Inexpensive accomodations in Uzbekistan

I stayed in the 5 bed dorm room and was lucky enough to be the only person in my room on my first night! All the staff were extremely helpful and kind - I had to leave quite early in the morning and they insisted that I had breakfast before leaving (even though it was before breakfast was ready!)

You need to walk a little from Kosmonavtlar Station. But other than that, it's a great place to stay. Clean sheets and beds, relaxing sofas and chairs, toilets and shower rooms that were spotlessly cleaned every day

The subway station is about a 10-minute walk away, but the location is good. There's also a supermarket nearby. Even though I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, the staff were very accommodating

Breakfast was also prepared early, which was helpful. The room was a dormitory, but it was spacious, and the large, lockable dresser was a plus

The shower and toilet were located a short distance away on the same floor. The surrounding area gave the impression of a quiet residential area. Urumqi North Station is 4km away, and the airport is 5km away

I had an exceptional two-night stay at this guesthouse in Tashkent. The manager kindly upgraded me to a suite, which was multiple times better than I expected, featuring a separate bedroom and living room

Beside its excellent location (a stone's throw from Registon), tasty breakfast, clean rooms and decent wi-fi coverage, the highlight is unmatched hospitality of the owners. They are extremely helpful and kind

If you want to relax, you can sit outside on a bench and look into their garden with pretty flowers and trees. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, served with bread and tea

Great hotel in Shakhrisabz, especially the hosts who are very friendly! The room was also very nice and had good AC and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was also nice each morning

There is an air condition in the room and amazing shower. If you need internet, there is a working fast WIFI. The hotel is really close to the city center

Brand new hotel. Great room & bathroom. Wonderful service. The airco was top (not all hotels in Shahrisabz have working airco's). Good WiFi.

While I can't say I'm incredibly easy to get along with – during my entire stay in Tashkent, I never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable because of how people treated me. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful

We stayed in Tashkent as a transit point before heading to Thailand (as I mentioned above, for three weeks), and during that time they became almost like family to us – they helped us with many issues, cared about us as if we were their own, and even consulted us on some matters quite thoroughly (for example, how best to open a sole proprietorship in Uzbekistan, the cheapest way to travel from Uzbekistan...

An excellent hotel, always clean, with good, hearty breakfasts and fresh rooms. But that's not the most important thing; the most important thing is the staff and the owners – they're wonderful people

The hotel is clean (rooms, common areas, bathrooms) and warm. Breakfast is included, TVs are in every room, and there's 24/7 access. Each room has its own bathroom, unlike hostels

We didn't feel sick or have any unpleasant sensations (as mentioned in the comment above; I didn't notice anything like that on either the first or the twenty-first day)

Amazing place! The hotel is super clean and comfortable and the owner is just so helpful! There were issues with free rooms in Kungrad when we arrived and we didn't have anything booked but the owner made sure we have a place for the night! So hospitable! If you want to stop in Kungrad, this is definitely the place to be!

The owner was super helpful with providing y’a info on costs for shared taxis to Muynak and Khiva and even ended up arranging these for us. Would recommend this place for travellers passing through Kungrad

Comfortable, clean hotel at an affordable price. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. They arranged a shared taxi for us to Moynaq, it picked us up in the morning at the hotel entrance

One of a few hotels in the city, not far from the center, owned by a local family, the rooms are clean and airy, service worth money

Additionally, the owner was very generous to propose a ride to the Aral sea that turned out to be a wonderful experience

Clean and big rooms - we stayed our first night in Uzbekistan here after crossing from Kazakhstan

One of the biggest plus is that they accept card payments, which is extremely rare for budget/midrange hotels in Uzbekistan

Me and my family stayed here during our visit in Samarkand. The owner and his family were very attentive and hospitable. The location is great and close to everything, and our stay was reasonably priced

The location of this property is fantastic. 10 mins walk from Registran and with several shops and cafes nearby. The hosts were very kind and always eager to please. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great hotel, we came with my family in the summer and it was beautiful there, different fruits grew on the trees and there is a national dish I liked how good cooks cook pilaf before my eyes and good attitude clean rooms, toilets are cooked in the tandoor flatbread thank you for the service and kindness

A very cozy hotel, when the beautiful design came in, flowers bloomed and fruits ripened on the trees, birds sang, they met good-naturedly, and took them to the room, it was clean, bright and dust-free, the car was organized and drove along historical monuments

Do not look for a room with a toilet in the room, there are none and never will be - everything is on the floor

In general, a "free" Samarkand taxi will solve all problems. The disadvantage is too good audibility

Friendly owners who are quite accommodating to special requests like vegeterian food or early breakfast or takeaway breakfast when you have to leave early. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was varied.

Breakfast was included and it was very delicious, the second day I departed at 3am, the house owner woke up, packed me breakfast, made sure I was all good, he even walked me out until I was in the taxi safe ans sound:) he also gave me lots of tips on where to go and what to eat, I wish I could stay longer and I would 100% recommend his place to anyone

This little guesthouse deserves more 5 stars reviews. At a prime location, the family is very warm and hospitable, rooms are very comfortable and clean with the price. Breakfast is really delicious

I had to leave very early in the morning to catch the train, and they made a takeaway breakfast pack for me. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Bukhara again

Guest house run by a super friendly, nice and helpful couple. They provide helpful hints to visit the town. Room is basic, but clean and equipped with necessities.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The room had all the amenities, and the mattresses were great. The hot water worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was good for heating

We even found toothbrushes with toothpaste, soap, and shower gel in the room. The Wi-Fi was excellent, both in the room and elsewhere, so I had no trouble getting some work done

Great option for a solo traveler. You can tell the hotel is actively being worked on and will only get better.

I can expect it for a 2-star hotel, but they claim to be three stars, which is well beyond my understanding. It is cheap though and it does have a 24h reception desk

So if you are looking for a very cheap accommodation - you can give it a try, but do not expect anything more than a very basic amenities

There is no drinking water in the rooms and no safe (nothing was stolen though). The soundproofing is nonexistent - you can hear people from the hall and since the reception is there it means you can hear everything

The shower is leaking, the pressure is low and there is no way to fix the shower head to the wall - it simply does not reach the holder. The washbasin is tiny - it is hard to wash your face and brush teeth

The furniture is falling apart (the shelves were fixed on just two screws (not even 4 and not proper things to hold the shelf) so they fell on my foot

Quite a disappointing experience. The only good side is that it is reasonably clean - can’t deny that. The rest is an utter disappointment

The Kavsar is a very pleasant hotel, located in a renovated old building inside the neighborhood. Breakfasts are served on the terrace and in a room on the top floor, and are delicious, especially the pastries

The receptionist was arrogant, constantly doing us favors. The only good thing was the spacious rooms with decent beds and a balcony, where we lay on pillows—there's no furniture there

A fairly affordable hotel in the historic center. My room was very spacious, the shower worked well and was nice and hot, although there were some damp stains between the tiles

Hotel in the historic center of Bukhara. The soundproofing from the street isn't great, but the noise stops on its own around 11 p. The breakfast is standard, nothing special

At the Kabir, the breakfasts are disappointing, the coffee is terrible, they asked us to reheat a boiled egg in the microwave, and they serve it all in a windowless basement

Actually, the photos posted here are of another hotel—the Kavsar boutique hotel, which is owned by relatives of the same family, as I understand it

I originally booked a hotel in Samarkand city center, but due to ongoing construction works, I was transferred to Imron Hotel. The transfer process was very smooth, and I truly enjoyed my stay from 26/12/25 to 29/12/25

Registan Square is about a 15-minute walk, and from there you can easily walk to other sites like Islam Karimov Park, Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Mausoleum, Siyab Bazaar, Hazrat Khizr Mosque, and Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis

The breakfast was delicious, prepared with care—special thanks to the lovely lady who cooked it. Conveniently, there are grocery stores, a bread stall, and a chicken-based restaurant just around the corner

The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a wardrobe, mini fridge, and other essential amenities. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated

All that you need is there (close to Registan Square, cold and hot water, free Wi-Fi and the spirit of central asian houses). Owners are super-friendly and nice persons

Major attractions such as Amir Temur Mausoleum, Ruhabad Mausoleum, the nearby park, and mosque are only a 5-minute walk away

I recommend this hotel. Perfect service, delicious breakfast and clean rooms.
