Where to stay in Tirana

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful short break in Tirana . Hotel Baron was perfectly situated , just 10 minutes from the Centre , set in a very traditional , busy village . The Hotel itself was excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly . The room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony . The breakfast was cooked freshly each morning and served in a family type dining...

Staff were friendly and the property was nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good, fresh food and amazing eggs. Some areas in the bathroom could have been cleaner and the property was a little worn in places but would stay here again.

Camped here for a few nights with our van. Tight ish entrance but do able and great for easy access to the city. It has a money exchange place and bakery etc all nearby as well as the bus stop (no 8/8A bus). The toilet and hot shower shared with other campers was appreciated as was the good WiFi

The bathroom outlet was broken, the furniture looked old, and there were only duvet covers, no cups.

The room is large with a small terrace. It is actually opposite the Chinese Consulate, which feels very friendly. A hotel in the consulate area. Very central. The hotel's breakfast has a variety of cheeses, cold meats and coffee. The breakfast restaurant service is very good. There are many delicious restaurants around, and it is very close to the attractions. I will stay here again when I return...

Tirana Arena Hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of Skanderbeg Square. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious, especially the fried eggs. Although we arrived at the airport in the early morning and were late, the driver who picked us up was still waiting at the exit, which was very good. I was without car but the internet was okay and the staffs were friendly.

The New York Hotel is beautiful and elegant, with comfortable rooms and a great location in Budapest. The atmosphere feels luxurious, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the front desk staff could be more attentive and responsive to guests’ needs — service at reception was not as good as expected. Overall, still a nice experience but with room for improvement.

Hotel was nice, but I need to alert the tourists to not go to the bar coffe just in front as they will scam you so just be careful.

It was great place and had a great time

The hotel is located about 20 min walk from the city centre. Lot of shops in the neighbourhood. But also a very busy street just outside of the hotel. Breakfast was OK. Staff was not good. Not attentive at all, and sometimes directly rude. One person in the reception was OK.

The location of the hotel was quite nice. It was clean and tidy. The rooms were good. Had some trouble with the airport pickup, would rather advice to book a taxi online on Speed taxi Albania. No halal food options.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a large living room and two bedrooms. Both had balconies and a simple kitchen. The room was spacious and reasonably priced. There was a small, simple pool on the fifth floor, and the hotel was tastefully decorated. It's about a 15-minute walk to the square, and there's a large supermarket nearby.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I highly recommend this hotel. The location is convenient. Nice atmosphere with a beautiful rooftop terrace restaurant and a swimming pool. The rooms were nice for the price, the service and location was also good... But the smell completely threw me off. I thought I stepped into a cigarette shop when I first walked into my hotel room. It REEKED of cigarettes. I had let it air out the entire day but the smell was already in the walls. Don't know if I'll be coming back for this specific reason.

Stayed here for two nights while in Tirana. The owners were very nice and hospitable. The rooms were clean, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and the hotel itself was really calm and quiet. Amazing value for the price. I will definitely stay here again whenever I am back in Tirana.

Very happy with the service! I stayed there only one night and i felt very welcomed. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was supper clean and they were happy to provide me extra pillows when i asked too. We slept very well and if i am going to need a hotel to sleep in Tirana i am going to go again at Primavera and recommend it to my friends!

Staff were fantastic, breakfast was delicious and the location was good as most places of interest were not too far and reachable within a 30 minute walk as well as a bus right at the hotels doorstep. Great little hotel! Nice, inexpensive, small hotel. The staff is friendly and most speak English. The owner's nephew was very friendly and you can book a ride back to the airport with him. Restaurants, coffee, bakeries, and some shops within walking distance or the bus stops are nearby. Breakfast is good. A great place to start exploring Tirana. Albania was wonderful!

Not a bad little hotel based about a 20-30 minute walk from the centre of Tirana. The rooms were well maintained and the free WiFi fast, which was helpful for planning our day-to-day. We found the hotel to be quite noisy in the early morning, when rooms were being cleaned and prepared for new guests. There are bars, cafes, and restaurants all available nearby, as well as a few small supermarkets...

Lovely room and stay! The WiFi was down for upstairs in the rooms but worked in the lobby area while I was there…I do wish that part would’ve been communicated because I did have an important meeting but they let me use the conference room downstairs so I will say staff (Arson) was accommodating! We stayed one night in the Dajti Tower Belvedere Hotel and it was lovely! It was off-season and they have some construction going on which didn’t affect us but did mean there was only one other room occupied that night. Another of Tirana's revolving rooftop bars. It's an OK bar but with outstanding views. Situated on top of the mountain accessed by the Dajti Express cable car. The cable car journey is worth it alone. The surrounding national park offers various activities from hiking to archery and even crazy golf. So the bar is a great place to chill out after any of those activities

We stayed one night at Artist City Center and had a very good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well located in the city center. The balcony was a nice bonus and perfect to relax. Check-in was easy and the host was friendly. Good value for one night stay. I recommend this place

Stayed at City Center Urban Hotel for a weekend in Tirana and had a really great time. The place is super clean, comfy, and just steps from everything. Bargain room with in walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Tirana. We went for the Christmas market and to explore the city. Clean but basic. I’d stay there again as good value and good location. Was a little difficult to find using Google maps. Staff very friendly. Good coffee. Looked after our luggage for no additional charge.

Really to say it was hard to believe to find such a well located Hotel with 35 euro. We was charged 5 euro more for the Private parking which is understandable too into that area. The Room itself was partly renovated but still need to do. The Bathroom was modern and clean. Anyway for 35 euro, it was great quality.

The price-performance ratio is acceptable. Breakfast is basic, room facilities are basic, there are no blankets or kettles, only thin blankets, and the stairs have no railings, which is unsafe for patients, the elderly, and children. The hotel tax should be 135 LEK, but they demanded 210 LEK in cash, or two euros (190 LEK), which felt like they were overcharging.

I was traveling through Europe by motorcycle and stopped by Albania on my way back! I stopped by the capital for the night and found a hotel to stay overnight! The apartment was as described, everything was fine. The internet connection wasn't great, and breakfast wasn't a buffet (as seen in one of the pictures), but rather you could choose from two breakfast options that were brought to your table.

I had an amazing stay at Sky 2 Hotel . From the friendly staff at check-in to the spotless, comfortable room, everything was perfect. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was like a mini spa. Situated 5 mins from the airport bus stop and maybe 7 minutes from skanderbeg square livia is also close to the new bazaar and castle of tirana. There was not both water sufficient for bath with one person bathing the hot water stopped. No water bottles for drinking given have to buy your own water or drink the sink water.

I have stayed here 3x I find it really friendly the staff super helpful Twice I came as a solo traveller and once with my daughter- location is great for me and the breakfast is superb even for vegetarians..... Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, there is a bus stop just outside the hotel to take you to town and Teg shopping centre. No need for a taxi, the bus is very reliable every 5-10 minutes. I loved my stay at Privilege Hotel & Spa. I would return and I recommend the hotel.

Economical and very good value for money. Just views of buildings but that doesnt matter when visiting a city. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. An excellent base to see central Tirana from. Just remember to bring a travel adaptor for plugs so you can charge phone etc. Or buy them from a small hardware shop 90 seconds walk away for less than 2 euro!!!

Very poor WiFi signal. Even the mobile internet was poor. The shower was nice but there was no shower platform and the whole bathroom got wet. There's a certain odour in the room that doesn't get off. Maybe it's the wood. It was quiet and nice service.
