Go up on the gondola if you are not a skier, it’s great to be so far up in the mountains, views are amazing! Sun shine was amazing too and warmer up there than on ground! Great cafeteria, restaurant, great vibe, plenty to people watch, have a code, beer, wine, food etc., lovely time to chill and relax or/and meet up with skiers for lunch etc., €19 for 2 trips up the mountain on gondola. Can get bus from Andorra La Vella too.

Now waiting 2 weeks for confirmation , as promised to my credit card of compulsory deposit . No response to Pierre and Vacances or the residence reception. So very disappointing

Clean apartment with good space for 1 or 2 people and everything that you need. About a 5 min walk to the gondola station.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment in block 5. It was small and basic but perfect for our needs and very clean. Kitchen - oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, dishwasher, washing machine and all cutlery, crockery and utensils. Living room - pull out sofa bed, tv and dining table for 4. Bedroom - double bed, cupboards with hanging space and two drawers. Space for clothing could do to be bigger for 4 people. We had to keep a lot of clothes in our bags due to not enough storage space. Bathroom - lovely and clean, shower was powerful though each room has its own hot water boiler so when 4 people are taking showers you can't be in there too long!! Balcony - wasn't really a balcony and the view was of another building. Ski locker - each room has its own private locker down in the garage. Was a great space for snowboards, helmets and boots. All were dry the next morning. Location - El Tarter is pretty quiet in the evenings though there are a couple of apres ski bars and a few restaurants. We ate in Aliga - food was amazing and service was great and Manacor which was also amazing, best for steak! There's a large supermarket with everything you could ever need about 10/15 minutes walk away (next to Manacor restaurant). There's a smaller supermarket with a nice cafe about 5 mins walk behind the apartments. Short walk to the main chairlift and gondola just beyond. Was uphill on the way back! With 2 kids, 2 sets of skis and 2 snowboards, we thought it was fine and actually a nice warm up! We got the Granvalira lift pass with lunches included. It was definitely worth it as we worked out we probably saved about £150! All food places across the whole ski area accepts the voucher at the self service/fast food outlets. So includes hot sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pizza all came with fries and a drink and pasta at the pasta box with a drink (drinks included beer and wine!) you can pay a couple of euros for upgrades on the food in some places. Ski area was vast and never short of something new to try. Lift queues were absolutely fine. There's an area with a mountain coaster, zip line and tubing. The coaster was brilliant fun! We didn't try the others as they weren't open. Transfer time from Toulouse airport was about 3 hrs which included a stop off half way for the loo and refreshments. Would definitely go back 😀

The beds were the worst! Very uncomfortable!
Nobody told us where to throw the trash. It was outside in the street we had to take it with us in the car.

Very comfortable and spacious aparthotel, comfortable bed, very close to the Incles Valley for hiking. The receptionist was super friendly. Nothing bad to say.

Room for Improvement
The stay was... unusual. The village is very quiet, perhaps a little too quiet, and the view doesn't really add any charm. The apartment remains quite dark most of the day, but at least there's no risk of sunburn.

The television is placed in a rather surprising way: you can only enjoy it from a specific spot on the sofa, and it's invisible from the dining table. There's no TV in the bedroom either, which can be seen as a good thing... or not.

The fridge, meanwhile, didn't leave us alone for a second thanks to its constant noise, especially at night. And the water heater, which is far too small, requires timing showers—two people is already limited.

In summary: a functional apartment but one that could benefit from improvements to truly offer a pleasant stay.

The food was not great. Onion soup was dull. Hamburger with french fries was so-so. Good that you can eat there before other restaurants open in the evening.
