Amethyst Napa Hotel & Spa in Ayia Napa

Great location, not far from Nissi Beach, with plenty of eateries and supermarkets just across the road. Quite a big, modern hotel with modern, spacious rooms with sea views. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was very good, a large buffet with plenty of options. The gym was also pretty good, with lots of Hoist weight machines, but sadly, no free weights (no dumbbells). Also a good range of high-quality cardio gear. Overall, a great stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to other travellers.

We stayed at the Amethyst Napa Hotel and Spa earlier this month with family as we were getting married just down the road, and everything was absolutely superb! From day-to-day enquiries to organising transport to and from the wedding venue, the staff were always friendly, polite, and eager to help. To make things even more special, the hotel kindly provided a separate room for our wedding reception, which was beautifully laid out. The team truly went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable — they couldn’t have done more for us. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and very well maintained. The food was excellent too, with themed nights offering plenty of choice each day. The entertainment was fantastic, and a special shoutout goes to Laszlo (aka COCO) whose endless energy and enthusiasm lit up every evening. Thank you, COCO, for also playing our favourite song for our first dance — it meant the world to us! I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cyprus. It’s perfectly located on the outskirts of Ayia Napa — close enough to town, yet peaceful and relaxing. We couldn’t praise the staff enough. Thank you for an amazing holiday and for helping us celebrate our special day in such a memorable way!

A wonderful experience that I will never forget! From friendly and helpful staff to a wide range of food being served through out the day and fantastic entertainment in the evening by the pool bar. I can highly recommend Amethyst Napa Hotel & Spa for anyone looking for a nice a relaxing get away and if you fancy some great night life the town is only a short cab journey away. I can't thank the staff enough for making us feel so welcome and working so hard to make everyday so special. I'd like to give Coco a huge shout out for bring such a fun and crazy atmosphere to the hotel during the evening with his great shows he's a legend! Overall it was fantastic experience and I really hope to return to the Amethyst Napa Hotel & Spa soon.

We have just returned home after another great holiday at the Amethyst Hotel. What makes the Amethyst really special is the staff throughout the hotel, they are all very friendly and helpful. Coco the entertainment coordinator is great always going above and beyond making sure you are enjoying your holiday.

I spent a very relaxing and funny week at the Amethyst Hotel at Aiya Napa. I need to praise the entertainer who made sure that I laugh every day. He was called by different names daily by other tourists as well. (The Buyas, The Cardinator, Pipi Johnny etc) If you choose the Amethyst Hotel dont hesitate to look for the entertainer. He is the Goat!

My partner and I have just got back after staying here for 9 days, we had an amazing time the hotel is very clean and smells fresh, the pool is good size, with jacuzzi bench it one corner with decent pressure gives a good massage The food was a different theme each night which was refreshing as it gives you a chance to try some different foods, but they also had the options for the less adventurous and children. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay in Ayia Napa We will definitely be returning

I have just returned from a weeks stay with my partner. The Amathyst Napa hotel and spa truly is a wonderful hotel. The location is fabulous, 20 min walk into nissi beach area with bars and restaurants and 5 min walk to the beautiful Makronissos beach. Few restaurants and supermarkets outside hotel too. The Hotel is immaculate. So clean, and friendly. Staff are so efficient. Rooms a brilliant size and facilities excellent. Pool is huge and no trouble to get a sunbed, regardless of time. I have celiac disease and found there were no alternatives, however there was so much more available. Food is so varied, fresh and tasty and a theme for dinner every night. Breakfast was also the same, so much choice. We did half board, so cannot comment on drinks but they looked really good and people seemed to enjoy them. Gym was ok for and cardio work, and spa looked really good, we didn’t use it though. I have travelled to many places over the years, and this hotel truly was the best I have stayed in. We have never gone to the same place twice, but this hotel we are and are on the verge of booking for next year. Hotel Amethyst, thank you for such a wonderful stay, you deserve all the awards you get

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, cleaned room ever day, Breakfast was ok, same as any other hotel nothing special. Shame the orange juice can’t be fresh. Overall nice place to stay.

New hotel, delicious dinners and breakfasts. 10 minutes from the sea, but we walked to the second beach in 15-20 minutes. Great sea view from the balcony. Checked in 1.5 hours early.

I went on a solo trip to visit a friend and stayed at the Amethyst. It feels and looks newly built and the rooms are all very modern and clean. But you can get that anywhere. What you can't get at other places is the team. I never bonded so well with any hotel team before. The animator guy, Laslo is the best of the best. Super funny and welcoming. He made me feel right at home. He organised different activities every evening. (Fire Show, Acrobatic Dance show, karaoke, bingo, killer pool, darts, etc.) There was never a dull a moment. The people behind the bar were also super nice. Next time, I book a longer time. Thanks for everyone, and I hope the hotel treats these employees really well, as they are all great.
