Fantastic place to stay! Initially stayed for 9 days but it ended up being 15 days!
Very friendly and welcoming staff all around the hotel. Great atmosphere.

Food and specially dinner was just amazing with plenty of variety and choices. A very good chef indeed, probably one of the best I have ever experienced and I am not exagerating...

Location was perfect, 7km from a ski resort and the views from the hotel were awesome, overlooking the snowy mountains and landscape.

Definately a place to come back for sure.
Thanks to the director and all the staff for making this a special stay.

The room is comfy but I ask service room at 23:00 after a long day, asking a “Bocadillo de Tortilla Francesa con Jamón Dulce” oh my god, THE BEST BOCADILLO I ate in my life, ultra good food, ultra good restaurant food, the service impecable, real real comfy place quality / price.

We booked this hotel for a cosy week away in the snow and cold, hoped for a spa, good food and a comfy room to watch movies, but what we were met with was the farthest thing from all of this despite advertising. The spa is an added cost PER USE despite the expensive room, the breakfast was, quite frankly, disgusting and cold, (the hot stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages), and the Wi-Fi was SO SLOW we couldn’t watch a thing on netflix. For five days. We ended up leaving early, because not only was our stay god AWFUL, (we were denied a kettle and forced to order ‘room service’ for tea, (where nothing was brought to the room we had to go get it from the bar), and €5 for a bottle of water is insane, in my opinion. Nothing was complimentary despite the hefty room charge, no robes, no slippers, nothing. Laundry service took five days, and cost €35, and was the only thing keeping us at that sub-par hotel for as long as we did. €1000 wasted for crappy service, cold food, slow WiFi, and an overpriced €40 a visit spa with 3 “aroma therapy” rooms where only 2 worked, where we had to practically beg to get a glass of water because staff where too busy on their phones. Never go here.

Normally, Booking.com does me a dirty when booking places. I booked one night here and ended up staying for five. Upon my arrival I was met by staff and offered bag carrying. There is free parking out front ( snow brush and ice scraper available) or for 11 euros per night there is a garage. I had two dogs with me who slept in the vehicle, this was not an issue as all rooms are not road facing, if they had barked it would not have disturbed anyone. Just a two minute walk up the road is a trail to the river and park. Elleven minutes drive is Ordino Arcalis ski resort ( also free parking).

My room had a heated floor, very owerful shower that maintained a constant temperature always, big double bed, large TV with all apps, USB and plug sockets each side of the bed. Room has a fridge. The hotel's wifi is fast with a strong connection. Plenty of very nice towels, robes also at no additional charge ( makes a nice change). The room has a thermostat which has very little lag on bringing the temperature up or down, impressive in a large room. The cleaner is exceptionally thorough and the room was turned out beautifully every day even down to mopping the floors. The staff are totally on point, super helpful and accommodating. They arranged the veterinary appointment for my dogs travel back to UK at no extra charge also. My medical conditions ( allergies) were taken into consideration and my room allocated away from the restaurant ( note I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment outside of breakfast). My room had a lovelly balcony with views down the valley and of the river cascading down the rocks.

The Spa: I used this twice. Once it was busy and quite noisy and another time I had the place to myself which was Bliss. The Spa was an additional fee for 90minute session. The hot stone beds being my favourite. I spent an hour on one ( there are four) listening to audio books. The sauna and steam room are very good, the pool isn't big enough to swim in, worth noting. Good range of hydro jets and massage functions in the pool. There is also a gym on site and masseur offering various massages including sports.

Breakfast: service is over 2 hours so it was not rushed nor crowded, I ate at various times and the food was kept fresh. Once the staff knew what you liked they were on point the next days, Remembering where you like to sit and what you need/want ( e.g. extra spoon, milk for tea, crispy bacon, your cheese melting on your eggs etc).

This place is a gem! I really enjoyed my weekend stay in this beautiful location, the restaurant’s food was top notch (I tried their half board dinner menus on both nights and they were different, diverse and delicious - I included just some of the photos of the food, the rest was gone before I took a picture), breakfast selection was quite good as well. The best for me was the attention of the stuff - everyone is nice and kind, and the location - very peaceful surrounding, great views, close to the Tristania lakes hike. I also tried their spa - exactly what my body needed after the full day of hiking - it’s compact and has everything to relax and unwind. I recommend staying here and will go back myself.

Unfortunately, very disappointing experience. We booked a room for 2 adults as our small daughter sleeping with us together. In the ‘Property policy’ it’s pointed that children from 18 years old considered as adults and nothing more regarding children, except “the children of all ages are welcome”.
When we arrived after long drive at the reception at night manager asked us to pay for the room with 3 beds despite we were telling that our child sleeps with us, he was referring to Hotel policy, but there is no a word about it. He refused us to check in the booked room, so we had to left and find another hotel, because we didn’t need a triple room.
