From walking into the hotel to leaving nothing was to much trouble for any member of staff Our room was wonderful and cleaned 6 days out of 7 We walked out of our room and there were sun beds/pool were right there( also pool towels are included for your stay) The food was great in the restaurant & pool bar and in the la a carte restaurant (which you get included if staying AL for more than 5 nights) The bar staff were great and the drinks were amazing and you had a great choice to pick from Big shout out to all the staff in the restaurant from behind the scenes to front of house staff all happy to greet you and have a conversation with you Don't let negative comments put you off we would go back if looking at Cyprus again

Don't take any notice of the bad reviews. Me and my wife stayed here for a week from the 21st September. The hotel is different to what the norm is with it being laid out in small blocks which I found really nice but my wife likes the traditional hotel layout. She did enjoy her stay though and grew to the idea. The staff were very welcoming from the time we arrived to the day we left and were always happy to help us. Rooms could do with a little touching up in places ie the shower silicone in room 4313 could so with a renew and tidy up. Other than that the rooms are very large and everything was as it should be. Television wasn't plugged in and had the wrong plug on it but we don't use them anyway but just a point to make.
Food was really nice and very varied every night and there wasn't a day we didn't enjoy our meals.
Entertainment is not the best at all and we went out every night for a walk instead.. The outside entertainment area is in need of a good look at the way it is laid out and needs more of a seating area to make it better if you want people to use it more.
Pool was good and really clean the day we used it but we are note beach focused on our hols and love the sea. Location is great and near everything you need with some great beaches nearby within walking distance.
The A La Carte restraunt is definitely worth a visit as the food there was amazing. Salmon and the steak were both to die for and it was the best salmon I have ever tasted with the mustard sauce making it the best taste sensation.
Some of the staff you have need to be truly recognised for the service they give and this was the young with the glasses and the most amazing snile called Veronica who was in the dining area. She worked tirelessly all day and was so happy and very chatty and polite when serving us. We tipped her really well when we left and she nearly cried when we gave her the tip and wouldnt accept it but we made her take it and refused to take it back.

Also Andrea's the older man who seved us in the A La Carte was the most attentative man and nothing was to much trouble for him. We had a really lovely chat with him about family values and he was so lovely to speak to and you could tell how genuine he really was. He made the meal very special for me and my wife and we tipped him really well also.
My only downside to some staff veneers were the female cleaning staff who did out rooms as they knocked then entered the room which we found odd as some days we wanted a little lay in and we could have also been laid naked on the bed or doing something they didn't need to see so this is something you could address down the line and ask then to wait a moment before coming in and see if someone answers the door.
Other than the little niggles we would definitely return to the place as we really enjoyed our weeks stay with you and love Cyprus with all our heart.
Thank you all for a great holiday and we both hope to see you in the early season and late one next year.

We just spent 5 nights at Atlantica Panthea. One thing I read a lot before going was the food- we had zero issues with it. As a fussy eater I always found something to eat. The room was clean and considering where the hotel is it’s very quiet but you can be out in the shops in less than a minute. A few things that let it down was- there’s not really at atmosphere around the pool, the sun beds are taken by about 9am with towels over them even though they are most uncomfortable things I’ve ever led on. The evening entertainment was hit and miss. The drinks are watered down quite a lot ( even soft drinks). The reception staff are the biggest let down of the whole experience- we asked for a late check ( and pay for it) out as our flight was an evening one to be told point blank no even though online I could book a room. The place that they wanted us to shower was gross ! Luckily I have family over there and could use theirs. So bare that in mind before you go.

Just got back from this hotel. Had a good time. However, there were a couple of issues. Firstly, as others had said, the room was not cleaned thoroughly. I made tea and coffee my first night and and the cleaners supposably washed the cups, but they were tea stained. The tea , coffee, and milk stock was never replenished, and I had to go in search of milk, tea bags, and coffee. Luckily, I used the chain in the room, and while myself and my husband were getting dressed, someone attempted to come into the room. The chain was a god send. One arriving, we noticed we had two single beds pushed together. We mentioned this at reception and asked for a double bed. We were told that it would be sorted but never was. To be fair, we didn't stress about it and just got on with the holiday. My husband likes to work out, so having a gym is always something we look for when booking hotels. Unfortunately, I have to say the gym was poor. Obviously not maintained at all. All the equipment was rusty, which may have been caused as it was near the pool, and some of the equipment was broken. The access to the sea front looked a little like a cleared building site. Very rocky, dusty, and could have been clearned and made access a little smoother for walking. We asked where the beach was and was told it was 5 minutes away and was, in fact, about nearly a mile away. On a whole, I liked the hotel. I liked that it wasn't a tower block. The grounds were well maintained. I would stay there again but would like a room with a balcony and a double bed.

The location was perfect—right in the heart of Ayia Napa, but set just far enough back from the main road to feel peaceful. Each day we enjoyed walking along the seafront, either to the harbour in Ayia Napa or over to beautiful Nissi Beach. Our room was lovely, with a terrace and garden area on the ground floor. We spent several afternoons just relaxing there—it was such a nice spot. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality really made our stay special. We also enjoyed the food. There was a different selection every day, and despite my food intolerances and my husband being a little fussy, we always found something tasty to eat. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday thanks to the hotel’s warm hospitality, peaceful setting, and great service. We’d happily return!

One Week of Disappointment and Neglect

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. For the entire week, my room was never properly cleaned. One day, fresh towels were just tossed onto the bed I had already made, and I found the balcony door wide open with a broken curtain. The bathroom drainage was so poor that it caused constant flooding, adding to the overall unpleasantness.

The room reeked for the entire duration of my stay, and the staff was far from accommodating. They seemed disinterested and were often glued to their phones or smoking. On one occasion, I was verbally abused in front of the hotel manager, who did absolutely nothing to address the situation. The food was basic and repetitive, so I avoided the hotel's facilities as much as possible. Overall, a truly disappointing experience.

Very bad, dirty rooms, they changed our room 3 times due to their incompetence. Ruined our 3 days there, they take your phone number at check in and call you bugging you to change rooms threatening they will go in and move your stuff

Having been here in September 2024 and again in June 2025 I returned for a third time within 11 months and my reward for coming back again was to be dumped in the worst apartment that Panthea has to offer It took two days to finally get a move and the attitude of the management was very poor The food has never been good but that's never been an issue because we always ate out. The pool is good but the best thing about Panthea is without a doubt the bar which is professionally run by Panagiotis the bar manager and a very welcoming gentleman. The room's are cleaned each day and fresh towels so that's a good thing. Sadly I won't be returning but I wish Panagiotis and his staff all the best. The pictures show the room we were allocated Vs the room we moved to after complaining for two days solid.

Was nervous about this hotel as per reviews but it was not as bad as people made out, if you pay for a room upgrade on booking the holiday and get a pool view the room is lovely, clean and the cleaners did a good job every day. Food was basic but nothing wrong same as drinks. Really good location for evening entertainment as the entertainment wasn’t great in the hotel on the evening. Also the daytime entertainment was so bizarre a male in his 30’s thrusting around the pool screaming gave some good entertainment but was very inappropriate for younger children. Overall wouldn’t come back as there are much better hotels for the price but I wouldn’t worry too much about the bad reviews.
