However, checking in was like queuing up for a flight. While waiting, a nice young man offered me a cup of tea. After waiting for about five minutes, it was my turn. The lady at the front desk took my ID without a single word of welcome or a smile. She was busy on her phone dealing with some room issues, then told me, 'Thanks for waiting.' To be honest, the check-in experience felt far from welcoming, which was a bit disappointing. Later that evening, when I ordered takeout, I had to go downstairs to pick it up myself. I had just finished a hot bath and had to get fully dressed to go get my food! 😂 Luckily, the weather wasn't cold. And then, I was woken up in the middle of the night by kids having a loud party next door. 😂😂😂
Cleanliness: Very clean, and the attention to detail in all areas is great.
Location: Also fantastic.
Ambiance: Really liked it.
Service: The concierge, Jack Rookie, was excellent!
It was like staying in one of the victorian style palaces
Everything is so clean, room service is amazing all the stuff is so polite and helpful 👏
Location is also perfect right in the middle of bund with beautiful view and lots of restaurants and attraction all around
