It was such an amazing experience staying at Green Sheep. Such an authentic and beautiful place to stay! We came as a big group and were treated like family. The hosts are very welcoming and kind. The food was outstanding, rooms are spacious and views are great ! It’s a great location to explore the area. Can’t wait to return!

Good hotel with good views.. rooms r good..they have an amazing restaurant but unfortunately it's not operational but still the main market is near by so u can walk and grab whatever u want.. although breakfast wasn't there but the owner was kind enough to offer tea,coffee, fruits and homemade cakes 🙂

waited 2 hours for our rooms to be ready all though we came after check-in time. Friendly all though clueless staff. They forgot towels & soap for one of the rooms. The garden is nice to chill in. And the area is quiet.

The room are really comfortable. The beds aren’t perfect but it was by far the best view in the mountain with the panoramic window in the rooms. The hotel is very elegant. It has a nice common terrace and very beautiful dining hall. Staff were nice and helpful. But it lacks some standard features like a double bed (during booking the room my request was a double bed, but when we got the hotel, we saw separate beds. Receptionist said that the hotel doesn't have a double bed at all, what?), a television (you might oppose me, but nobody says no...

A fabulous, stylish guest house ,great view from the balcony ...I stayed in room 202and it was very clean and modern.. The mattress is one of the most comfortable I ever had in Georgia. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the village but still could walk for 5min to the shops and cafes .. I highly recommend

Beautiful hotel in the valley, which looks stunning from the inside. The staff is super friendly, especially the woman sitting at the reception. I you have some spare time, come by and say hi to her. It will feel like a warm welcoming hug

Stayed as part of the first ever Contiki Best of Georgia tour (June 2024), and enjoyed the stay. Surrounded by mooing cows, a beautiful view of the snow capped mountain peaks from my room, decent breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. Thermostats don't seem to work for colder temperatures, but the area is mosquito free and it is possible to sleep with the balcony door open.

I can highly recommend this. From my bed I had an incredible view of Trinity church lit up. The room was comfortable and warm. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly. Amazing price, such great value.

Not far from the town center, parking is available in front. The room faces Mount Kazbek and has large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of Trinity Church from your bed. The hotel staff are handsome, humorous, and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

We had a clean and spacious room with a big terrace and amazing view. Location is also good, close to everything! Last but not least, the host is very helpful and friendly! He offered us his homemade wine ❤️ Will definitely come back next time!

good value overall, it looks ok from outside, but inside the room it lacks basic amenities, such as table, cup, tissue, clothes hanger etc etc. The bath gel / shower are really basic and not up to standard. Wet floor for toilets after shower, feel dirty too.

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. I loved the hotel, the decor was beautiful as you can see from my pictures. The owner was really sweet and gave me a room upgrade. The view from the upstairs sit out was incredible and I spent a lot of time there..it’s a quick 10min downhill walk to the main road.

Great location and great service. The other reviews worried me at first but the staff was very friendly and helpful, and I would come again. It's worth mentioning that my room was on the mountain side, which seems far more comfortable in term of noise compared to the street side. We have been travelling in Georgia for a month and this was our best stay. It was a very cozy and familylike, we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen and courtyard were really nice to hang out in. The host Leila was very generous and we felt more welcome than any other place were we have been. The breakfast was delicious aswell.

We stayed in Kazbegi for 2 nights. STUNNING VIEWS from my bed. Cozy homie vibes. The room is very clean and neat. Comfortable bed and blanket. Hot shower is working perfectly. Plus Nino is very kind and helpful even she only speak a bit English. The location just few minutes walk from the main road and good restaurants around. I had wonderful time here ❤️

The rooms are okay, host is very friendly, but we don't suggest to have breakfast there. Besides the terrace is for common use, so it's not a big drama if you just take rendom room without additional cost for mountain view.

Very new (as per December 2019), comfortable quiet, VERY WARM, hotel. When we were there, dining room, kitchen and outside terrace were not yet finished, but looked imoressive. Room was small but cozy. Nicest staff eager to make you feel comfortable. They have private parking. Mountain view, but not the Trinity church view, be careful!

We stayed here for 1 night and we wished we could have stayed longer. It’s a long ride from Tbilisi but definitely worth it when we arrived. The location of the hotel offers a great view of the mountains and the city. We were given a room at the end of the hall with small balcony so we get to see both views on each side. Amazing! Room size is decent. No Aircon but it’s cold at night so should be alright...

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Alpenhaus. The view from the room was amazing. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The food was amazing and all our requirements were taken care of. It is the perfect stay to get lost in your thoughts right in the middle of the mountains.

I stayed here for 5 nights and it’s definitely worth it! Giorgi and Sofia are very accommodating, and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Important to note that they don’t offer food here yet, but there’s a lot of restaurants around the area so that’s not a big problem. Gonna come back for sure!

We spent a comfortable 4 nights at WH hotel. The location is up the hill from the main street so an " exercise walk" is needed. The views of Mt. Kazbegi from the rooms is beautiful, especially at sunrise. The only negative thing is the noisy wooden floor boards from upper floor rooms.

We, a group of 10, had to stay there because the road to Gudauri was blocked. We got quickly a room, Georgi was such a friendly and helpful host, the rooms were perfect, everything you need was there, the view was fabulous. Highly recommended. Thank you, Georgi!!

We had a beautiful stay with the mountains and trinity church view from inside the room itself. The host is very friendly and nice and family maintained. We also did a day trip with them they were very friendly and took to best places like Dariali Monastery Complex and Elia overall I recommend this place very much Rooms were neat and well maintained.

Nice view. Top rooms have a slightly better view, but are a bit smaller. In the bottom rooms you can hear if somebody is walking upstairs. We got a glass of wine as a welcome drink. Big dog, but super chill.

Service & hospitality was great. Excellent view to the top of mountains and a nice spot to enjoy the weather. Brilliant ambience as the complete structure is made out of wood. No food availability on premise and No shattaf in the toilets. Apart from that it was a great experience. They also have a pet dog named Bugi who was very friendly and playful with kids.

The locale is very scenic and serene. We had a short stay for just one night but the host made it ultra comfortable. Cozy and clean best describes Bakari Inn. Very close to the supermarket and good restaurants. The breakfast was excellent!

The view is unbelievable. Room's needs are for sure a microwave, heating for bathroom too cus its central. A bit walking distance from the center and bolts are expensive. So make sure you get some snacks and beverages before going up.

Lovely 2 night stay at this hotel, we went for a hiking trip and got a room that was overlooking the mountains (even from the Breakfast room). Breakfast was good, a variety of local food and salad. Look, the HillTop Kazbegi is no Park Hyatt. It is a small, family run, boutique guest-house - but, I think "best in class". Good value to money hotel with clean and comfortable interiors. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. There's a kitchen with varied cutlery to cook own food, 24/7 tea coffee and a great paid brekfast. The location is a decent walk away from the main road and market. Also wish they had a lift.

The place is good but not the best in the city. Sunshine hotel is average, comfortable but not very clean. The view from the rooms is outstanding. The breakfast is very good. The staff is ok.The main reason to put above the list is the ratio price/quality.

We spent one night at Sunshine hotel and it was amazing. Even though it was raining and cold, we managed to have a great night especially that our room had a small balcony and an amazing view of the mountain. Very well organized hotel; in addition to fully equipped rooms (which should not be taken for granted in today's Georgia) and breakfast, it also has a home-style kitchen where you can cook on your own, a welcoming hall for socializing and an outside terrace (with tables, chairs, blankets) that overlooks famous Kazbek mountain.

It was one of the best stays I have ever had, especially the old lady and her husband, who did whatever they could do to make our stay comfortable. The fresh milk of local cows in the breakfast, local honey, and freshly cooked traditional cheese pizza were the highlights of our breakfast. It is very nice place. Personal is really hospitable. We were living in good, pure, spacious room with amazing view on mountains. Rooms are staffed of all necessary things, really comfortable and well planned and designed. There is a big hall on the first floor with soft chairs and sofa and table.
