The mattress in the room was too soft; I completely sank into it when lying down, offering no support whatsoever. After waking up, my back would often ache. Although the air conditioning was blowing after I adjusted the temperature, the room temperature barely dropped, making it a bit stuffy with the windows and doors closed.

The hotel room was quite spacious and well-equipped. This time, I also enjoyed the afternoon tea buffet, which you can have in the roomy cafe or the beautiful outdoor garden. It was definitely great value for money and I'd recommend it to everyone.

The room was very comfortable, clean and tidy, and the bedding was excellent. All services were good. I needed to iron some clothes, and the front desk promptly had a staff member bring an iron and ironing board, which was super helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the restaurant was spacious, with a leaning towards Western-style options. If you went late, they'd advise you to take more as it was close to closing. A wonderful memory, I would definitely consider staying there again on my next visit.

Traveling with kids, the executive lounge benefits were pretty much nonexistent. At best, we could get some drinks downstairs. And they weren't flexible at all. I had two adults and two kids. I asked if we could be charged for four people for one day, and we wouldn't be there the next. They said no. Also, on the afternoon before check-out, my daughter ordered a cranberry juice at the bar. I noticed it was a half-empty carton of juice that they poured into a glass for us. I have no idea how long that leftover juice had been open. I felt uneasy at the time, but I was busy on the phone, so I didn't stop my daughter from drinking it. The rest of us all ate the same food. As a result, my daughter was throwing up and had diarrhea in the middle of the night. It was a rough night. Luckily, my daughter was fine by morning. Since we had a 7 AM flight the next day, we left the hotel at 5 AM, so we didn't bother complaining to the hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the city view was amazing. The service was professional, and the facilities had been upgraded, which was great. I'll definitely be back! The location is also very convenient.

The front desk service was excellent, and the environment and facilities were top-notch. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The dining was superb, and the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. The bed was just the right firmness, the room was spotless, and the Wi-Fi was super fast. The location was also fantastic.

The Hongqiao Hotel is a long-established hotel in Shanghai, centrally located in Hongqiao, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the breakfast is plentiful. The staff are warm and friendly, absolutely fantastic!

Great location with nice surroundings, and there's even a small park nearby. Plenty of places to eat and shop as well. The facilities are a bit dated, but the room is quite spacious. The window faces an elevated road, so the soundproofing isn't great. If you're sensitive to noise at night, this might not be the best choice. I'll need to consider that carefully next time.

This is my second stay in a few days, and I was lucky enough to get a suite upgrade. The service at this well-established hotel is impeccable. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, the wontons are delicious. Definitely worth multiple stays.

I was really disappointed. I would give it one star if the price was at 1/4. And at that price, I would give it no star if it's possible.
