Paramount Gallery Hotel in Shanghai

I decided to take the metro from one of the major railway stations in Shanghai to the hotel (line 2) and it took me a while to find the hotel entrance, but when I finally got to the 12th floor reception, it all felt so much better. If you arrive by metro, aim to cross all 3 large zebra crossings to get to the opposite side of the road where the building is located. I think I exited from Exit 3 of the subway station.
The reception team was very kind and spoke English quite well. They helped with the check in and also in arranging a taxi to the airport, plus made sure I could also enjoy part of their excellent breakfast in a take away bag (I left before the opening of the kitchen).
The hotel is located opposite Jingan temple and the views from my room over the temple and area were truly amazing. There is a mini bar in the spacious room. The shower works excellent and the bed was super comfy and large. It was also quite easy to get to major sightseeing sites from this hotel with line 2 just minutes away.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Shanghai!.

I'm not a shill, this is a business boutique hotel. On the surface it's a four-star, but the quality is exactly like a five-star, just on a smaller scale. It's very clean, the front desk is quite efficient, and the bathroom facilities are high quality, using traditional Chinese herbal products. Although the breakfast area is small, it has everything you need, and the service is quite flexible and adaptable. I was very satisfied with this stay; it's my top choice for a mid-range price.

This was my first stay at the Paramount Hotel, and I was really impressed! It's surrounded by shopping malls, and the subway entrance is right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The service was absolutely fantastic, and the coffee at their restaurant, YoYo, was delicious. The staff were very attentive and thoughtful.

The room was spotless and very spacious with an excellent layout. The front desk staff and other employees were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is also super convenient. This is truly a hidden gem near Jing'an Temple!

This hotel offers incredible value for money, with top-notch service and super convenient transportation. The subway entrance is right at the doorstep, and Jing'an Temple is just across the street. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. The best part is the hotel's breakfast, which perfectly blends Chinese and Western cuisines, featuring both Shanghai specialties and international options. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Shanghai!

Right by Jing'an Temple, the location and views are absolutely superb, and being next to the subway entrance makes transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel has a charming, old-school vibe that's very comfortable, and the service is wonderfully refreshing. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Western and Chinese options to choose from, and they even gave us a parting gift. All in all, it's a place definitely worth returning to.

The location, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable, not to mention the attentive and thoughtful staff. On our first day, we went to breakfast quite late, almost at closing time, but Ms. YOYO insisted we take our time to get all our food, encouraging us to enjoy the view while we ate. She even helped us with our plates and made coffee. Later that evening, we returned to our room to a wonderful surprise: a sweet note from Ms. Feng, which delighted our child. We've stayed at many five-star hotels, but this was the first time we've ever received such a complete baby amenity kit. Our trip to Shanghai was incredibly comfortable, and we're very grateful!

The room was spacious and clean, and the location was convenient for transportation. We enjoyed a panoramic view of Jing'an Temple while having breakfast, which was also delicious and plentiful. The service was warm and attentive.

The room was spacious, the transportation was convenient, and the view was great. During the Qingming Festival, the hotel even offered free Qingtuan at the front desk, and the breakfast was excellent. My parents and children were very satisfied with their stay.

Just 20m to Line 2 Jinganshi station entrance. Next to big mall, many cage & restaurants. Clean and big rooms, though dated. Good service from bell boy to receptions to chamber maids. Will be there again.
