Reviews
2. The hotel staff treat foreigners and Chinese people differently. They are rude to Chinese people and will angrily ask where you're from, or ask rhetorically, "From China? From China?"
3. The directions for going to the beach are unclear. If you get lost, you'll be rudely criticized.
4. The food was bad, and the variety was limited. It was very salty and high in MSG, so I had to drink a lot of water at night.
5. Agoda said we could check out between 12:00 and 13:00, but hotel staff knocked on our door twice, at 11:50 and 12:05. The first time they knocked so loudly I was startled, thinking something terrible had happened. At 12:05, after we opened the door, a hotel staff member stood at the door watching us leave. Later, we discovered that many foreigners could check out around 12:30.
5. While in Cairo, I had a pretty good impression of Egypt as a country, but after staying at this hotel, I feel I'll never come back. There's serious anti-Chinese sentiment and rude service. The driver also tried to overcharge, even though the price was agreed upon during the booking.
6. The facilities are old and dilapidated, and many activities require extra payment, such as €5 per hour for billiards.
7. Things inside the hotel are expensive, and there are no shops nearby.
8. Medical care and medicine are even more expensive when you're sick; it's like being ripped off.
The family rooms are well situated and fine. Whenever an issue arises, the staff responds immediately. The hotel is managed by an experienced Turkish team, and you can feel the professionalism in the way everything is organized. The service can be a bit inconsistent at times, but the staff genuinely tries their best and is always friendly.
The food is varied, and there is something for everyone. It’s not gourmet level, but it’s absolutely acceptable — after all, they aim to satisfy a wide range of tastes, especially the German preference for milder seasoning.
We would happily return and can definitely recommend this resort. The only downside is that the activity staff at the beach can be a bit too pushy with their offers. Other than that, everything is top-notch.
The staff is so attentive, kind, and funny! Always in a good vibe, from the reception desk, to the animation team, restaurants, bars, house keeping, and everyone we met there.
The only thing that we were disappointed was the taxi from the hotel that we hired to bring us to the airport. During the trip, the driver used his phone while driving, to translate, and pressure us to tip him at the airport, saying things like "usually they tip me 15eur but it depends on your integrity" and other similar stuff. We found that very rude, like a scam.
We also loved the dinners at the beach bar, with the delicious barbecue, and the Greek restaurant. They both had great food and drinks, and great service!
Snorkelling at the house reef is just amazing! Just out of the beach you have access to an incredible diversity of fishes and colourful corals! Especial greetings to the lifeguards who were always nice to talk to, and gave us advices on how to stay safe.
Smoking is very common there, but I think that the outdoor restaurants should have non-smoking areas.
Oh and the pharmacy charging €12 for womens sanitary products is a complete rip off!!
Resort, Spa & Villas and had a wonderful time.
Everything was clean, the food was good, and we didn't have any stomach issues at all - which was great.
A very special shout-out goes to the animation team. Every single member did an excellent job. The evening shows were entertaining, professional, and made us laugh a lot. After the shows, we often went to the beach bar, where we danced together and had a really fun time. These evenings were truly memorable.
You can feel how much passion and energy the whole team puts into their work. They were always friendly, positive, and created a great atmosphere every day. The animation team was definitely the highlight of our stay.
The beach is beautiful, the sunbeds were
often taken early, but we still always managed to find some.
Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
A fantastic stay overall, and we would happily return.
The resort is large, with three distinct areas: West bay, Beach area and Villas. Beach (central) zone is amenable to families whilst the other two are for adults, but it is open plan and you never feel hemmed in. The grounds are beautiful with lush grass, palm trees and flowering shrubs, all interlaced with pleasant, meandering pathways on different levels. At night it is particularly beautiful because of the copious, soft lighting illuminating the flora and the abundant swimming pools.
The beach is wonderful and a cut above the adjoining hotels/resorts. Easy entry points are clearly marked and the sandy bottom ranges between 1-6M in depth, with numerous coral outcrops and and an abundance of fish. I totally recommend it for snorkelling.
Food and catering is exceptional at any level of all-inclusive package. The main restaurants offer a huge selection of fresh, appetising dishes. Really impressed.
Lots of resorts make really big claims about what they offer but, hand on heart, I can tell you that the management of Fort Arabesque truly walks the talk. They deliver EXACTLY what they claim to offer. The staff everywhere are simply delightful and attentive (love them all); the public areas and accommodation are impeccably clean and well maintained. We stayed in a duplex suite for part of our stay and the remainder in a beautiful villa. Irrespective of which package of accommodation you choose, I can guarantee that the same high standards will apply. 10/10
What made the experience even more disappointing was that the front desk initially told me, “This is a very good room for you today.” When I realized the room type was incorrect and requested a change, they switched me back to the room I had originally booked, but without any apology. Overall, it left me with a very poor impression.
Other services were acceptable and generally standard.
If you want, I can also help you adjust the tone to be more formal, stronger, or more polite depending on where you plan to send it.
