Kerry Hotel Pudong in Shanghai

Huge thanks to Elio for the warm and thoughtful service! I rarely leave reviews, but I absolutely have to commend Kerry Hotel and Elio this time. I booked a family room, and Elio proactively reached out before our stay to discuss our needs. I mentioned we had a young baby and safety was a priority, especially regarding glass items and bed rails. Upon check-in, we were so pleasantly surprised! Elio had arranged for all sharp corners to be padded and three bed rails were already installed. The kangaroo-themed decor was a hit with our little one, especially the tent and the magic cube – they had a blast. While there wasn't a huge amount for younger babies to do in the kids' play area, the service and facilities were excellent, and the air quality was much better than at Nailbao. It's great for active play. The package was for one adult and one child, and Elio even waived the fee for the extra adult we had with us when we checked out. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back for another weekend getaway with our child.

Great location, right next to a shopping mall. Overall good, with comfortable bedding. Thumbs up! The front desk service is also excellent. Century Park is right by the hotel, so you can take some time to explore it. Highly recommend!

This hotel is great for both business and families. It's conveniently located near the Science and Technology Museum, and Kerry Parkside offers plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The kids' club is excellent; my child absolutely loved it. I accidentally fell, and the staff and manager immediately brought me several ice packs and even called to check on me the next day. The executive lounge is good, with a decent variety of food options. While the selection doesn't change much daily, the quality is consistently high. The alcohol selection in the lounge is generally satisfactory. I would likely return, especially since the value for money is quite good when there isn't a convention happening.

The hotel's location is excellent. The playground and pool are perfect for tiring out the kids. There's a shopping mall and a park nearby, which is very convenient. My children had a great time. The hotel's three restaurants offer good quality and value for money. The only minor drawback is that children's bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries were not provided.

This time I brought my child to Shanghai and stayed at the Shangri-La, Kerry, and Melia hotels. Traveling with a child, I really have to give Kerry a 10/10 – it's truly the ultimate hotel for family travel!

We had a 1.5-year-old toddler, and the room was incredibly clean (my little one ran around barefoot/in white socks, and they stayed spotless, which shows how clean it was!). Daily housekeeping was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk, restaurant, fitness center, kids' club, housekeeping, service center, to the concierge, was exceptionally friendly and actively interacted with our baby, promptly addressing any issues. While the room facilities are a bit older compared to the Front Bund Shangri-La (no smart switches, for example), they were perfectly adequate.

The surrounding area is absolutely perfect for kids. If it rains, you can still enjoy the kids' club or stroll through the mall. On sunny days, there are several non-powered play areas right outside and Century Park directly across the street!

My husband, who loves to work out, couldn't stop praising the gym. He said it was on the level of a professional gym, much larger and with far superior equipment than the Shangri-La's gym.

The swimming pool, basketball court, and tennis court are all on the rooftop, offering great natural light, cleanliness, and quiet. There's also a children's swimming area (though it was a tiny bit chilly).

Breakfast was fantastic for families with kids: mild-flavored vegetables, plain noodles, six different egg preparations, various meats, carbs, and plenty of dietary fiber. It was very abundant, even more so than the Shangri-La's – perfect for families traveling with children!

Having stayed in Shanghai for many days, Kerry is truly my favorite, hands down!

The family room was so much fun for kids, as soon as we entered, my child was drawn to all the 'Jiajia the Kangaroo' themed elements! The room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with a tent, toys, and kids' toiletries. The welcome gift at check-in made it feel really special. Downstairs is Shanghai's largest indoor children's playground, and my child played there all day long, not wanting to leave. Parents can also relax in the fitness area, it's truly a one-stop paradise for entertaining kids!

Although I only stayed for one day, I was impressed by the customer service. I'll happily come back again.

This was my second stay within a week, specifically because of the hotel's gym and spa. This time, I tried the executive lounge. The ambiance was great, and the happy hour snacks were quite substantial and of good quality. I especially enjoyed some of the local cold dishes and the Greek salad. Breakfast was also in the lounge; although the variety was simpler than the main restaurant downstairs, it was more than enough for me. Before breakfast, I took advantage of the excellent running track in Century Park, which was a fantastic experience. My room also had a minibar, perfect for a cup of tea. I love this hotel's location; it's very friendly for sports enthusiasts, and I highly recommend it. I've already booked my next stay here again.

This truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate 'lie flat' and kid-friendly hotel in Shanghai. Every time I bring my child back to China, we always stay at the Kerry Hotel for two nights. With its large indoor playground, swimming pool, restaurants, and bars, it's a one-stop shop for eating, drinking, and entertaining the kids, perfect for completely 'lying flat' after a long flight.

This time, I tried to check in at 7 AM and was told I needed to book the previous night's room, which initially left me a bit disappointed. However, upon arrival, we were upgraded to an executive room, and my happiness instantly soared.

Special shout-outs to a few staff members: Ms. Selina gave my daughter a Kerry kangaroo plush toy, and my child was absolutely thrilled; Irene helped us arrange a late check-out and a refund for the parking fee, which was incredibly thoughtful. Honestly, every staff member was very enthusiastic and made us feel welcome.

The buffet at the restaurant was also delicious, and the overall experience was very satisfying. I'll definitely book this hotel again on our next trip back to China.
