We’ve enjoyed the stay in Shangri-La. The hotel was a bit overcrowded (the dates we’ve checked in was also the dates of APEC forum), but we didn’t feel it overall. Great tennis court and very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Hope to come back soon!

Everything was absolutely wonderful, the environment is truly beyond words! It was stunning! On our way out, after checking out, as we were driving off, there was a puddle in the basement parking lot. I stepped in it, and it was sticky! Something fell to the ground, and it was yellow... I was so shocked at the time that I didn't take a picture! Despite that, everything else was beautiful, and that last little incident won't diminish my praise for this hotel!

Revisiting this place, I was most worried about my child's disrupted routine and picky eating. However, this hotel truly embodies 'child-friendly' in every detail. From the ready-to-use children's slippers and toothbrushes to the adorable yellow duck decorations, my baby absolutely loved watching the boats come and go on the river from behind the large French windows. A good night's sleep for the whole family is the best gift this hotel offers for our trip. ❤️

I visited during the May Day holiday. The front desk service was good, and the room was clean. The cleaning staff were friendly and thorough. I loved the beautiful view from the room, especially the night view. It's close to the Pudong Art Museum, and it was lovely to take a walk downstairs in the morning or go for a bike ride. There are also many Western restaurants downstairs, which was very convenient. The breakfast was noteworthy, especially the pastries – the croissants and other baked goods were excellent. Overall, it was a great experience!

A very satisfying stay! The view was fantastic, with unbeatable river scenery. The room was incredibly comfortable and the service was attentive and spot-on. My husband forgot his charger at another hotel the day before, and after calling customer service, a replacement charger was delivered very quickly. We really appreciate that! For families with children, the sofa bed can be opened, making it very spacious for a family of three.

Special thanks to Winnie, the lovely lady at the front desk, who gave us a little gift when we checked out. Our child was absolutely thrilled!

We will definitely choose to stay at Shangri-La again next time.

The location is superb, and the river view from the room is breathtaking. The bedding is comfortable, and the service is incredibly responsive. The breakfast is rich and varied, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes. Although the room's decor and facilities are a bit dated, it's understandable for a hotel that's been open for decades. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right next to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Lujiazui. As an international five-star hotel, the service is impeccable, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable, especially the bedding – I had a wonderful night's sleep. Summer Fan from the staff handled my check-out with such attentiveness, making me feel right at home.

The room is spacious, clean, and bright. While it's a bit older than other hotels, the decor has a unique charm. The hotel staff are very gentle and attentive, especially the ladies at the front desk and the cleaning crew—highly recommended! I usually stay in Puxi, but this time it was lovely to see the Oriental Pearl Tower's night view up close from Pudong. We drove here, and the route was clear. The parking spaces are wide, and there are even extra-large spots and charging stations. The only tricky part is the sharp right turn at the exit, which takes a bit of maneuvering.

I brought an inspection team to Shanghai this time, and our itinerary was packed. I initially thought the hotel would just be a place to sleep, but the Pudong Shangri-La truly exceeded my expectations.

The moment I stepped into the room, the Bund river view outside the window immediately washed away most of my fatigue. Especially at night, gazing at the lit-up Huangpu River really makes you marvel at Shanghai's charm. What I want to praise most is their service – it wasn't a cold, distant politeness, but a genuine feeling of 'home.'

Because I had meetings, I often left early and returned late. Once, I casually asked where I could find hot congee. Not only did the front desk staff patiently give me directions, but the next morning at breakfast, they actually proactively asked me if I had rested well. This feeling of being cared for is truly heartwarming in fast-paced Lujiazui.

And the view from the Executive Lounge is absolutely breathtaking! Sipping coffee while looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower, my efficiency for organizing inspection notes significantly improved there. The breakfast selection was so extensive it was almost overwhelming, and every bite showcased the exquisite quality expected of a five-star hotel.

Even though it's an older landmark in Shanghai, its steady elegance and just-right warmth still make it my top choice. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I'll definitely stay here again!

This hotel boasts an excellent location on the Huangpu River, right in the heart of the city, with a direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. You can step downstairs and walk along the river, enjoying fantastic views of both the river and the city skyline. I booked a river-view room in the Purple Gold Tower, and the kind gentleman at the front desk even upgraded me to a river-view suite – it was absolutely stunning! The Bund and Huangpu River across the way are beautiful both day and night. The value for money here is exceptional. Even the complimentary Evian mineral water for tea was a nice touch. You can easily walk to the Huangpu River and iconic landmarks right from the hotel. The executive lounge's breakfast and dinner were exquisite and delicious, and the drinks were great too, all while enjoying amazing views. I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful trip. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

The manager tried to tell me, a USA native, that all the sauces on the menu are buffalo sauce. I ordered my wings with medium sauce only to receive some plain and greasy wings. I told her that buffalo sauce is an orange color and that it is not the same as Chipotle or BBQ sauce. I showed her pictures on the menu of what buffalo sauce look liked but she still did not get. She continued to show her ignorance and I eventually gave up. Who promoted this lady?

the food was not that taste but very expensive. i wont go there again and the wings are to me not even as good as the wings from KFC. It is maybe a place nice for the Americans who misses their hometown culture....

As experience, it is not bad. It's a very typical american place, mostly for men I will say.
Waitresses are nice and every specific time, they start singing and dancing and lalala. They are for giving conversation to guys haha
The food was average, but I liked the drinks. The Cosmo was good!

Went here earlier in the year-June 2016. Don't eat beef so was a little skeptical - but then there was nothing else worth it in the mall. Saw its sign everyday walking to work while I was visiting Shanghai

We entered from the back entrance and were seated within 30 seconds. 2 of us.

We ordered 1 salad, 2 mains, 3 glasses of wine and a dessert. Don't remember the bill but suffice to say agree with some.of the other reviews - it was a bit pricey.

I had the sea bass fillet (if my memory serves me correct, in any case it was fish)- it melted in my mouth. Outstanding.

The service was impeccable with a smile.

Excellent service, outstanding food, but expensive - should have got a 4. But the service was just too good.

They have a great lunch and dinner menu. For lunch, try the burger and the tacos with Morton's Salad. Every serving also comes with bread and butter.

The dinner itself was delicious. The chopped spinach salad and key lime pie a favorite. The beef was also cooked very well. Portions are really huge, we struggled to finish.
Wine by the glass is however quite expensive, it almost turned out cheaper to buy a who bottle rather than two glasses.

The staff was very attentive and we never had to wait for our glasses to be topped up or struggle to get the waiters attention.
