Dynasty Business Hotel in Shenzhen

Awful, just awful.

I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. I booked it for a trip to Hong Kong, but I was exhausted walking to the subway station – it's so far! It's also really far from Shenzhen's beaches. I'd recommend staying near the Civic Center subway station, or paying more to stay closer to other ports. Luohu Port is much livelier and closer to the sea than this area.

!!!! The hygiene was absolutely terrible !!!! The first day I checked in, I immediately saw bugs flying around. I can't believe the cleaning staff doesn't use a vacuum cleaner. My friend and I both had bed bug bites. When we got back, we had to wash all our clothes at high temperatures and sun-dry them, and even then, we were still worried about bringing bed bugs home. Now my legs, back, neck, and waist are covered in bites!!! I'm speechless.

The service was mediocre. We stayed for three consecutive nights, and we even paid a high price for it. They initially tried to give us a corner room, and if I hadn't asked, they would have given us a noisy one.

The room type was awful! I've stayed in 30-square-meter rooms before, but this one felt like only 25 square meters – are they trying to fool people? The first picture I took shows almost the entire width of the room, excluding the bathroom. The bed is 1.8 meters long, and the aisle is less than 1 meter. Anyone who sees it would laugh!

I swear on my future and my career, if you have other options, please choose another hotel. Paying a little extra is worth it. Being bitten by bed bugs is one thing, but you won't even feel comfortable at home afterward!!! And considering they host foreigners, who knows what other bugs might be lurking around?

If you absolutely have to stay here, buy insurance in case you get hives from the bites. The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Futian Port for trips to Hong Kong Disneyland, which is a short taxi ride away (around 10-20 RMB). However, if you're going to Hong Kong or Macau, and you plan to catch an 8:30 AM train, you'll have to wake up by 7 AM to get ready without makeup. Seriously, if you're booking a hotel in advance for a holiday, just spend a few hundred more to stay somewhere else. Splitting the cost with your companions won't add much to your bill. I'm so itchy!
