The service was absolutely amazing, especially Lorna! She called ahead to arrange our room and, after learning it was my girlfriend's and my anniversary, she thoughtfully prepared a cake and a small gift. It was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the service was so thorough and patient. Responses were always quick. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view, clean, and tidy. The location is also fantastic, right near the Bund. We had a wonderful stay, and next time we're in Shanghai, the Hyatt on the Bund will definitely be our top choice!

The hotel is very new and luxurious, and the woody scent is delightful. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded me to a Pearl River View room, which also included a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread was amazing, with both Chinese and Western options, and a great variety of dishes. The breakfast hours were also long enough, making it a super comfortable experience. The hotel has city-view elevators, and I didn't experience any ear pressure while riding them. My room was clean and tidy, with a perfect room temperature and no AC noise – thumbs up! The bedding was dry and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. There was a private party at the bar that was a bit noisy, but it was handled quickly after I reported it. The bathroom was also very spacious. I'm very grateful to Lorna Meng for accommodating my special requests. This was a very pleasant stay, see you next time!

Had a fantastic stay! The room offered an unobstructed, front-row view and was very clean and comfortable. The indoor heated pool was large, with crystal-clear water at a perfect temperature. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a room with a better view, and the staff member immediately rearranged it for me.

Returned to Grand Hyatt again~ This stay was great, the service was superb! Anisa was very patient and helped us arrange rooms in advance. Both rooms were on the same floor with nice views. The rooms were clean and tidy. Will definitely come back if I have the chance.

I frequently visit the bar upstairs, and this time I booked a stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the view from the window was fantastic. It was clean and comfortable, and I was very pleased with the river view this time. Next time, I'd like to book a room with a Bund view.

The hotel's location is super convenient. Just a few minutes' walk to the left and you get an amazing view of the entire Bund. The service was also excellent; Lorna was so thoughtful and had the room ready for us in advance. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

This hotel is worth checking in just for the view alone, it's so incredibly enjoyable to stay here. The price for this room to admire the Bund scenery is an absolute steal! It's right next to Suzhou Bridge, so it's quiet, and the room is very clean. You can enjoy the Bund view directly from your bed. The breakfast is abundant with a huge variety of options, and the service is excellent. A special thank you to Lorna from the hotel for all her help.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the view was fantastic, especially when the lights came on at night. The breakfast offered a great variety, and on weekends, it's served until 11 am, which is a blessing for late sleepers! A big thanks to Lorna for her enthusiastic service. I'll definitely choose Grand Hyatt again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Great and quite atmosphere. It is famous for R roasted duck which is delicious and also reasonablly priced. Remeber to book duck in advance, and you can book half duck if you only have 2 persons. All dishes are good, but frankly not special considering price. RMB 88 for 6 fried dumplings, which tastes not as good as RMB 8 ones I can eat on streer stalls. Good for business lunch/dinner.

Worth the splurge! Generally hotel restaurants are a bit too generic and over produced for our taste but Xindalu at the Hyatt on the Bund was the exception. The comprehensive menu has all the dishes you travelers might consider "Chinese" cuisine, but that's ok as they do them SO WELL! There are at least a couple of dumpling options, and lots of stir fries and other classics. The cod is one of the most delicious seafood dishes I have ever eaten, worth the price. If you want a fancy, easy, delicious meal in Shanghai this is a great option.
