Great welcome, nice big clean room, slept like a log, excellent breakfast.
Great thanks for the nice lady at the reception for offering help!

Metz, 18 Rue Pasteur 🧭 Map
I've stayed in some of the big name hotel chains in Metz and none of them were that great. Hotel Escurial turned out to be an excellent and affordable alternative. The room was warm and cozy (and Metz was very cold) and on a par with hotel room sizes typical of Paris. I was at the front with a large floor to ceiling window and small balcony and it was completely silent. The bed was super comfy, the...
Hello,
I like to talk about my experiences in hotels, and I'm taking the liberty of pointing out the pros and cons, knowing that these are only details, but to add something extra or perhaps something to think about.
Let's start with the cons.
The bathroom lacks an electrical outlet that could plug in a razor or toothbrush, for example.
The television is smaller than what we would find in a hotel of...
We stayed there with friends. It’s good price-quality ratio. But rooms are clean, breakfast is very nice and enough choice. Staff friendly, nice walking distance to the city. I think we would go back
Very central hotel. Convenient to downtown especially if walking. The girl at the front desk was very kind to give us a waking map of the area. Since we were only there for 1 night, (& arrived late) we were able to park on the street right around the corner from the hotel, which is free till 9am. In the morning we paid for 2 hours to walk a bit and see the Cathedral. The room was small, but good for...
I stayed here 3 nights. The bed was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. On the first night they said they gave me a complementary upgrade which I think was a king sized bed instead of a smaller bed. I don’t really have any reasons to give less stars because my experience was great. I stay in a lot of hotels and the rooms definitely were basic as far as carpet quality etc. Because this...
Rooms were basic but clean. The staff with friendly and helpful. I was able to park bike inside lobby (secure area).
The breakfast was just ok. The selection was limited and not everything was fresh. The coffee was good!

Good starting point to city and intresting planes. Toilet, sink and bathroom are divided and has a curtain as main ”door” its nice in a way but not good as it can smell. The breakfast is 15euro per person. Its ok breakfast has what u need.
Receptionist are very friendly and helpful. Can recommend warmly :-)
Beatrice and the whole staff went above and beyond to help us. Loved this hotel♥️
I enjoyed this hotel more and more the longer I stayed.
Location could not be better. Service was wonderful. We had a room with a terrace, which was very pleasant. It's an older hotel, with lots of different types of rooms for different tastes.
Like most older hotels, it has a few charming quirks. The hallways are narrow and a bit dim; the stairs from reception to the first floor could use a...
The room is good and the price/performance ratio is high
Clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a garden room with a little terrace which was a lovely touch, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Great location and very quiet given the central location. 100% would stay again!

The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured.
Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.
Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.
Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2
were in the room for a double occupancy.
Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain.
1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff...
Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated...
Will Stay Again.
All staff were friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good, better than we anticipated. Great location for transport as tram just 100 meters up the road.
Bathroom a little awkward but does the job. Room clean. Will definitely use this hotel again.
A little gem.
After reading some reviews on this hotel I wondered what I had booked. Our stay was excellent, staff were helpful and personable and could speak English, which is always a bonus. The room was clean, well looked after and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental buffet style eat as much or as little as you wanted, with plenty of tea, coffee and fresh fruit drinks. This hotel is in the old part of town. Parking maybe an issue. Streets are very narrow. We rented a car to visit Normandy. Breakfast was excellent. The town is very charming.
The staff on check-in was extremely helpful. Room was clean. Everything was just fine.
The hotel and amenities were very nice and clean. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Very convenient. To everything. Enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay again
Right in the heart of the town. Beautifully managed rooms with amazing city views (depending on the room). Very walkable and very friendly hotel staff.
Really nice staff and a clean and tidy place. Great for a central location in Honfleur. Drop off and off site parking could be a problem for less mobile people.
The property was in a great location. Very walkable and newly updated and decorated. Breakfast was very good. It did not have an elevator and the stairs were small, so you should take that in to account. We had a very enjoyable stay. I would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

I don't know how this qualifies as a 3 star hotel. Rooms very basic. No kettle, fridge or safe. Also could do with a soft light on the desk. Room small. Staff were friendly and parking a bonus but was 20 euros a night. Breakfast adequate. Not in the best part of Lille, lots of homeless people . Very central for Xmas market and Eurolille.
Very well located hotel. Near the two main train stations. Easy walk into the city centre. Luggage storage available. Nice sized room for relatively cheap price.
Right next to the train station, there are many fast food restaurants nearby, and you can reach the tourist old town by crossing two streets. The counter service is friendly
Decent enough room, no qualms with the service. But the area around the train station doesn't feel safe, and you can find homeless camping a few meters away from the hotel which probably means the city doesnt bother to provide them any shelter
The location was very convenient however our room smelled strongly of smoke when we came in. Even after airing out the room, the smell lingered on the duvets and pillows.
I visited Lille as part of my ongoing family history research. I needed to travel from la gare de Lille Flandres and I arrived at Lille Europe. So I wanted to find a hotel that was close to both, as well as the City.
The staff were very friendly when I arrived and spoke English very well. The room was comfortable and perfect for a short stay.

The hotel is small, but the location and environment are great. The 5th arrondissement feels very safe, and you can walk to the Pantheon, Notre Dame, and other attractions. The service was good, and breakfast was plentiful. My only complaint is that for a twin room, there was only one duvet.
My overall experience was very good. Very friendly, helpful and caring staff - reception , breakfast room, cleaning staff. Our room was very good. Very clean and tidy bathroom. Central and accessible. Very good service
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Quartier Latin. The room was clean and pleasant, and it came with a lovely balcony that offered a nice view, which was a definite plus. This lovely small hotel couldn't have been in a better location for my visit to Paris. It is an 11 minute walk to Notre Dame and the B RER train station. The location is amazing with good bistro around it. Front desk is very helpful. However, the sound proofing of the room is not amazing as I can hear my neighbour's moving things around and also water sounds which lasted for 30mins or so.

Bordeaux, 6 Cours Du 30 Juillet 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a great location, close to the main attractions and restaurants in Bordeaux. The staff were polite and check-in was smooth. However, the rooms felt small and outdated, and the overall experience was ok. The breakfast was average and lacked variety. It’s fine for a short stay, but I expected a bit more comfort and attention to detail for the price.
This is the most central location I have ever stayed in. So easy to pop back into the hotel during the day to drop off shopping, use the restroom, or just take a nap. Only steps from the tram line that comes in from the Bordeaux train station, the intercontinental hotel, Opera House and shopping streets.
The location couldn't be better. Right in the centre with the tram stop just a minute up the road.
On the other hand, the hotel is tired as can be and the rooms seem to never be really cleaned properly.
The bathroom had a very bad odour and there was an incessant noise (like refrigeration) coming from the internal courtyard.
Small hotel in the center of Bordeaux,
It has a convenient public paid parking a short distance away, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned but it was a great compromise for the price we paid compared to the average of hotels in that area.
The area is very nice, close to the theater, place de la bourse the river and many restaurants.
Overall I leave a positive review.
The location and space are quite good, and the price-performance ratio is very high. Next to it is the Internet-famous steak fast food restaurant that queues up every day. I highly recommend everyone to stay here! There is an elevator. The room is smaller but clean and cheap. Impeccable.

The best hotel in Chambery , the rooms are very spacious with all your needs at your disposal. Infact I felt at home for the 4 nights spent in this hotel . Let me use this medium to thank Ikram at the reception and all her colleagues at the front desk. Will definitely come back .
Very friendly reception team; made sure we had rooms next to each other.

Good sized rooms, very comfortable beds.

A coffee machine is freely available

Really nice hotel, lovely and clean
Although it was a 3-star hotel, it was spotlessly clean, daily cleaning, towels and sheets smelled wonderful, rooms were small but good for a 3-star hotel, centrally located, 3-4 minutes walking distance to 2 different metro stations.
The suite was the way to go. Spent 8 nights at the hotel. They had housekeeping every day which was surprising. The suite was roomy.
The only thing I was disappointed in were the drapes. They were dirty and stained. The AC was off and turned to heat so you have to open the windows for cool air. It was slightly warm in the room but cooled off nicely.
Room was very clean, staff was okay. Location was the most convenient being close to many restaurants and bars, including only 10 minuets away from multiple metros. Would recommend to others, stayed for 10 days
The location is great as it is not a far walk to different metro stops. The staff is amazing!!! Room was serviced each day. The suite had room with a sitting area and bed in the back.
Problem with the room was the curtains were so dirty. Stains all over them. They need to be replaced big time.
Hotel was in perfect location for the Metro and walking into the old quarters of Paris. Lots of cafes and dining options. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable, appreciated the elevator after hours of walking around with bags.

Paris, 68 Quai de la Seine, 19th arrondissement-Buttes-Chaumont 🧭 Map
Superb hotel in a very quiet area, overlooking the Canal de la Villette. Very clean, excellent bedding. The room had enough space for two adults and one teenager. The only downside was the heating, which couldn't be adjusted, and at 26 degrees Celsius in a room, it was far too hot (we slept with the window open). The breakfast was very generous and of high quality. In short, excellent value for money
Breakfast and budget are OK , but the facilities need renovation.
In the room for two we had only one chair (?). The other guest must either stand or be able to use the bed.. We demanded that they add another one, but that didn't happen. They also didn't change the bed linen for several days, even though it was stained. They just turned it over? Apparently there is a problem with the staff.

Service is very good. Rooms are clean and the size is ok, but the bathroom is tiny. For breakfast there are several options, even boiled eggs (there is no scrambled eggs, nor sausages), the proposed food is fresh and tasty.
A well located, quiet hotel with thorough service and attractive price. However, the bathroom is a little small. If you come to Lille for a short trip, this is probably the best choice.
