Stayed at the Swissotel many times while traveling to Shanghai . Excellent location in the middle of JingAn. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Hotel has been around for years but overall maintained good condition. The room is reasonably spacious for 2- sufficient walking and luggage space.

The hotel was in a very good location near Jing’an temple, but a little old and outdated compared to other hotels around the area. However, overall they are good for the money.

The location is superb, convenient for everything. The room was cleaned meticulously every day, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The doormen were also very attentive and tried their best. Many thanks. The only thing that truly surprised me was how poor the breakfast was for a 5-star hotel. I'm not even talking about the variety of food, but rather the quality of the ingredients themselves – they really need improvement. The cheese, ham, and bread were all subpar. The chef's omelet technique was more like scrambled eggs, and they didn't seem to have the patience to properly prepare fried eggs or sunny-side-up. On the other hand, the small wonton soup and lo mein were decent. But even simple pairings like congee and small side dishes were completely thoughtless. I was extremely disappointed. Paying 208 RMB for one person's breakfast was absolutely not worth it. I hope the hotel seriously considers improving this aspect.

Huge thanks to the hotel for arranging my preferred room – it was actually the exact same one I stayed in last Chinese New Year! What a lucky number, 1818. The front desk staff was so attentive and patient. And Xiaoqian, the attendant on the 18th floor, remembered all my habits from last year! She made sure the room was spotless and beautifully arranged every day, making it truly feel like home. The lion dance on the first day of the New Year was a real highlight. Even though the breakfast restaurant was crowded during the CNY period, the service was much faster than last year. This is, as always, my absolute favorite hotel. See you next time! ^_^

I originally booked this hotel for the second and third day of the ***** New Year, but had to cancel last minute because my baby had a high fever. My baby recovered by the fifth day, so I rebooked and checked in. We stayed in an executive room on a higher floor, which offered a much better view. My baby was so excited to be at the hotel, and slept really well in the extra crib provided.

A good berger king but with bad access for wheelchairs. The staff don't know any English and it's a little chaotic when it comes to making orders. Clean with plenty of seating.
