We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on a half-board basis.
The positives:
For ski lovers, the location is excellent. The hotel is literally right across from the Canillo gondola that takes you up the mountain, which makes getting on and off incredibly convenient. There is also a practical ski room where you can easily store your equipment.
The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant team, who were consistently kind and attentive.
The downsides:
The room itself is quite basic. The bed was not very comfortable, and the bathroom was small and built in a very uncomfortable way. While the room was tidied every day, the level of cleanliness was not particularly high.
Although the restaurant staff are very pleasant, the food is far from healthy or high-quality and became repetitive over time.
Overall, a great location for skiing and nice staff, but the rooms and food could use improvement.

The rooms are nice, the location is great, the service is excellent. The people are really nice and helpful. The food wasn't always to my taste.

Super kind staff!
Clean and nice SPA with sauna, Turkish bad and cold room swimming pool and jacuzzi.
You need to book in advance and you have an 1h slot. It is small but the maximum number of people per slot is well adjusted to the space.
The food quality could be improved it is a bit inconsistent;

I really enjoyed my stay here! The service was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in my offer and it was the typical buffet style, but with good quality food and lots of options to choose from.
The front desk team was especially kind and always ready to help with anything, which is very important point for me!!! You could see that they liked what they were doing!
My room was nice and spacious with a very comfy bed, so I slept really well. The only tiny downside was the view from my room since I was on the first floor, but honestly that didn’t bother me much at all.
Last but not least, the spa was a really nice bonus.I especially appreciated the adults-only time after 17, which made it a very relaxing experience. When I was there, a few children stayed until about 17h30, but it wasn’t a problem and overall I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Overall, everything was perfect and I’d definitely come back!

Excellent hotel in Canillo, just after Andorra. Absolutely preferable to the busy Andorra and the locals who drive like they are perpetually competing with tourists. Hotel that meets all expectations, quick check-in and check-out, friendly and helpful. In summer the restaurant is closed, but at the café-bar they serve some snacks that are a good substitute for dinner. We had a double hamburger and fried chicken fingers, all very good at a fair price. The room is also very good, large, very comfortable bed. My wife and I slept very well. The plus is given by the presence of the bidet in the bathroom, almost impossible to finf in those areas. The breakfast was also very good, there was everything we needed and more. The motorbike was parked in the underground garage for a small supplement. The total price paid was absolutely honest and in line with the quality and services offered, if I were to return to those parts again I would definitely return to the Font d'Argent. Thank you and to everyone.

What a fantastic hotel, great service, lovely staff, wonderful food, close to the gondola. Restaurant was well run by Virginia and her staff, food was amazing, lots of choice for all the family. Cocktail bar was great for a drink before or after dinner, Hugo was very knowledgeable and did great cocktails. Reception staff were always very helpful and the housekeeping was excellent, our rooms were kept spotlessly clean. We will return

Stayed here for a short, two-night stay and it proved to be a great first experience in Andorra. It is easily reachable by public transportation from Andorra la Vella as it is located on the main road and it’s also great basis to visit the famous ******* bridge and the Roc del Quer viewpoint. The room was super comfortable with both a bath tub and a shower and lots of storage space. Especially enjoyed the breakfast with lots of local tastes and flavors. The reception staff was a highlight, they went out of their way with kindness and hospitality. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if returning for hiking in the nearby gorgeous mountain ranges.

we had a bad experience. first we booked two massages three days before. on the day it was supposed to happen we were told that the masseuse was sick and they had to cancel our order. ok. no problem. but when we checked out of the hotel at four in the morning there was no notification in the computer that the masseuse was sick and there were no massages and we were persistently asked to pay 150€ for two massages that did not happen!!!
