Comfortable resort in a traditional Alpine style with excellent Wellness centre where you can relax after skiing in the mountains. It offers bright and cosy rooms, delicious food and a friendly welcome.

Renovated: 2010

Location: in the centre of Gerlos, about 50 km from Innsbruck airport, to the airports of Munich and 125 km, Salzburg - 96, 1200 m from the ski lift, skibus stop is opposite the hotel.

Consists of a 4 storey building.

The hotel has 82 rooms.

Attention! Saturday is the main day of arrival/departure to most hotels in ski resorts. In this regard, the rate for the duration is not equal to 7 and 14 nights, and the ability to confirm the rooms with arrivals/departures, other than a Saturday, require additional perepodchinenie upon booking for all hotels, published online in the status "on request".

It was at least 20 years ago when my husband and I were on a road trip from the UK, and came upon the village of Gerlos, and the fabulous hotel Gaspingerhof, we visited many times after that first visit. I have just returned from a 10 day stay with a friend.The hotel is immaculate, the food and staff first class, not many English people visit Gerlos but that’s not a reason not to, the walking is spectacular, five valley walks and many mountain trails for the more adventurous hiker, the hotel has a resident guide to accompany you if you wish. There are a number of hotels in the village, we never booked somewhere different there was no need to. We have never been during the skiing season, but the hotel is fully booked, that’s the best recommendation you can get. Google the village of Gerlos Austria, in the beautiful region of the Zitteral Alps and especially the hotel Gaspingerhof.

After more than 30 years of experience as a guest at Gaspingerhof, I can only give them the highest rating for service, food, rooms, spa and more. During the winter season as well as during the summer season An exceptionally good hotel which I strongly recommend.

I just returned yesterday from an 8-day vacation at Hotel Gaspingerhof in Gerlos, Austria, and it couldn't have been better! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the spa is delightful! From Erick, the extremely knowledgeable tour guide, and Michaela, the delightful massage and facial therapist, to the delicious five course meals, the lovely swimming pool, and my clean, beautiful room everything was just as I had hoped it would be for my first vacation in the Alps. Not to mention that the mountains, valleys, forests, streams, and wildflowers surrounding Gerlos are magnificent.

Very good, but it was better in the past! We were in your hotel in 2005 and 2017. A number of things changed and disappeared since then: - no longer thema-evenings for dinner (ex. BBQ evening, italian dinner, dessert buffet, ... - no longer musical entertainment in the evening (ex. Tiroler music, ... we even could dance in 2017) - no longer 'Sekt' at breakfast - no longer hiking tours with a guide, at least not very encouraged.

We went on a family vacation to Gerlos and stayed at this hotel. Positives: Our hotel room was comfortable. The beds were nice and we slept well. The swimming pool, although crowded, is great. The outdoor pool was very popular with the kids. Nice to have the sauna after a day of skiing. The playing gym for the kids (with movie nights and kids disco) is a great addition with the lovely Dragi to watch over the kids. The hotel is situated very close / walking distance to the ski rental and main lift. The ski bus to the kids lift stops right in front of the hotel. Lots of families so many kids to play together. Negatives: We didn’t like some of the staff members: our waiter most evenings was not friendly and didn’t smile once. One receptionist was terribly rude while the others were all polite and helpful. We didn’t like the food. It was way too salty for our taste. The kids menu was not healthy so our kids ate cucumbers from The salad bar and a lot of plain pasta.

The stay was super. Good staff, service, food, location, kids club, etc.. It just feels like home... we only stayed 5 days, but the holiday was great. We had the junior suite room #222, and it was super clean and nice. Our kids from 9 and 11 had great fun at the kids club (thanks Leonie).

I stayed for 8 days in an apartment in the Bergjuwel complex, which has direct access to the rest of the hotel. The apartment was all new, spacey, and felt like a luxury. It had everything you needed. The staff was beyond friendly and the hotel has a quiet and friendly and very relaxing atmosphere. It is a place with a lot of regulars coming back year after year - having existed since 1932. I was traveling alone and it was fine. There were also many families with children. There is a nice quiet garden and an indoor and outdoor pool. My only complaint would be, that the restaurant is only open for dinner between 1800 and 2000 and that they do not automatically serve outside on a nice warm summer evening. In that sense, it does seem like an old-fashioned place. If you are traveling without children, it can be nice to go out for a late dinner, say 2000 or 2030. But then there are several other restaurants in Gerlos to choose from. Will I be back: Yes I will book again at Gaspingerhof next year.

I highly reccomend Gaspingerhof Hotel. Pleasent staff, spacious and very clean rooms, good food, lovely pool and a bice bar close to reception. We will be back! The hotel has also the option ( connection) to go directly to the gondola. This is a big plus for skieers.
