We were meant to spend 3 nights here but after the first night we had to move hotels due to the extremely uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was average, buffet laid out with usual items fruits, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs. We left our laundry at 7am and told it would be ready by the afternoon. At 4pm we queried it and was told would be ready soon. Returned to collect at 8pm and it was still wet, assume they actually forgot to give to the cleaner in the morning and she only started at 4pm. On checking out after the first night's stay the young male receptionist asked why we were leaving early, we told him our reason. He charged us for the 3 nights which we expected would be the case as we were within the cancellation period, however he stated that he would "refund" us US$10 there if we didnt write a negative review. We declined as we believe in giving honest reviews so other visitors know the truth. We moved to another hotel which was excellent. If visiting Bukhara we would not stay here again.

We had chosen this hotel for the location and the good reviews but the disappointment was heavy. Nothing to say about the location, actually comfortable but the standard of the hotel I would say is very low, indeed considering the terrible price. Rooms not made up, breakfast not before 8 and even if requested an advance at 7.30, total refusal. At the time of payment, despite having booked with booking, they made a lot of difficulties and in the end they made us cancel the reservation to make us pay, according to them less, but with the exchange rate, a little more. In short, I would say that even on this aspect they were not very serious, having written in the email that they accepted foreign currency, euros or dollars, but changing their mind at the time of payment.

Family hotel. Beautiful. Friendly hostess, but the son is mainly in charge. Breakfast at the time we wanted (nice). A pot of tea in the evening is free. The air conditioner is working. Wifi is available. They offered free beautiful clothes for photographing (Uzbek outfits).

The place has a great inner courtyard. Unfortunately the toilet didn't work and the staff told us that it can only be fixed the next day (not sure what we were supposed to do in the meanwhile). The WiFi doesn't easily reach the rooms in the back. It's located in a great area, within walking distance of the main city sights.

What a charming guesthouse in the middle of the old town, just a few minutes from Lyabi Hauz! This is a renovated medressa, with a nice courtyard and an old well in the center. The rooms are on the smaller/cozier side but comfortable, and breakfast is the best one we had at a hotel in Uzbekistan. Make sure to try the homemade cherry jam and thick yogurt on a crepe!

It is cozy both in winter and in summer. In winter, the warm floor warms, in summer, thick walls of old brick do not let the heat inside.
And of course, you can't forget the charming hostess Leila!
The staff is sympathetic, attentive, they will always help, they will treat you to tea with sweets.
The hotel gained a high rating during the year of operation, which has not been achieved by many other hotels for many years.

A hotel close to tourist places.
