Really comfy and very reasonably clean (did not spot anything dirty or smelly, a very standard small two single beds ensuite). Great value for the price I would say. The owner is also friendly.

This was my worst 'hotel' experience in China in 5 years. The room was sad and run down and the place stunk of smoke. I'd recently returned to China & had done quarantine in Shanghai, before going traveling for New Year in accordance with all local rules. My girlfriend and I explained the situation to them multiple times and we were very aware there weren't any issues traveling. The hotel then called the called the police the next day who turned up at my door, and then left once we'd had the same conversation again.

Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been to.
The rooms are nice and clean; I was staying in a 4 bed dorm room, each bed had its own sockets. The bathroom was clean too and the shower was really nice.
The location is awesome. About 5 minutes walk to the next metro station, one station to the railway station (and the east railway station is at the same metro line too), nice area in general.
The owner of the hostel is a wonderful person, very friendly and caring. I forgot something in the hostel and he went out of his way to send it to me, I had it back the next day. I would always choose this hostel again when returning to Hangzhou.
