We had booked to stay here for 2nights while travelling around Bulgaria. It all started well when we arrived the guy on reception was really polite and checked us in. We had booked an apartment so I would be able to use the kitchen to prepare meals. Upon arriving in the room the kitchen was empty... Not a plate, pot, pan or even any cutlery. I asked the guy on reception about this and he brought up these items. The room also looked very mistreated, there was a chunk missing from the sofa arm rest, holes and cracks in the walls, blinds were tangled and broken. I still can't understand why there would be a kitchen with absolutely nothing in it! We also noticed we had a room below the restaurant, which you were able to here noise from there in our room it wasn't constantly or excessive. We then checked out the spa and gym and it was really nice and everyone was really friendly. Then at around 12am when I was in bed, there was banging and shouting coming from the room nextdoor, it was unbelievable... A group of guys sounded like they were smashing up the place! I went to reception and was given another room at the other end of the hotel. I know its no fault of the hotel but I can only assume the type of people staying here are pretty inconsiderate drunks. I had hoped it was going to be an upmarket hotel as the pics looked great. Any way I didn't stay the next night and instead found a lovely quiet hotel else where, I highly recommend sofia life apartments.

Went for a coffee with a friend staying there. Looks like a deserted place, must bee seriously understaffed, we were lucky to find someone to order pour coffee but when we wanted to pay we had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to show and when nobody did, we went to find the server in a back room where he was doing other works. Cleaning and vacuum of the cafe area was done at 11 in the morning regardless of the presence of clients, 20 minutes with a vacuum cleaner noise. Coffee unfortunately and as usual in this country a black watery tasteless black liquid. The room I visited was OK, but not serviced every day and even if you ask you might just get your towels changed...Can be a solution if you are on business-oriented one or two nights and you want to avoid city hassle and get a good price

Very good hotel with lovely enviorment, close to the city center but out of the city jam and noice. Great spa center, jacuzzy, hammam, sauna, hot tubes, and a great fitness center. Very clean rooms and bathrooms
