We recently stayed at Horizon international with family for 2 nights. Had a pleasant stay I can say, rooms are good, service is good and great location as it's walkable to temple. Staff were very helpful as we bought aged mother for darshan, helped us to get auto everytime we step out. Restaurant food is good so we dont need to search anywhere. Highly recommended for stay in Guruvayur.

Ideal place to walk to temple and great eat outs. Food not really great. They must make the rooms on the left side more cheerful with bright curtains. Not good to be in dark dingy rooms

10.05.2026 Ramchander

Polite & couteous staff. Food is good though limited choice. Very close to the temple
They should permit 12 noon check in instead of 3 pm. Being a temple town early arrivers are in a big number. Wifi connectivity is very poor. Unable to access wifi

Attended a marriage function at Hotel Horizon International, Guruvayur, and found the experience to be average. The event hall is quite small and lacks the scale needed for larger weddings, making it better suited for modest gatherings. Overall, the facilities and ambiance are just okay—functional for a quick visit to the temple town, but nothing particularly standout.

Very Good hotel. Rooms and toilets were clean and well maintained. Near to the temple. Walkable distance only. Good parking area. The restaurant was not functional during our visit due to unavailability of cooking gas, so no mention about the restaurant quality.

good . nyc ambience. maintenance is v. neat

Good Hotel with appreciable cleanliness in Toilet and room. Definitely enjoy the quality of room and overall ambience. Restaurant in ground floor is good eventhough items are very limited. Problem faced for Hot water, every time need to call room service to make it available. That they have to correct implementation and hot water should be available all the time(24hr) so that customer need not ask to get it.

26.02.2018 Benny

Poorly maintained. Bathroom was stinking. Not cleaned properly. Had to check three rooms for a decent stay.

I am European and visiting Guruvayur for praying with my wife.
The hotel is looking good from the outside.
The standard room was below average for India , looking like wear and tear.
Bathroom was not clean.
Wake up at 6 am by staff talking laudly in corridor and kitchen stairs
During our stay I had fever and stomach problems.
When calling reception the lady on duty advised us to go to a local hospital for help.
No help from the reception and no on-call dr. We went alone to find a hospital in late evening.
Womating is dangerous in asia and must be treated promptly.
Day after treatment in hospital we ordered hot water for drinking.
The flask was dirty with bad smell.
We decided to change hotel.
So waist of money , not keeping up to International standard.
Management problem , need to inform and train staff properly.
What is their duties?
Who is the guest?
What is standard ?

The staff were courteous, polite and good service provided. The hotel is walkable distance to the Guruvayoor temple.
