Regent Shanghai Pudong in Shanghai

Staff very friendly & service standard is high. Huge & comfy room which comes w complimentary mini bar. Down side is we were awaken morning due to work outside of the window with workers on gondola. Feedback to hotel front desk & seems they didn't knw there is external work going on but they will find out & inform guest if needed. Paid for bf at hotel, spread is reasonable.

Regent Shanghai Pudong is located in the heart of Lujiazui, offering stunning views of the Huangpu River. The rooms are elegantly modern, with subtle luxurious touches. The attentive and thoughtful service makes every guest feel welcome, and both the selection of amenities and the high-altitude swimming pool experience are impressive. Its excellent location provides easy access to shopping and transportation, perfectly embodying the ideal urban getaway.

The front desk upgraded me to a city view suite. The room was huge and really comfortable, with a great layout that made it feel just like home. I stayed for four days and didn't miss home at all. Taking a bath in the tub after my workout each day was incredibly relaxing.

The Regent Shanghai Pudong boasts an excellent location right next to the 'three-piece suit' skyscrapers. The rooms are quite spacious, the facilities are well-maintained, and the service is commendable. Before I even checked in, the hotel service consultant proactively reached out to me and promptly resolved my parking issue. Upon departure, I even received a small gift. It would be even better if they could offer more variety in their breakfast options in the future.

The hotel was very generous and upgraded us to a suite, which was a definite plus. The location and the views were both incredible. The staff at the front desk and the club were also very helpful. I would definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit!

Overall, no major issues, especially given the solid foundation of the old Four Seasons and the Regent brand. The service was impeccable, with staff from the front office to housekeeping and the lounge all greeting guests with a smile, making one feel right at home. The view from the window was lovely, with the 'three-piece suite' (likely referring to a specific building group) framed alongside the Oriental Pearl Tower, offering a distinct charm compared to the Seagull Regent. The minibar upheld Regent's generous reputation, and the room showed no signs of age, indicating good maintenance. The lounge's afternoon tea and happy hour, while not extensive, were exquisite and tasted decent, with ice cream available. The breakfast restaurant was slightly less impressive, with not a huge selection, though the service was faultless; à la carte options were available in the lounge. Overall, the experience was great, and I recommend checking it out.

There were a few minor issues during my stay, which didn't significantly detract from the experience, hence the five-star rating, but they are worth mentioning:
Firstly, a coffee packet in the minibar had been torn open, which I didn't notice at first glance, so I don't blame housekeeping for missing it. However, it suggests that the minibar wasn't fully restocked after the previous guest, which should be looked into.
Secondly, upon calling guest services, I learned that the hotel does not provide disposable bathtub liners. This might be something to consider adding.
Lastly, there were a few minor service glitches, such as a forgotten breakfast order and concierges being unfamiliar with the lounge, but these did not affect the overall experience.

The location is fantastic, with the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyline) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower right outside the window. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the concierge was very responsible. The hygiene was excellent and the cleaning was thorough. Highly recommend, I'll definitely come again!

It was raining when we arrived. We called ahead and they let us check in right away at 3 PM, which was great since we had a child with us. The environment is lovely, and the complimentary mini-bar snacks were a nice touch. It's also conveniently located near the subway. The rooftop pool is absolutely fantastic, and my child loved it!

I had a very satisfying experience this time. The staff were warm and attentive, and the value for money was excellent. The hotel's location is also superb, very close to the subway station. Definitely worth recommending!

Stayed here with my parents and children during a layover. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating; they readily agreed to our requests, like a late checkout. The afternoon tea and breakfast at the Regent Club on the 35th floor were also quite good. I'll definitely be back next time I pass through Shanghai on my way home!
