Where to stay in Kazbegi

There are no services provided; everything is done independently, including check-in and check-out. Although the owner responds via WhatsApp and provides instructions for your stay through chat, we still contact them first.

Very satisfied. The room was great with a view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's very close to nearby tourist areas, making it convenient to go anywhere. The surrounding environment was also very quiet. Overall, a very good experience.

There wasn't much service, but that's not to say it was bad. There was no check-in or check-out required; you just gave your name correctly and got a room. When you left, no one was there, so you could just walk out. All rooms had a large lawn in front of them, with some rocking beds and lounge chairs, which was quite chill. The room had central heating, but it woke me up in the middle of the night...

The room is clean and the location is ok, 15 minutes walk to the city center. No TV or refrigerator.

The houses facing the mountain are nice, but those at the back are just too noisy.

You definitely don’t get what was advertised. The room was worn-out, there was water damage, the bathroom had a terrible odor, doors of the bathroom could only be locked from outside and the heating had no regulation and it got really hot. The road leading to the place was terrible and same goes for the service.

We expected to spend 1 night and we stayed longer. The spot is spectacular with superb views. The room is super big with a kitchen and warm in winter. Alex, the person in charge, is helpful. Really the place to stay.

Very nice place with amazing view. Highly recommend to book apartments with terrace to have a cup of coffee outside enjoying the mountains. So adorable. Staff is very helpful, we asked for a barbecue they even give us charcoal and all the stuff. Very good idea to have a bbq with such a view. Starry sky is so adorable.

Wonderful breakfast - the jam!! Hosts were very welcoming and whilst language with the lovely lady was sometimes hard she could not have made me feel more welcome and looked after. An unbeatable breakfast each day before several long hikes. Great shower and firm bed after walking was great.

The view is amazing! the landlord was really cute and helped with everything we needed. the only small issue we had was something she couldn't handle. there were gas issue fir the entire village, so no heating in rooms and no hot water, and when it was back it took a long time until hot water arrived to the rooms

Nicely located with easy access to mountain trails and a short walk to the center of Kazbegi. Good price for the room and comfortable bed. The host was a nice lady who couldn't speak much English. However, the curtains off the room were a bit see-through and let in too much light. Also the bathroom floor got all wet every time we showered.

The location is good. I was traveling with friends and we took a 4 bed family style room. The room was clean the mattresses are old. Beds could use more support slats. But a decent night sleep for all. The bathroom is shower, toilet (western style) and sink in one big room with floor drain. The offer breakfast for 10 GEL lari (no meat).

These guys get the 5 stars mainly for their hospitality! Not only they were very helpful, the place have a homely atmosphere and things were all very clean for how many people were staying there. One draw back is that the bathroom is shared. The views from around is also great!

Very cosy place with a local feeling. The rooms are well decorated in what I believe to be a classic Georgian style. The rooms doesn't have a view, but you can see the beautiful mountains from the balcony. The hosts are very friendly and offered us so much food, snacks and alcohol while we stayed there only one night. Location is also great and not too far for the center.

Simple accomodation but clean. The house is very noisy, cos you can hear every word said anywhere in the house. It seems like the walls are made from papers. Especially if there is family dinner for 15 people lasting till late night. The breakfast and dinner was excelent.

We stayed in a different place but we came to try the authentic Georgian gastronomy and it was delicious, tasty and traditional food, it was a nice place and there were wonderful views, and the people OMG so nice, kind and generous. We had dinner and breakfast, it was incredibly tasty. I think it was one of my best food experience in Georgia, and there was a very energetic, positive and cozy atmosphere

The room is clean and has small kitchen, owner is kind and let us check in early, but the floor is making a lot of noise and there is no soundproof as we can hear next door The view is also superb, just need to walk for short distance from parking and city centre

A great place, the rooms are really nice and the ciew is incredible, the family who owns the place are really friendly. The location is quite far from kazbegi so we had to drive 14 minutes to get there.

Very nice guesthouse. Suja is a warm and sweet person who made us feel at home. The rooms are of good quality and so are the beds. Ideal to use as a base for hiking to the Gergeti glacier.

That place was my favoriite during the all Georgian trip. So-so-so friendly people. I felt they were like family. The breakfasts were amazing (so many good things to eat). We also made hinkalies together and those were best ones. Rooms were clean, modern and comfy 🙏😇😀! Was so glad to be there and want to go back. We went to hike to Kazbeki and it was really close walking to trials.

We went to Ketino to eat Khinkale, she showed us how its made and even got us all in the kitchen to practice the food was amazing, great wine on the table and all very friendly! Very recommended!

Warm welcome, good facilities and then the diners: all guests together eating, chatting and feeling at home like one big family!

One of the best places I've stayed. Ketino is a warm sweet grandma type figure that calls everyone "dear" and her food is just wonderful. Staying here is a real Georgian experience.
