Really nice and cool place! We slept in the hut where the bed was placed under a roof window. It was really cozy watching the moon and stars at night and waking up to the bright mountains above! The room could have been a little bit cleaner, but we are ski people that has a lot of things with us, so we easily add some mess and didn’t feel bothered:) Service people where really nice, locations is great...

We stayed for 4 nights, and the place has beautiful mountain views and a peaceful village atmosphere. The price is good — about half of what we paid in Tbilisi — so it’s budget-friendly. However, the access road is very rough (unpaved and rocky), and the hotel accepts cash only. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and overall cleanliness was poor — spider webs, broken lamps and dishes, and a bathroom...

The lady Tamara and Katherina are the best host you can ask for. They were the kindest and most helpful person around (as the host and the owner of the property). Highly recommended as it has pool and sauna (sauna is not included but its very cheap). Great value for money and to experience hospitality in Kazbegi.

The cottage is clean, cozy, and very comfortable! It has a wonderful view over the town, and it is in front of the Kazbegi mountain. If you are lucky to have good weather, the views from here and from the restaurant are the best! It had a pool where you could swim even in the evening times as water is always warm. It's absolutely worth it!

The view is indeed great, but it's really not a good experience when there are no signs inside the building and staff are the only ones telling you not to take photos. The shower partition in the bathroom was just okay. Its main advantage is really the location.

The hotel's in-room facilities are pretty basic, but the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was plentiful, and you can also order dinner at the hotel. It's great value for money, and the cocktails are delicious!

The houses facing the mountain are nice, but those at the back are just too noisy.

You definitely don’t get what was advertised. The room was worn-out, there was water damage, the bathroom had a terrible odor, doors of the bathroom could only be locked from outside and the heating had no regulation and it got really hot. Very nice place with amazing view. Highly recommend to book apartments with terrace to have a cup of coffee outside enjoying the mountains. So adorable. I feel like many staff members at this hotel are unfriendly toward Asians. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is not available for use. What was disappointing was that when I handed over 100 lari for an 80 lari bill, I got all change back instead of a 20 lari note. And it was all mixed up—20, 50, 1, and 2 lari coins. I ended up having to do a workout on my way home.

We had such a great time at Archi and Nino’s. They were so welcoming when we got stuck due to an avalanche and snow. The house is comfortable, clean and warm. Nino‘s cooking great and plentiful. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We spent comfortably two nights here. The breakfast is prepared by the mother and it exceptional, we even brought some for our daily hikes. We truly recommend.

Red Stone Guesthouse We got the room with the balcony which was very nice and you can hang your clothes to dry. The room is very spacious that can sleep up to 3 pax. Infrastructure wise, the place’s nice and cozy, but the hostess had a very rude and weird attitude with us when a confusion regarding the use of the kitchen arose. Instead of offering a clear and kind communication, she became aggresive, which left us pretty uncomfortable. Would reccomend to watch out for her behaviour.

Nicely located with easy access to mountain trails and a short walk to the center of Kazbegi. Good price for the room and comfortable bed. The host was a nice lady who couldn't speak much English. However, the curtains off the room were a bit see-through and let in too much light. Also the bathroom floor got all wet every time we showered.

The location is good. I was traveling with friends and we took a 4 bed family style room. The room was clean the mattresses are old. Beds could use more support slats. But a decent night sleep for all. The bathroom is shower, toilet (western style) and sink in one big room with floor drain. The offer breakfast for 10 GEL lari (no meat).

Stayed here with a friend for 3 nights. The property is a 10 minute walk from the centre and has a lovely view from the patio! Simple accomodation but clean. The house is very noisy, cos you can hear every word said anywhere in the house. It seems like the walls are made from papers. Especially if there is family dinner for 15 people lasting till late night. The breakfast and dinner was excelent.

We stayed in a different place but we came to try the authentic Georgian gastronomy and it was delicious, tasty and traditional food, it was a nice place and there were wonderful views, and the people OMG so nice, kind and generous. We had dinner and breakfast, it was incredibly tasty. I think it was one of my best food experience in Georgia, and there was a very energetic, positive and cozy atmosphere

5-10 minutes from the town center, even though Gergeti church isn't visible from here, mountains behind makes nice view from the window, overall there are 5 rooms, but can accommodate to 3-4 people each, nice place to stay overnight, the family is hospitable. drying fan is available in the bathroom, the heating is on till late may.

Very nice guesthouse. Suja is a warm and sweet person who made us feel at home. The rooms are of good quality and so are the beds. Ideal to use as a base for hiking to the Gergeti glacier.

That place was my favoriite during the all Georgian trip. So-so-so friendly people. I felt they were like family. The breakfasts were amazing (so many good things to eat). We also made hinkalies together and those were best ones. Rooms were clean, modern and comfy 🙏😇😀! Was so glad to be there and want to go back. We went to hike to Kazbeki and it was really close walking to trials.

Loved the stay here. The host truly cares about guest experience. The place has amazing views of the snow clad mountains and perfect for anyone wanting to hike to the trinity church. Ate here as part of the Georgia Quad multi day tours. They organized a full range of traditional cuisine, not salty and greasy like in the restaurants. Worthwhile to eat here instead of the town center.

I can still remember around 2020 of January we had our lunch here. People were really hospitable, different scrumptious food they serve and the view from their living area is majestic. They aso teach how to make kinkhali which we really love. But the Chacha reqlly caught my attention. Hoping to visit Georgia again and of course Ketino’s home for lunch!

Located on the hill in front of Kazbeki (Stepandsminda), has a wonderful view of the city below, including the sunrise. Breakfast is generous and delicious. The rooms are simple but very good and equipped with everything you might need. We also had dinner here (see pictures), which we highly recommend if you want to experience a home cooked dinner.

We went to Ketino to eat Khinkale, she showed us how its made and even got us all in the kitchen to practice the food was amazing, great wine on the table and all very friendly! Very recommended!

This is a very beautiful guest house hosted by very a nice and warm family. The view from the rooms are great and it is located 10 mins walk from the centre. The photos in the google maps listing are not accurate about this guesthouse. We thought it looked like the first few photos, which are actually of another hotel (5star, called “Rooms Kazbegi”). To Be clear, there is no pool or sauna or deck at this guesthouse. But the hostess is welcoming and the room was clean and the facilities worked, it’s just a bit misleading on google.
