This hotel offers great value for money. It's super close, right across from Hangzhou Station, and just a short walk across the street to the subway. Although it's an older building that's been renovated, the rooms are genuinely spacious. I especially loved the long, practical desk. The hygiene was good, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast options were limited, but enough to fill you up, and the wontons were absolutely delicious. Being near the station, there's some noise, but it didn't bother me at all since I can fall asleep instantly when I'm tired.

Special shout-out to the front desk staff! Their service was excellent. My boss had recently undergone leg surgery and was in pain, so they kindly extended our check-out time for free. Their gentle demeanor and soft-spoken words were truly comforting.

The facilities aren't anything to write home about, but it's good value for money. First off, the transportation is incredibly convenient – Hangzhou Station, Metro Line 1, and Line 5 are right outside the door. The service attitude is also good; they even proactively notified me when the room price was higher on the platform where I booked. The only real downside is that the hardware facilities are indeed a bit old.

Great location, but the facilities are a bit old. The AC in the room was quite noisy, and honestly, they really need to step up their linen hygiene.

Good location as it is very close to railway station and metro station. Short ride to West Lake, making travelling easy. The counter staff on night duty on 30-31 May, Mr xx炜 was very helpful with our enquiries and giving directions. He also helped us order food through his handphone app as we didn’t have a local number on weixin and it was middle of the night when we checked in. A very friendly hotel and the room is pretty spacious although bathroom is slightly tight.

The room was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! It was also very clean, including the bathroom and shower. Parking was convenient, and the location was great! I'll definitely stay here again.

The room was excellent, spacious, and comfortable. The large counter along the wall was wide and long, making it very convenient to use. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service was great. I've stayed in countless hotels, but this is the first time I've seen an airport-sized luggage cart available in the lobby – how convenient! Everything is clearly designed with guests in mind. In particular, the gentleman at the front desk during check-in was incredibly polite and professional. He understood the etiquette for both Chinese and foreign visitors and was very skilled in hotel operations. He truly deserves special commendation and a perfect score. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou Westlake East was fantastic! The location is superb, right next to the city's train station and a subway entrance, just a few minutes' walk away. It made catching trains incredibly convenient, and getting to West Lake and Hefang Street was also a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The soundproofing was also pretty good. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and handled check-in efficiently. The buffet breakfast on the 26th floor offered a rich variety of delicious options, and there's a gym available too. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. It's definitely my top choice for travel, and I'll choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

The two gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, and having the subway station right downstairs was super convenient. Breakfast was excellent, and the semi-open air dining area had a wonderful ambiance! Very satisfied!!

The room was decent, clean, and hygienic. It's right next to the city's train station, with a subway entrance practically at its doorstep – super convenient! Surprisingly, it wasn't noisy at all. The staff were very friendly and, most importantly, the breakfast was delicious. They offered both Western and Chinese options, and I felt like the breakfast alone was worth 80 yuan. My child loved it too.
