It's a good value for the price. But it is no frills place - just the bare minimum. There's also no breakfast available. But the rooms are quite spacious.

Advice to the management: one small pillow is really not enough.

Nice location, big rooms but the drain in the shower is very clog and the aircon doesn't work, has an "F1" error, wifi is very slow.

Good value cheap hotel close by to the main shopping street and attractions. Clean rooms, a bit dated but ok.

It was a good experience and hotel is in close proximity to main walking street. Can walk to most of the city attractions from the hotel. I did use the metro to get to the hotel from airport and after that 3 days of walking to cover all the major attractions.
I extended my stay and they booked me in the other part of their hotel for an extra night at a lower price.

The stay was very nice and comfortable. The rooms are quite cozy and some of them are spacious.
But most of all I'd like to mention the friendliness of the staff, especially the check in counter. Very courteous and super helpful.
Eva especially was amazing and helped out with booking a few tours and pub crawls. She made us feel welcomed. Thank you Eva and Team Sofia Place.

For the prices it has, we were not happy... we asked for a double bed and paid based on that, but it had two single beds pushed together.. The only good thing is that it is in the center.. but good luck finding parking if you don't want to use their own parking lot... 15€ for 24 hours parking which is extra.. and it is good to check if they have availability as it is small and only has a limited number of spaces. For the same money and less we found much better, the truth is..

This hotel is horrible. The rooms were so dirty and run down. My room was 28 degrees and the AC didn’t even work ?? The covers were so dirty and stained and I felt digested sleeping in the bed. The pictures are nothing like what the rooms actually look like as if they were taken like 10 years ago. Half of my family got a separate room that wasn’t even in the hotel and it was on a whole different street. I felt very unsafe in the hotel as the workers were so rude and unprofessional and wanted to act as if they were the boss of us. Also 5 hours after I left the hotel i realised I had forgotten my charger. We rang the hotel and the staff were incredibly rude and didn’t want to give it back. My charger was very expensive as it was an original charger from Apple and it also included the adapter. Only after we called them for the third time and we told them we were gonna call the police that they decided to give it back. They are thief's and tried to rob us. I strongly advise NOT going to this hotel.

I really like the hotel; it’s in the best location in all of Sofia! I stay at Sofia Place Hotel every time I’m in town. The reception staff is wonderful, and the rooms are very large and spacious! I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

Very rude, agresive and unprofessional staff. Rooms were extremely hot, air conditioning doesn’t work. Also very dirty. Booked the room in the hotel, but got a guest house room from other side of the hotel, rest of my family stayed separately, entrance compleately from the different side, I had to walk around outside the building.
I had very unprofessional situation with them. I have left my charger, called later and they said there is no charger been found. I asked to check, that they told me they have found only adapter. I said I have left it beside my bed. Only after I said I will call police they gave me it back. Very unprofessional and rude talking on the phone, laughing, she asked will I you call a police only for a charger.
