Hotel has a great location to everything. The rooms are clean and spacious. Having a balcony is a nice feature too. Cleaning Service is quick and not too intrusive. Only complaint is the shower gel smells horrible. Not sure why it was used.

Location is great. Only caveat is that it’s very close to the fire station so sirens go off 3 to 4 times a day and sometimes middle of the night. Bring ear plugs

It is simply the best hotel / property in D.C. New,Clean, Nicely Decorated Rooms. Brand New Coffee Machines instead of stupid Keurig!
Balcony is a great option as you wish to get clean and fresh air.

Everything we experienced here, literally EVERYTHING, was fantastic. This was by far the best hotel stay i can ever remember. I full-heartedly recommend Hotel AKA to anyone looking for an awesome, frictionless stay.

We really wanted to enjoyed our stay at Hotel AKA Washington Circle. Check-in was smooth, and I really appreciated that they accommodated an early arrival. The room was very clean, well-kept, and matched the online photos. The balcony was a nice touch. The also offer a free washer/dryer which was great - they did provide a free box of Tide (travel size). Perfect for not wanting to take dirty clothes home. Transit transit transit was phenomenal! It’s close, easy and super convenient.

But the in-room bar prices were out-damn-rageous. And the real dealbreaker was the noise: I could hear everything through the adjoining door — conversations, bathroom sounds, toilet flushes — like we were all in the same room. On top of that, the cleaning staff in the hallway sounded like they were standing in my room, and constant ambulance sirens made it worse.

So while the hotel nailed cleanliness and service, the noise kept it from being restful. If you’re sensitive to sound, this may not be the best choice.

The staff was great. We needed to check in early which they accommodated, though at the steep price of $200. The room was nice. I wish the showers had a little more power. They are very pet friendly, more so than at any hotel I’ve ever stay. The metro is a quick 5 min walk away and there are plenty of store and restaurants around. Best of all…no national guard ruining your view if such a beautiful city.

This will def be my new go-to for stays in DC.

Delicious food. Great service. The pretzel baguette was scrumptious. The duck was bursting with flavor. Will definitly revisit when I am in the area again.

Wonderfull place to have dinner with friends.
You should certainly taste the meat and the mussels. The portions are big, so you won't leave being hungry for sure.
It is usually quite crowded in the evening, so you better reserve the table in advance.
The service is nice.

The food here is consistently good. The service is impeccable and the drinks are always good! We come here for brunch and chose the bottomless option, which runs $16 with the purchase of an entree. They always keep the mimosas flowing.

The host at District Commons was also very accommodating. I called to change the reservation at least three times (party size kept changing) and they were so nice about it.

Steve, I believe who is the manager, has impeccable customer service. He's extremely attentive, greets every guest, asks you questions if you're unsure or overwhelmed by the numerous mouthwatering options, and even follows up if you ask for a taster --- every time! My only regret is not writing this review sooner because service like this should be rewarded!

Good service, decent prices, very nice atomsohere and decor, and good food. I will be coming back. I had the jambalaya and it was very good, not as good as Cheesecake Factory but still good. The salmon was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend visiting in 2018.

Truly underrated brunch scene. The drinks are great. Highly recommend the strawberry vodka mojito or the cucumber sangria. For the price, you can’t really beat it. The food is also spectacular and really hits the spot for brunch.
