The room was brilliant for our needs. The beds were particularly comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and everything was clean. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely 8 nights at the Diana Dauphine Hotel. A very warm welcome when we arrived and the breakfast team did a great job presenting and constantly keeping the extensive buffet well stocked. Everything was good and clean. Only one small issue was that the wifi connection did not work in our room.

The bus was delayed due to the transfer and we could not find an available hotel when we arrived in the city. We could not stay at the hotel because there was no availability, but the person in charge offered us hot coffee and did us a great favor. I send my love. 🙏🙏

The hotel was decent. It’s right in a main tourist square by the Cathedral so it’s very convenient for people looking to see the historic district. I checked in late at night and had to check out early the next morning to catch the first train, which I'm sure was a hassle for the staff, but they handled it gracefully. The room was clean, and there were two oil heaters, so there were no issues with warmth. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but certainly manageable. This is a very old hotel, very expensive, and not worth the cost. We had a suite on the 5th floor. The elevator only goes to the 4th so there were 20 steps to climb each time you went to your room. It could be an issue for some people. The people are very nice; it's just totally overpriced for what it is. I wouldn't recommend it.

Because it is located right in front of Colmar Station, it is a very good hotel for those arriving late at night. The tourist attractions are also about a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and was very satisfying. However, the room felt a bit old, which was disappointing. The shower water pressure was weak, and the hair dryer was quite old with low airflow.

Overall, everything was excellent; we spent one night there. It was quite convenient to get to by car, and there's free on-site parking for guests. The room has everything you need (except a fridge, of course), including tea, coffee, cups, water, and a kettle. Everything seemed clean and tidy, and the room was warm enough.

Good, clean hotel with medium-sized rooms and a generous breakfast. Perfect location for driving around Colmar and the surrounding villages. Colmar city center is a 6-minute drive away. Free parking is available underneath the hotel.

The room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable, but the facilities were a bit basic. There was no laundry service or laundry room, and no mini-fridge in the room, but you could ask the front desk to store your refrigerator there. The location was convenient if you were driving.

The room was small, smaller than expected, but the shower had plenty of hot water. There were no supermarkets nearby, and the location was quite remote, so you had to drive out to buy things. Ribeauville is a wonderful small town in the Alsace region. The L'Hotel and Spa complimented our lovely stay in this beautiful town. The spa was a great bonus and perfectly clean. Was here over Christmas and it’s just outside the main area which meant our suitcases didn’t need to undergo security check. Room was tiny but clean and staff was friendly. One downside was that there is only 1 lift and during peak hours it was quite slow.

If this is your first time visiting Colmar and you're traveling by train with large luggage, I highly recommend staying here. Although it's a bit far from the train station, you can easily reach it by taking bus C from right outside the station to Hop Schweitzer (a 10-minute ride). A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.

The biggest advantage is its proximity to the station. The elevator is small, so be careful if you have luggage. Breakfast is practically nonexistent, it doesn't matter if you go early or late. The restaurant is on the second floor, right next to the stairs, so you won't be sleeping there in the mornings and evenings.

Exceeded expectations!!! The hotel also has parking right outside, which is super convenient! The hotel is excellent value for money, and the Old Town area is a 5-10 minute walk away. One thing to note is that there's no elevator. Since we had luggage, we asked the front desk to arrange a room on the ground floor, saving us the hassle of carrying heavy luggage up the stairs.
