Excellent hotel, fully consistent with the description on the website. We were checked in immediately after arrival, which certainly lifted our spirits

Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price

The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level

We had to extend our stay and decided to stay at the same hotel for practical reasons. The room is clean and convenient, they provide water bottles and Ahmed tea which is the best

The hotel is in a good location, close to the Registan, about 15 minutes away. The breakfasts are good. There's a spa, one hour a day, free. Overall, you can book it with confidence.

We liked the location – it's close to a street with many restaurants. Registan Square is about a 25-minute walk away, where you'll find a pedestrian street, a market, and other attractions

You can also take a taxi, which costs 100-150 rubles. The staff is very polite! They'll tell you everything you need to know and make sure you're comfortable. The breakfasts are quite good, and the cleaning is excellent

The hotel is located in the new district, not the city center. It takes about 30 minutes by taxi to the train station, and about 10 minutes and 10 yuan by taxi to Registan Square

The best part about staying at Samaria Hotel and Spa was the location it is so close to Registan and all the beautiful cultural landmarks and the amazing Aziza on the reception! Aziza helped us find everything we needed!

Samariya Hotel & Spa, also known as Samariya Terrace, is one of the best value-for-money hotels in Samarkand—especially notable for its pool and breakfast offerings

Its prime location near main attractions is a huge plus. We can easily walk or take a short taxi ride to popular spots. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone looking for convenience and comfort

In particular, Aziza at the front desk was a delight, she was so so friendly, answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing too–huge selection and all delicious!

The first really truly plump comfortable beds since leaving the UK. The rooms were homely and the hotel had a central atrium with seats and garden area

On arrival we planned to eat at the in house restaurant as we arrived quite late. The menu was limited, and as it was cold we asked to eat indoors rather than on the terrace

A word of caution! Avoid eating at Shoxjahon across from the hotel! It's not a good place, and they charge a 15% service fee, yet offer absolutely no service! Even worse, after paying by credit card, my card was successfully charged, but the hotel claimed the transaction was canceled and insisted I pay again

In case you don’t have a yandex taxi app, the reception administrator will very kindly order a taxi for you. No problem to leave your bags there while waiting for train
