Christofinia Hotel in Ayia Napa

We are here to spend our holiday in Christofinia hotel in Aya Napa. Im very happy to stay here. Our room clean and big enough, the wifi is super fast. On my birthday the hotel stuff and management surprised me with a basket with some wines and friuts and a card. I was soo happy. Thank you. We just had a massages. The therapist were professional. We had a couple massages. After the treatment i felt lighter and happier. The breakfast is good. The hotel has a nice and big swimming pool. Every day the hotel offer the program for the guests. The Nissi beach 5 minutes from the hotel by walk. So far so good to be here.

The room we had was on the top floor (4th) and was spacious however, the bathroom was dated and in need of updating - the door was blown, shower was inside a stained bath, the loo roll was hard to reach from the loo and it was dark so my hubby had trouble shaving. We had 2 single beds pushed together despite mentioning it was our anniversary. No view to speak of but expected that. Housekeepers were ok however, on two occasions they failed to give us sheets AND towels. Went all inclusive; the food was ok but there was very limited choice but it did seem to taste better as the days went on, and they love serving pork! The restaurant staff were very helpful especially the manager - I forgot his name but it began with an S! The pool is lovely but there is nothing going on - no daytime pool games for adults or kids; the only thing they put on in our 2week stay was a 40min water aerobics clsss once a week. There was no evening entertainment either, the hotel was indeed very quiet. Sunbeds: pretty much guaranteed to get a sunbed as it don’t seem to get busy by the pool until after 10am. The pool bar staff were great; friendly and accommodating and kept the drinks coming. The lifeguard keeps the pool area nice and tidy too, collecting empty drink cups throughout the day. The music they play around the pool during the day was not great in our opinion, but bar staff would play tracks on request. However, expected it to be a bit more lively, being Ayia Napa. This hotel is located some distance from any decent shops, bars and clubs. You need to take a bus into the main part of town. The buses are few and far between and packed. The beautiful beach is a short walk away but be careful as is quite rocky here and several people were returning from the beach with twisted ankles!
