College rowdy crowd with live entertainment playing the best Irish songs. Drinks are reasonable, great staff and fast service, awesome food can't help but enjoy yourself.

The food was great but the service was HORRIBLE! I believe our waitress was Maria! Customer service skills was terrible!!

A good spot--greasy spoon to get away from your desk, friendly lil' hole in the wall with good history

Good pub food. Decent prices. Good service.

This is a great little Pub to come in and have a quiet lunch or come in later for some "noisy" drinking. It is in a great location. Food is good pub food, although a $10 hamburger and $7.50 beer seems a little high sometimes. But, it is DC and those are normal prices for this place.

Had a great time. The food portions were amazing..abundant..definitely shareable. Not a five due to very small things like missing a chair at the table and needing utensils. I want to add half a star. Prices are decent too!

Worst Irish food I have ever tasted. The Guinness burger is unseasoned and to charge $15 for a patty hash brown and cheese sauce smothered in onion rings fried with fish oil is most definitely an embarrassment to Ireland. The rest of our party had the Irish stew which consisted in one piece of tough stewing meat and a bowl of boiled potatoes and carrots which was covered in a gravy tasting of liver. Needless to say everyone had food poisoning within 45 mins. Made for a delightful visit to Washington

The fish and chips as well as the Shepard's pie were very flavorful. The Dubliner Amber Ale also had a good amount of flavor to it as well. The waitress we had was very attentive and split the order between my friend and I because we were torn between the two entrees we ordered. Overall, great experience!

I stayed at the Liaison Capitol Hill from June 7-10, 2017. While staying there I had breakfast at Art & Soul Café on June 9. The breakfast with tip was $10 and I charged it to my MasterCard. When my MasterCard statement came I noticed I was charged $10 twice. I called them about 4 times and even talked to their book keeping person. She said she will get back to me, but never did.

Amazing food! A bit over priced though. We brought our dog, Shadow and sat on the patio. They had a doggy menu so we got our dog the steak off of it and they brought it out in a bowl that thy had wrote his name on. They also brought him a bowl of water. He LOVED it!!!! He ate it in 3 minutes flat. We will definitely be going here again but only for special occasions due to the price.
16.03.2017 Dan
My family made a reservation here for Thanksgiving dinner. There were eleven of us. One member of our party had a minor emergency en route to the restaurant and was delayed ~45 minutes, they would not seat the rest of us until the full party arrived. They also refused to seat us together. We sat at two separate tables of 6. We did notice other diners seated together in large groups of 8-12.

The food was good, but for $60/person I expected better. Certain dishes were exceptional, some were sub par, some were average. There was nothing we couldnt have made at home. Many of us paid extra for the prime rib and found it tough and dry. I think the desserts were the high point for most of our party.

The table service was excellent and our server was polite and conscientious. .

When we made the reservation, we were told it included something to take a way-- some sort of extra sandwich, in a doggy bag, or similar. As we were getting to leave, we asked, and were told "we did that previous years, but not this year".

We do not plan to go back.
